08/03/2026: If you pass through Piombino, and it's worth it, Mangiafoco is the osteria not to be missed, starting with the owner, aka Mangiafoco, because I assure you it's him... in addition to the incredible resemblance, he is an excellent chef and artist of the so-called "poor man's fish", anchovies with onions, wonderful stockfish, horse mackerel and above all the octopus that the chef makes is starred, impossible to describe, it deserves to be eaten, in addition of course to excellent fish first courses and catch of the day!

01/03/2026: Excellent seafood dishes. Quality ingredients. I recommend trying all the appetizers, the highlight of which is the boiled octopus. Among the first courses, the lobster linguine is exceptional. Reservations are recommended, even during the week.

Incredible selection, excellent taste. 💚🤍♥️ Unfortunately, ordering and paying aren't as fluid for non-native speakers, but I still tried my best to speak Italian. But: You understand more than you can say – which means: Please advise the staff not to get upset about customers until they're no longer in the store. Both times, there was no one behind me when I started ordering. On our second visit, where we were again served by the employee who was apparently in a bad mood more than once, the customer behind me kindly helped out. Conclusion: Tarts – made with LOVE. Just sold WITHOUT love. Thanks to the makers of these delicacies. 👌 And: There's easy parking in front of the store. The opening hours are up-to-date online. 👍

29/09/2025: Extremely friendly employees work patiently and quickly to sell incredibly delicious sweet and savory baked goods. Their friendliness is hard to beat. An outstanding place for a daily breakfast, with low prices, a true asset to the area.

13/12/2025: I was invited to lunch and it was a truly delightful experience. The spacious dining room reminded me of the pizzerias of the 1960s and 1970s. The dishes revealed authentic, enduring flavors. The tortelli were a masterpiece, followed by a truly unsurpassed fried squid, shrimp, and vegetables. The staff was always friendly and smiling (which is not always the case). I will be back very soon.

30/09/2025: One of the best places in Livorno, welcoming, clean, and with fantastic staff, highly recommended! The food is delicious, and the drinks are great too!

21/10/2025: Beautiful beach, ample parking along the street, clear water, and beautiful views. Facilities (restrooms, restaurants) are available.

18/10/2025: Expensive parking. I've definitely seen nicer beaches in Tuscany. But one positive: practically deserted in mid-October.

08/03/2026: If you're looking for a place to eat with the family, definitely come here. They have a very extensive menu, excellent pizzas and first courses, and the fish main courses are also quite good. Desserts are so-so. The prices are really reasonable, I think among the lowest these days. The staff is very friendly. The place could use a bit of a makeover, but it's still very clean and tidy. My compliments to the owners.

17/08/2025: Spectacular little corner with delicious and delicious focaccias. I can guarantee that whatever focaccia you eat, you'll be full and satisfied. I went back two days later because I was craving that focaccia. :) Very reasonable price and very friendly staff. Recommended.

28/12/2025: Traveling from Turin to Naples, we decided to exit the highway for lunch and stopped here by chance. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the staff were efficient, and the owners were truly friendly and welcoming! We'll be back... Highly recommended.

Torneremo sicuramente per questa pizza che è indubbiamente una tra le più buone che io abbia mai mangiato, ma soprattutto per il personale simpaticissimo!
