05/04/2026: Easter lunch for three, exorbitantly overpriced for flavorless dishes full of parsley. The place was dimly lit, and I saw customers washing their dog's dirty bowl in the bathroom sink. We went for their renowned cacciucco, but there wasn't a trace of it on the menu. We won't be returning.

I've been there several times, both for aperitifs and dinner, and each time it's been a top-notch experience.
The atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends or a more relaxed dinner. The dishes are not only delicious but also spectacular.
The service is attentive, fast, and unobtrusive. Special thanks to the always friendly and helpful waiter, who makes the atmosphere even more pleasant.
Highly recommended if you're looking for quality and hospitality in the city!

05/05/2026: We were greeted with a smile, a rare thing, with polite and friendly manners, making us feel right at home. The wine list was excellent, the platters were well-stocked, and the service was as expected, with quality products and fair prices.

14/04/2026: Whenever I pass through Livorno, I always make a point of stopping by SUD! This small restaurant offers typical southern Italian dishes and drinks in a friendly atmosphere with extremely friendly staff!
It has a very affordable aperitivo option (I think a taglierino and a glass of wine are €10, but I've been trying it for a while) and offers a quality dinner at a reasonable price.
For two, we ordered a taglierino (€12) to share, two rustic sandwiches (€6.50 each), and a liter of red wine (€12). We spent €18 each.
Everything was delicious and plentiful: what more could you ask for?

Perhaps one of the only places in Livorno that serves specialty coffee.
I attended a class on the sensory analysis of coffee, and it was a very informative and fun two hours. A great starting point for exploring the world of coffee!
