However, the waitresses were still very friendly and quick. Beautiful location with a view of the harbor and main square.

30/05/2025: We live above this shop for a month at an airbnb, it has never been full. So one evening we decided to give it a try, caution! they seem to not like tourists there, told us ALL the already set tables were reserved (it was already 9pm) and sat us far off in the corner where the tables were not set. No napkins glasses or plates. We stayed for at least 15 minutes no one bothered bringing a menu, or plates or cutlery. So we got the message and left! Skip this and head to other restaurants nearby! Osteria Dietro L'Angolo (super friendly great food), Forte San Pietro (don't miss the tuna!), Scomposto for great value aperitifs and river side view :)

25/05/2025: Locale carino, ottimo staff preparato e accogliente ma soprattutto attentissimo alle varie intolleranze alimentari. Buono il mix di antipasti; il tortino spettacolare, buoni anche i primi e la parmigiana do radicchio. Menù ricercato e dettagliato. Buonissimo il tortino dal cuore morbido. Super consigliato. Non fanno ne carne ne pesce, tutto è freschissimo e ricercato.

Very nice and well-kept place, excellent service. Price a little above average but for the quality produced it is absolutely worth trying.

01/02/2025: ho visitato la cioccolateria di Via Marradi a Livorno, quindi non so come siano i punti vendita alla baracchina bianca e quello della "sede" in via Mondolfi all'Ardenza sempre a Livorno. La qualità dei prodotti è impressionante e io un po' di cioccolato me ne intendo avendo anche gestito un negozio di vini e cioccolato a Livorno . sono stato servito direttamente dal proprietario e cioccolatiere molto gentile, nulla di negativo da segnalare solo che la qualità si paga da Giovannini forse un po' troppo confrontandola con quella di altri artigiani o con quella "confezionata" di Slitti o Amedei Abbassate un po' i prezzi perchè non siamo al Forte XD

Unfortunately, the outdoor seating is on a very narrow street that the city doesn't close to cars in the evenings. So, it's normal for 3-4 cars to pass you at a distance of 40 cm while you eat. That's not pleasant! The city administration needs to take action, please!

The pizza in the pan is recommended, a deep but very tasty pizza, but remember to order it when you make the telephone reservation, a reservation that I recommend because the place is small and you risk not finding a place. A piece of advice to the friendly pizza chef who then gives you the bill and offers you the bitters, make a few more trays of chickpea cake, which we were told is very good but we haven't been able to taste it yet, it might end up every time.

The owner presented us with the catch of the day, very fresh and we were able to choose the recipe to our liking. The desserts made by them and the spectacular wine. The service reserved for guests is excellent, because you don't feel like just customers. The bill is definitely in line with the quality of the food and not excessive. Also worth trying is the freshly made pizza with a visible counter and oven. Must try.

05/09/2024: Very nice place in the heart of Capraia Paese, very kind and helpful staff. Super dishes, especially Totano and Octopus, but I also appreciated the meat. During my holiday I tried it several times. Passed with full marks.
