To bridge our waiting time for the ferry to Sardinia, we spent half an hour in line in front of this ice cream parlor - but it was worth it, the ice cream is excellent and the staff are very friendly and patient despite the large crowds.

Hands down, the best gelato shop in Livorno. Caprilli is in a perfect location, ideal for grabbing a gelato and enjoying it while strolling along the waterfront. The selection is huge: unique flavors, classics, pralines, chocolate, and countless desserts. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients; each flavor is carefully crafted and delicious. I also tried a cheesecake and I must say it was truly delicious, a very pleasant surprise in addition to the gelato.

Coffee Square 33

02/07/2026: One of the few specialty coffee shops in Italy. Unfortunately, we learned on June 30, 2026, that this was their last day. The shop is already closed. A real shame.
09/06/2026: As usual, I came here looking for coffee beans. They have some, but for my tastes, it's a bit pricey. I don't rule out the possibility that the roaster is a top-tier brand, but alas. I skimped on the Kenyan option :) But that doesn't spoil the impression I got from the place itself. Generally, specialty coffee shops are still marginal and unpopular in Italy, so kudos to the guys for promoting this culture to the masses who enjoy a charcoal-fueled beer. The flat white at the Ethiopian was quite decent.

09/06/2026: Stopped by chance Enireca Alcide was a truly positive surprise. Matetia prima of excellence very tasty dishes cooked to perfection varies from the menu. A gem not to be missed is the homemade naturally leavened bread and oil I had ginger meatballs and a mixed salad to lick your lips desserts made by them interesting and unique a place not to be missed
03/06/2026: In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in the Cornia Valley. Natural wines, a super, informal atmosphere, a beautiful venue, and high-quality, carefully selected ingredients. Anyone who doesn't appreciate quality or doesn't know how to value it should stay away.
