05/02/2026: I wanted to visit the New Forest, and on the way I saw this Neapolitan pastry shop. I asked if they had the lemon delight. Since it's my favorite dessert, I had to try it before leaving. They were probably all booked up, but the pastry chef granted me the favor and wrapped one up for me. I climbed up to the fortress and enjoyed a fantastic fried fish platter, also typical of Neapolitan restaurants, and finished with my favorite dessert 😍 I have to say it was truly well-made and obviously delicious.

26/11/2025: I tried the pastiera, sfogliatelle, and zeppole: delicious and beautiful to look at! And the prices are very fair!

It's the perfect place for those seeking a refined atmosphere combined with top-notch cuisine. The Atmosphere The venue is simply stunning. The modern design, with emerald green lighting and thoughtful furnishings, creates a chic yet welcoming atmosphere. The attention to seasonal details (like the illuminated Christmas tree) is beautiful, making the rooftop truly magical. The Service The welcome was impeccable. We began with an excellent Araprì sparkling wine, served at the perfect temperature in an elegant ice bucket, a touch of class that immediately kicked off the evening in the best possible way. The Cuisine: A Journey of Flavors The dishes aren't just beautiful to look at, they literally explode with flavor: • Appetizers: The modern carpaccio/veal with tuna sauce is a masterpiece of color and flavor, enriched with crunchy edible flowers, capers, and drops of sauce that perfectly balance the dish. • First course: The lobster pasta was the real star. A generous portion, incredibly fresh fish, and a rich sauce that perfectly enveloped the paccheri. The presentation was top-notch. • Dessert: To round things off, a light tiramisu served in a glass, accompanied by homemade lingua di gatto biscuits and whipped cream. The perfect conclusion to a memorable meal.

29/11/2025: I've never understood why these kinds of places use music at full volume when more attention should be paid to conviviality. It ruined my evening, which is a shame. If anything, I strongly recommend turning down the volume and choosing a more suitable musical selection. I'd suggest Livorno-based composers like Piero Ciampi, Nada, etc., for example... The food is nothing to write home about.

31/12/2025: We discovered this coffee shop by mistake on our first day in Livorno because it was on our way—and ended up coming back every single day of our stay. The cappuccino was excellent and the croissants were extremely delicious. Each day we kept adding more to our order because everything was so good. The staff were also incredibly nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.

04/03/2026: Enjoy an evening with friends in this simple yet well-kept and clean restaurant. The staff is attentive, kind, and helpful. We each had a pizza and a dessert. The pizza was good, as were the desserts...the tiramisu was excellent! I recommend it.

12/02/2026: Today I had booked a table for 5 and we ate terribly.... The food does not correspond to the price... If I have to spend 30-40 euros per person for a lunch, the quality of the food must be at the minimum, I don't say maximum... Here it was not like that😔

04/01/2026: A wonderful surprise! We ordered the tasting menu and were enchanted: excellent ingredients cooked with extreme care, impeccably presented dishes, perfect and absolutely unconventional wine pairings (with a few French gems). But the best thing is the passion of the two owner brothers, one in charge of the kitchen and the other in charge of the dining room staff. It warms the heart to see such passion and professionalism from such young people! Well done, keep up the good work, and we'll see you again soon!

28/10/2025: A place with an ancient feel and stellar flavor. For me, it's the best schiacciata I've ever tasted. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by wonderful staff, always ready to chat and give you a smile. Behind the counter, you can glimpse the workshop, with the ovens blazing and the air smelling of bread and tradition. Often, the master baker, all floured, comes out to offer mini pizzas or other freshly baked delicacies. An authentic place, where every detail exudes passion and simplicity. Truly a special place.

09/10/2025: The best bakery in Livorno. The schiacciata is indescribable, and inside, courtesy is paramount.

29/12/2025: Family-run agritourism hotel. German is spoken at reception. There are rooms and two apartments. The food in the attached restaurant is excellent. The coast is only about 6 km away. However, the real highlights of Tuscany are a 1-2 hour drive away. The hotel serves its own wine and produces its own olive oil. All in all, a wonderful stay for us. The Ornelleia vineyard is only 20 km away.

02/10/2025: We were here in August! Everything is just perfect here. The food and service are very, very good. Everyone is extremely child-friendly. You can get drinks and ice cream at the small pool bar. We highly recommend this hotel. We'll be back!

26/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel in Cavoli Bay, right on the seafront, for 4 nights. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was superb, with sweet and savory items prepared that morning. The owner, Manuela, along with her staff, Cinzia and Fabio, made us feel at home. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

05/09/2025: Hotel La Conchiglia is a wonderful, welcoming place right on the seafront. Manuela is a special person: friendly, thoughtful, and always attentive, with that naturalness that makes you feel instantly at ease. Cinzia, with her sweetness and constant smile, adds warmth and makes every moment even more enjoyable. Together with the entire staff, always kind and friendly, they truly touch the hearts of their guests and make them feel at home. The best part is breakfast, simply wonderful: homemade cakes, pizzas, focaccias, and brioches so delicious you'll want to try them all, accompanied by coffee, cappuccino, or hot milk served at your table. The tables overlook the beach, and there's also a seafront terrace, perfect for reading a good book or relaxing. Our dog was also welcomed with affection, and we spent a truly relaxing week.

31/08/2025: The history of fast food is brewery in Cecina. If you've never been, it's because you're a tourist or a traveler passing through, in which case, stop by. Excellent sandwiches. Very good and varied dishes. Always friendly and courteous.
