12/09/2025: A wonderful place, with a very large area to enjoy, two swimming pools for children and adults. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. There's a delicious restaurant on site serving regional delicacies at reasonable prices. The front desk staff is very friendly, best regards!

21/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Livorno's industrial area. Originally, it catered to local workers and dockworkers. The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality. The staff is highly trained and friendly, and the service is impeccable.

17/10/2025: Total chaos at lunchtime, waiters rushing around like mad. Long lines to get in, everyone crammed together, dishes arriving out of order. I understand the seaside town, the business lunch, and the joviality, but it's truly out of control. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.

03/10/2025: A pleasant little square with a view. I've run out of compliments. It's a blasphemy to call the €18 Tuscan DOP cured meats and cheese platter the dish they served us: two small pieces of one type of passable cheese; the cured meats were two slices of prosciutto, coppata, and salami that you can find in the supermarket for a low price. Foreign employees who are difficult to communicate with. The first courses were generous, but the gnocchi were served overcooked. To be fair, I raised my complaint at checkout, and the platter was charged half the price.

And then... a culinary experience like no other begins: professional, classy cuisine, superlative flavors that transport you through time and space. Wonderful chefs who deserve the title of chef. 24/08/2025: Five stars for a wonderful evening spent in this stunning place. Located in the center of Porto Azzurro, this wine shop offers typical Elban products, local and international wines, and a delightful aperitivo where you can enjoy, of course, a fine wine chosen in-store or recommended by the owners, platters of traditional cured meats and cheeses, a variety of bruschettone, and, to finish, a delicious Elban passito. A delightful evening and good wine.

19/09/2025: Excellent restaurant and therefore a great discovery that I recommend. The Michelin guide is right to recommend it as well. Warm welcome and good service. The room does not open to the outside but we still had a good time. As for the food: everything is excellent and fresh. They specialize in fresh fish. Great wine list. We ate very well.

12/11/2025: The place is very beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the greenery. The service on the day we went was very slow and not particularly friendly (except for the girl with braids). We ordered a Florentine steak and got a rib-eye steak, without any explanation. When I pointed this out, they told me it was true, but that they still cost the same per kilo (I don't think so, since the Florentine steak contains the fillet, which is the most valuable part, and we ordered a Florentine anyway). In the end, the girl with braids "gave us a small discount," which rather than make up for the disappointment, brought the price back to fairness, given that it was a rib-eye steak.

03/11/2025: Beautiful place, with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly, beautiful location with breathtaking views... Le Defenze wine recommended, truly organized and helpful staff, that makes the difference! We had an appetizer for two, a really good mix of bruschetta... We took a break for the second course, which was really plentiful, just the right amount, with crostini that allowed you to enjoy the Bolgheri wine with its value, then came the second course, the meat, which was the more than right choice! Two courses, for me, a fillet with truffles and to say special is an understatement! The meat was tender and cooked just as I wanted, the waiter understood correctly and took it back to the kitchen, even the second course of tagliata was perfect, the presentation of the dish was elegant and beautiful to look at!! We chose the terrace to enjoy the view even if the weather wasn't the best... ps the meat was always hot even if we were outside, we enjoyed it!! Definitely going back tomorrow, best restaurant in Bolgheri! Thank you all. Carol and Jacque

19/10/2025: An excellent lunch to round off our Elba Island holiday. A unique place with a unique decor. The staff are all young and super friendly. Delicious dishes, top-notch cod and superb fried food!!! Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: I found everything a bit expensive for the food I received. I would have liked a better description of the dishes prepared by the waiters. Even the desserts. You're ordering a bit by chance... Overall, it was enjoyable. I wouldn't return.

08/09/2025: Quality and goodness: We dined here while in Risignano. The sunset view was phenomenal. The dishes, from the appetizer (a good portion given the quality of the ingredients), to the first courses (where instead of the mezze maniche we received a tube with mushrooms, a new experience), to the superior house wine, and the music selection, which was excellent for us. Very nice place.

07/12/2025: The restaurant is located right in the center of Bolgheri, a small village famous for its food and wine, so I ate very well with excellent quality products!!! Good service and a very friendly owner!!! Highly recommended!!!!

07/12/2025: I dare say I spent a wonderful Sunday in Bolgheri. A fairytale village! But the best part was having lunch at Mr. Michele Innocenti's Enoteca. A delight for the palate. Starting with the maltagliati with hare, ravioli with butter and sage, ravioli with butter and crispy rigatino, slow-cooked artichokes with ricotta ribollita mousse, mixed crostini with good wine, and cantucci with Vin Santo. A well-kept restaurant, the staff are professional and never intrusive, always attentive. I recommend it if you have a free day! Visit Bolgheri and have lunch or dinner at this Enoteca, it's truly worth it. The motto is "Central wine bar, center of your taste buds."

21/10/2025: Pizza? Decent. The rest? The bread was more days old than last week's calendar. The glass looked like it had just been in battle. Twenty minutes to order—we had time to memorize the menu. The cover charge? Not listed on the menu. Surprise! But it's all understandable: the staff is so stressed it's almost touching. Luckily, the season is over. For them, and for us.
