Wonderful, yes. The food is divine, and the staff is attentive, explaining the dishes, and offering advice. August 7, 2026 We returned last night for dinner on our way back from Elba Island. Any opportunity to stop and eat at Mangiafuoco is a good one! The quality, the aromas, the flavor of the fresh, delicious fish, and even some very welcome new dishes. FRANCESCA, with her colors, depicted the dishes as we would see them plated, and with the love she puts into describing the dishes, she took us into the preparation process, listing the times and ingredients that would define the dish. We are amazed every time, because it's not just the cooking itself, but the love that goes into preparing the dishes is conveyed, and above all, there's a careful selection of ingredients. It's a pleasure to choose from the dishes, letting yourself be transported from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and desserts in a continuity of truly high-level quality. I wouldn't want to leave out the wine; we let the staff guide us, and as usual, we experimented with new wines: intense aromas, clarity, complexity, and clean olfactory clarity, harmonious flavors, balance, and aromatic persistence. As a Mexican who travels and eats all over the world, I've been coming to Piombino for years, where I spend my summer holidays year after year. This restaurant embodies the succulent flavors of Tuscan seafood cuisine. I truly commend the consistency of the flavors, which last year after year. I take my hat off to the owner's commitment to quality.

Absolutely loved this place! The reputation of their octopus is completely deserved: it was tender, flavorful, and easily one of the best I've ever had. Every seafood dish we tried was fresh and delicious. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the amazing service. The dining room team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. They were always happy to help with recommendations and made sure everything was perfect. If you're a seafood lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, fantastic service, and an experience I'll happily repeat.
