04/08/2026: The pizzas were good, although sometimes a little burnt. As you can see in the photo, I had a bufalina pizza, but it was a bit oddly shaped—they served it crooked and not round. But let's leave that aside because it's the least of it. The pizza was good, so there's nothing to complain about. I can't say the same for the service. The waiter seemed to forget and mix up the orders. We had to repeat the pizzas three times, and he added one more than was supposed to, which he corrected by repeating all the pizzas again, of course. The restaurant has very few fans and is mostly located in the outdoor space called the "garden." It's basically a few tables set up on the sidewalk. There's also a gazebo, but it doesn't really matter. It's sweltering hot, sweat dripping from everywhere, and the service is incredibly slow. The service was slightly quicker than last time, but we still had a wait of over half an hour, even without appetizers. Aleci has been around for decades, and over the years they've failed to renew themselves by improving their service, perhaps with an air-conditioned gazebo and faster service, with waiters worthy of their name. It's become a place for mere tourists to lure in, what a shame.

13/07/2026: A pleasant surprise: excellent food prepared with genuine ingredients and served in generous portions. Each dish showcases the flavors of local tradition. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking good food, hospitality, and an authentic atmosphere.

02/05/2026: Nice to see but 15 minutes is more than enough time. Considering that it is advertised as a place of historical importance, the facilities could be maintained but the mills are in a state of disrepair

01/05/2026: You should write down the salt pans' closing time somewhere, as we arrived at 6:30 PM and the clerk at the salt shop said we had to return the next day. It was easy for her, as we were coming from Palermo. The internet says you can tour independently, but they told us only guided tours and that we could return. The kids were very disappointed, and so were we, after all this time. It's a shame.

06/06/2026: Superb experience... great welcome, exceptional food and service. Try everything: arancini, panini, pane cunzato, parmigiana, anelletti, granitas, and then in the evening the amazing busiate alla trapanese or alla norma.
