23/08/2024: Food was decent. We ordered the fish couscous and it was nice. I ordered the pasta with pesto trapanese and the pasta was raw. The shape was busiata, I was on my trip in Italy for 2 months, and I’ve eaten this shape lots of times. It had all the markings of being undercooked, it sticks to your teeth, it is white in the center. When I called the waiter, they had the audacity of saying “in Italy the pasta is not too cooked”, or “busiata can’t be too cooked”. What is this nonsense? Pasta shapes don’t contribute to the feeling of being undercooked. I know what all dente is. I make my own fresh pasta. I asked them to try it, but they refused, and said we can only get you spaghetti instead and not busiata. I said I would like busiata, but they were like no. They were so proud and arrogant and mumbling Italian to themselves in discontent I didn’t feel heard. I tried explaining that I know pasta and I make pasta myself, and that the center is white, indicating it is raw. But no, just arrogance from the staff. Moreover, portion sizes for the price are just ridiculous. Is the food tasty, yeah. Is it worth it? I probably won’t go there again. I would really love them to see this review to actually use the feedback and do something with it.

I would like to thank Gianni and his staff for being the soul of an event that I will hardly forget. Without him everything would have had a different "taste".

31/07/2024: Wij vroegen of we hier alleen een drankje konden nuttigen. Dat kon, geen probleem. Wij 2 biertjes besteld, menukaart doorgenomen om misschien die avond terug te komen en biertjes opgedronken en de rekening gevraagd. Waar wij erg van schrokken. Biertjes €12,- en servicekosten €6,- totaal €18,- We zeiden nog dat wij dit belachelijk vonden voor 2 biertjes te brengen, maar moesten dit wel betalen. Oplichters zijn het. Uiteraard gaan wij hier nooit meer terug.

30/08/2024: Primo giorno di ferie, siamo capitati per caso in questa trattoria su consiglio di un passante....abbiamo cenato fuori sul sagrato di una chiesa, atmosfera bellissima, servizio eccellente, primi e secondi ottimi e di qualità. Locale consigliatissimo!

21/08/2024: Disappointing experience at the Rotisserie Bar Our experience at Bar Rosticerria was decidedly negative. We ordered several dishes, including chicken with potatoes, a panelle sandwich and an arancini, but none of these lived up to expectations. The chicken was dry and dry, accompanied by a side of potatoes which consisted of a tiny portion, insufficient for a satisfying meal. The panelle sandwich, although the panelle was reasonably good, was accompanied by old, dry bread, which ruined the entire dish. Finally, the arancini were equally disappointing: dry, with overcooked rice, and without flavour. The service did not improve the situation. Although the waitress was friendly, she was not professional at all. After paying €1.50 for the cover charge, we expected at least a minimum of service, but we found ourselves having to set the table ourselves with paper placemats and bagged cutlery which were simply left on the table. Furthermore, even those who only had an arancina or a panelle sandwich were made to pay a cover charge, which we believe is not very correct. The owner's behavior was unacceptable. We were a large group and, instead of demonstrating patience and courtesy, he behaved rudely and rudely towards us customers. Such an attitude is not acceptable in any establishment, especially one that should welcome customers with professionalism and respect. We will never return and do not recommend the Bar Rosticceria to anyone. The owner would be better off considering a change of job.

17/08/2024: Polite and kind staff except the owner who seemed arrogant and not very friendly, the food was terrible. I had been there other years and the food was much better and plentiful now and it was a real disappointment, I don't recommend it!!

20/04/2024: Terrible quality/price ratio. After more than an hour of waiting we were served a dish with a skimpy cutlet (which only had the name of a Palermo entrecôte) with a side dish of grilled vegetables which in total were, yes or no, 5 pieces. No wine...no desserts...no coffee and all for a total of €26.50 each!!!!! We will not return nor will we ever recommend it.

14/04/2024: We came across this restaurant by chance. We were deliciously entertained by the owner, who previously lived in Switzerland for many years. He also speaks German and told us about life in Marsala. We were there on a Sunday afternoon when it was actually closed. He simply offered us a seat and we ate wonderfully. 100 percent recommended even for spoiled palates👍🌷

11/08/2024: Good informal pizzeria located on the main street of the centre. Friendly staff. Fast service. In summer prices fly a bit.

17/08/2024: Last week I went to this pizzeria, finally I would say from what I've heard about it! Pizz'art immediately amazed me with its modern and well-kept furnishings and the staff, all super kind and helpful, we immediately felt at home! There were 7 of us, we took different pizzas, all delicious but the ones with fish were really special! We didn't miss out on starters and desserts, which were equally good. An experience absolutely worth repeating! Highly recommended.

29/08/2024: There were two of us, we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The appetizer was a pepper of HORRIBLE mussels, most of them raw, unseasoned and closed. The flavor was anything but that of mussels. The service was almost completely absent, only two waiters. We left before the first ones arrived. Not recommended.

27/05/2024: For work I often go to the Trapani area, today I stopped to return home with the good bread from Castelvetrano. I couldn't have made a better stop, the Gullo bakery not only offers spectacular bread, but many goodies to delight the palate. I will return with pleasure.

16/04/2024: I purchased yesterday, April 15, 2024. Delicious bread and a wide variety of artisanal biscuits. The lady was very kind and helpful. Advised!

31/07/2024: The demonstration of how it is not easy to eat good fish in Mazara… Long waiting times (about 1 hour and 20 minutes, after two reminders given the presence of children). Cous Cous with fried calamari on top (never seen before) and broth probably coming from mussel soup. Spaghetti with prawns and clams in which the pink prawn was clearly frozen; to our complaint that the prawn was "hard" (we wanted to be polite) the waiter's response was "because it is fresh", therefore also the mockery...both the consistency and the loss of volume were a clear indication of a frozen product.
