15/04/2025: Looking for a restaurant open on a Sunday lunchtime near the temple of Segesta, we chose this one in desperation, the only one open despite the less than encouraging reviews. Unfortunately, we can only confirm: more than an hour of waiting to be served (5 pasta/risotto dishes), really ordinary dishes, inedible frozen mushrooms, risotto made with classic rice and not arborio, dishes too salty. The atmosphere is indeed a bit gloomy. Note, however, the friendly servers who seemed very embarrassed by the situation. Added to that are excessive prices, including the most expensive cover price we encountered during our 10 days in Sicily (€2.5/cover). To flee!

23/01/2025: Ottima pizza, tagliata a quadratini come mi spiegava il titolare, tradizione tipica trapanese, servizio eccellente anche se in una pizza mancava il pomodoro aggiuntivo, ma non siamo schizzinosi e quindi ce la siamo mangiati senza se e senza ma, ottima pizza veramente, bel locale anche se piccolino e posizione suggestiva

03/04/2025: Devo ammettere che volevamo andare in un altro posto, ma siccome fuori stagione molto è ancora chiuso, dopo aver valutato ciò che era aperto, siamo finiti qui. Ordiniamo acqua frizzante e mezzo litro di vino della casa, ci arriva acqua naturale (poco importa) e 0,7 di vino (e chi si lamenta). Caponata di melanzano ottima. Zuppa di cozze, ci mancava un pò l'essere zuppa, ma comunque ottima. Busiate spada e melanzana, ottima. Per finire cassatina. Io come posto lo consiglio.

01/04/2025: I can't imagine how you can give a rating lower than 5. Come for the mussels (cozze). They are incredible 😍 They are so fresh and delicious as if they had just come out of the sea 5 minutes earlier 😍. And other dishes too :)

29/09/2024: I had lunch last week in the restaurant of this hotel in Scopello. The large dining room is beautiful and welcoming with large windows overlooking the sea below. Thanks to the diligence and attention of the young man who welcomed us, we we are seated in a small terrace, almost intimate, under a pergola of green climbing plants full of leaves, with a magnificent 180° view of the sea, as a background, while in the foreground, looking further down, the image of the raised tower on a rock overlooking the sea, the former tuna fishery and the stacks that enclosed a segment of water with colors that varied from light blue to aquamarine to clear green enhanced the view and recreated the spirit. The palate was satisfied from the first courses: a colorful salad of oranges and tuna bresaola, where a rich diced fruit was crowned with fish leaves, truly tasty and a citrus amberjack tartare also enriched with melon, original and excellent . Afterwards we delighted in swordfish in a sesame crust and caramelized onion with an enveloping and satisfying flavour, and the larded sea bass fillet which surprised us with the simplicity and flavor of the truly fabulous sauce. N.B.: larded has no reference to lard. To finish, some hot homemade cassatine which completed the meal perfectly. The rich and curious menu and an extensive and curated wine list can attract and satisfy every diner. The attentive, rapid and professional service, combined with courtesy, kindness and availability are qualities that elevate the wonderful work of the kitchen and the search for the best raw materials. Congratulations to the owner and her nephew who welcome guests with an elegance and style that, in most cases, has now been lost. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back. Marisa and Marco

03/10/2024: Ristorante bar molto carino proprio sul mare. Abbiamo preso cuscus con polpo, tonno con melanzane, parmigiana e cannoli. Il pesce non era un gran che ed il servizio un po' pressante...ci hanno tolto il bicchiere di vino ancora da finire per proporcene un secondo...calma. Il cannolo buono Il cuscus in foto 25 euro.

01/10/2024: One of the few places on Pantelleria, almost on the sea, just outside the town of Pantelleria, excellent beers, good food, serves in the morning, lunch and dinner, this time we also had 2 consecutive live music evenings, with truly remarkable Sicilian artists. The managers, Rita (especially) and Maurizio (a little less so - but you can work with them :D) are very welcoming and know how to do their job well, and then a place that plays live music, by the sea, in the summer, and that sells you t-shirts with their logo, but would you rather not go there!? Unmissable.

07/02/2025: Trattoria a gestione famigliare , la signora Pina è un ottima padrona di casa, se sei indeciso su cosa mangiare fatti consigliare da lei, sarai soddisfatto. Siamo rimasti una settimana in paese e abbiamo cenato da loro ben 4 volte, ci hanno sempre accolti con calore e serviti sempre con cortesia e sorrisi. Abbiamo sempre cercato di ordinare piatti della tradizione e siamo stati accontentati alla grande, tutto ottimo e abbondante, buonissimi i cannoli a fine pasto che Salvatore riempiva a più non posso! Grazie per l'ospitalità
