19/10/2024: 1 star because I can't give less, I order 2 pizzas for home delivery on Just eat at 8.50pm it's 11pm they haven't arrived yet, I call them at 10pm we're about to put them in the oven and at 10.40pm we're taking them out of the oven i.e. go ahead and take the piss..., not at all professional, we didn't like the pizzas by the way but this concerns our tastes but they arrived burnt. Sin.

16/02/2025: Ristorante in una location molto suggestiva, silenziosa, pulita e ben curata. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati e ben presentati, piacevoli e gustosi. Bella idea quella di includere nel coperto una porzione di olio locale di ottima qualità da gustare con del buon pane. Ottimi il servizio e la carta dei vini. Il titolare è stato molto gentile. Consiglio la torta dei frati con gelato alla vaniglia.

The prices are not displayed (and when they happen it is never a good omen, and in fact...) on a menu written on a blackboard, which is brought by the waiter. A cut of meat (in small quantities and a little overcooked), a seafood risotto and a bottle of water: 50 euros.

31/01/2025: This is our go to when we are around Giaratana, it's a genuine hidden gem, excellent pizza with some lovely traditional caponata and peppers on the side (when available). The staff are great and are happy to help. We will be back. The way pizza should be quality without bullshit. 💪

24/03/2025: There is another boss here who knows his craft. For him the guest is a king. The employees at the reception, in the dining room and even the cleaning lady on the floor are all very friendly and have a nice word to say. The hotel is clean and nice. Compliment.

Robe da matti..da tanti anni che conosco il locale non ritornerò più... appena vedono delle rimpatriate aumentano i prezzi a modo loro! Altamente sconsigliato

16/01/2025: Uno dei due ristoranti all'esterno del Castello di Donnafugata: semplice, poco affollato, ordinato e senza fronzoli, l'accoglienza e la spiegazione dei cibi è ottima e con lo stesso aggettivo posso definirne la qualità.

30/09/2024: Semplicemente favoloso, di diritto nelle mia top 3 delle gelaterie preferite. Alla base di tutto materie prime di primissima qualità; basta assaggiare gusti come sesamo, carruba o ricotta e fichi per rimanere colpiti dalla bontà e delicatezza di questi gelati. Aggiungi cordialità e simpatia al bancone (Elisabetta spero di ricordarmi giustamente il nome!!) che non gusta mai. Da non tralasciare le opzioni di gusti vegani. Assolutamente da provare la brioche con gelato alle mandorle....WOW!! Se ricapito da quelle parti obbligatorio passare da voi per un gelato...magari due!!

11/09/2024: Preso più volte il gelato in questo locale quasi nascosto al centro di Scicli! Che dire… la squisitezza dei gestori si sposa appieno con un gelato veramente top, in tutti i gusti che ho provato (consigliati quelli siciliani!). La coppetta da 3,50 euro è poi molto abbondante… bravi!

15/02/2025: September 2022 - I forgot to post this review. Pastry shop found very by chance as it was raining and we were looking for a place to have a snack. The place is not that big, but the coffee is good, the cannoli was fresh and delicate. Friendly staff and definitely excellent price.

28/10/2024: abbiamo individuato questo locale per caso ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. il locale ha una veranda esterna e delle sale interne ed è possibile mangiare o panini insalate E piatti unici. i panini che abbiamo preso erano buoni e i prezzi nella media. consigliato

06/10/2024: Absolute gem of a spot - amazing natural wine list (of which the team has a deep knowledge, and can tell you about each and every one) and a menu of inventive takes on classics as well as fusion dishes taking inspiration from around the world. Had a brisket sandwich with sesame slaw and barbecue sauce made with vinegar of Nero d’Avola - insane. You can tell the young couple behind the restaurant put their heart into this place.
