11/06/2025: Been there with my family to visit the "fattojo", i. e., the place where they show how to make the chocolate from bean to bar. The visit was worth the trip: the two ladies showed us the the process of making the real Modica chocolate, explaining also how to roast, peel and grind the beans...interleaving the experience with sweet treats, from the cold chocolate to the chocolate flavored spirit at the end. Definitely worth visiting!

01/05/2025: Sempre perennemente affollata. Impossibile provare il cioccolato, ma, data la calca di turisti, deve essere acquistato tutto a scatola chiusa. Le tavolette da 50gr vanno approssimativamente dai €2,80 ai €4,40. I tour esperienziali devono essere necessariamente prenotati in anticipo. Buona la cioccolata fredda a €3,50 e la cassatina al pistacchio a €5,50.

07/07/2025: Dinner with friends on the occasion of my wedding anniversary. Family welcome, relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant immersed in the Modica countryside. The artisanal salmon ravioli were delicious, the pasta with tenerumi with an ancient flavor, excellent as always the mixed fried fish. The surprise of the cake purchased on the spur of the moment from the restaurant owner without our knowledge was appreciated. A beautiful evening with the family.

13/07/2025: Abbiamo partecipato a un evento a Torre Palazzelle e ne siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. La location è mozzafiato: una torre storica immersa nella campagna modicana, perfetta per creare un’atmosfera elegante e autentica. L’organizzazione dell’evento è stata impeccabile. Ogni dettaglio era curato con grande professionalità e passione. Lo staff è stato attento, disponibile e sempre pronto ad accogliere ogni esigenza con un sorriso. Un luogo ideale per matrimoni, feste private o eventi aziendali. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un’esperienza unica in un contesto raffinato e ricco di fascino.

06/01/2025: Beautiful New Year's Eve, great food, super entertainment and everything taken care of in an elegant and professional way. On January 5th I celebrated my daughter's 18th, abundant and delicious buffet, the dessert buffet taken care of in every detail with the addition of the chocolate fountain. The owners always available, kind and welcoming. The staff very professional and ready for our every request.

01/01/2025: A truly well organized New Year's Eve evening, excellent dinner for both the fish and meat menus. The dessert buffet is rich after midnight. The performance of the engaging animator is satisfactory, with 70s music, 80's, 90's

20/06/2025: We only been in the bar, had orange juices and the delicious tea granita with lemon taste. It was very good. The service was great, the waiter spoke English and introduced the tea with granita to us. Thank you.

24/03/2025: I was here for lunch. The place was half empty, so in theory I shouldn't have waited. And instead... I arrived and the black guy at the reception was too busy with his computer to say good morning and welcome me. After a while he wakes up and welcomes me and asks me to wait a second. I start the stopwatch on my watch, 4 minutes pass, where I remain standing. I was about to leave when he asks me if I wanted to sit down (I wanted to tell him: no, I'm staying standing, I have to grow up). I sit down and, instead of giving me the menu so I can at least decide what to have and fill the time (the basics of welcoming in a restaurant) they make me wait another 5 minutes this time. Still with my watch on my wrist (I remember the place being half empty). After a while a waiter arrives who is decidedly more alert and asks him if he had asked me what I wanted to drink. From behind the counter, the usual computer-loving guy asks me out loud: still or sparkling? Just like we were at the stadium. Luckily, at least the meal was decent. The waiter who was older than the others was really good at his job. In the end, though, three waiters asked me if I wanted a dessert or a coffee. They lack a bit of organization because it is a question that should be asked once, not three times.

06/08/2025: Friendly staff. They speak a little English. Prices are reasonable. The sandwiches and arancini taste good.

14/04/2025: A piece of advice Regarding the staff, don't put your hands in your mouth, and then serve people without gloves, the underside of the black nails is really shabby, I will never stop in this place to eat again, the eye wants its part, even the desire to eat has passed.

08/07/2025: Location affascinante. Ma solo quella. Il cibo discreto. Nulla di strabiliante. Anche il servizio lascia a desiderare. Ma è da capire data la presenza di un solo cameriere. Tutto migliorabile insomma.

23/06/2025: Un esperienza da provare. Un piccolo viaggio culinario all’interno degli splendidi giardini Iblei: cena ottima, personale cortese e location unica. Consigliato per tutti quelli che vogliono provare l’esperienza di vedere e vivere la propria città dal punto di vista di un turista!

10/08/2025: Our stay at the Continental was impeccable in every way. Thorough daily housekeeping, with daily towel changes, and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied, catering to all tastes. Our new and well-appointed room ensured comfort and tranquility. The hotel has ample parking and a always clean and well-equipped swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. Special praise goes to the owner and all the staff: friendly, helpful, and always ready to satisfy every request promptly. The value for money is truly a plus, making this hotel a winning choice. The prompt and attentive service made our stay in Pozzallo even more enjoyable. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and authentic hospitality.

15/08/2025: Fresh, excellently cooked fish. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the churches and Piazza Italia. The young, friendly, and knowledgeable wait staff are incredibly helpful.

13/08/2025: We dined on the beautiful terrace overlooking the square. The atmosphere was relaxing, although at the end of the meal we had the impression of being in a restaurant designed specifically to tempt foreign tourists. The service was good; they even let us taste two wines before choosing the one for the evening. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, but the way they're prepared isn't; the presentation is the best. The roasted octopus was good, but the pasta with sardines (which we know well, since we're all Sicilian) was completely saltless and tasteless; we had to order salt to eat it. The other first course, pasta with baby squid, was flavorless. One of us ordered the catch of the day (garfish), and a small plate arrived with four tiny pieces of fish, a few cherry tomatoes, and a few olives, no other side dishes, all for €22. The mini cassata for dessert was average. The quality-price ratio (and quantity) could be improved.

18/05/2025: Avevamo l'appuntamento alle 21,30 siamo arrivati in orario ci siamo accomodati,dopo mezz'ora di attesa sono venuti per la comanda,dopo ancora mezz'ora si presenta la cameriera e ci informa che era finito il pomodoro, certo non è stato bello visto che era già l'ora tardi e molti di noi avevamo nella pizza il pomodoro,ma come si può in una pizzeria finire il pomodoro!!!! Abbiamo terminato alle 24,30, brutta esperienza non ci torneremo più!!!!
