12/10/2025: Pros: - The beach was really good and clean - Room was very clean Cons: - No internet in the room (!) - Broken amenities in the room - Check-in only available in Italian - Booked a triple room and got a twin room - Extra charge for everything that was available - Poor breakfast; if something was missing, it never came back - Very poor coffee quality - Coffee machines (you can get better ones for a fee) - Spa for an additional charge - Parking always full - First row of beach seats for an additional charge in October - There's actually nothing nearby, so choosing that without a car is pointless

11/10/2025: We stayed at the Modica Beach Resort during the off-season. Since we travel a lot, we read some reviews this time, which are generally quite positive. We don't know what it's like in the high season, so we obviously can't speak for that period. First, the location: The hotel is truly in an absolutely wonderful location, right on the beach. It truly deserves 5 stars. The fact that the waves were quite high the first few days and it was almost impossible to get into the water isn't anyone's fault. The last few days, the sea was absolutely calm and it couldn't have been better. The rooms: We had a deluxe room facing the garden. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The garden was an absolute joke and the hedge was so high that you couldn't see the open space behind it. There would have been room for a larger garden with a low hedge without any problems. I would give it 3 points for cleanliness. It was more of a quick fix than clean. The TV didn't have any German channels, and the smart TV didn't work at all. No stable WiFi connection. Now, the food. If you're looking for good Italian cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. The room is really coldly lit and extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast is pretty monotonous. Canned and unpeeled fruit. There's no variety of cold cuts. Endless sweets...but those with a sweet tooth will probably still find something to their liking. The coffee shouldn't be called coffee; it's more like dishwater than coffee. You can buy "real" coffee on site if you like. The dinner is an absolute disaster...we were wondering if the chef was on vacation and that's why we've read some positive reviews about the food. Everything is more or less tasteless and completely uninspiring. A real shame, since Italy is actually one of the countries with good cuisine. All in all, we can say the location is great, the food is a flop.

16/09/2025: Realy a very good pizza. Very good service, very good food, short waiting time and there is a very nice and kind boy who serves you. I mean, if you want to eat quickly, well and tasty, this is the place to go.

27/07/2025: This isn't just one of Modica's historic pizzerias, but one that has maintained and strengthened its quality, speed, and friendliness over the years. Here you'll find these three components, which in my opinion often prove to be its strength. You know that in this pizzeria, everything is quality; you'll be served with a smile, and their experience in the industry means they're very quick. Mine was a takeaway with two free cans of Coke... small but important gestures... you can't go wrong here... 🔝

07/11/2025: Good food, a great atmosphere. Small, easily surmountable imperfections would have led me to give the service and food a more positive rating. Forgetting a requested dish might be a coincidence, but it requires greater attention to the service chain. The éclair cream puff is excellent, but to reach a truly attainable height, the filling accompanying the strawberries should be a Chantilly cream, given the availability of fresh milk in the area. In short, a little effort would make everything fit the setting. The price is in line with the setting, so it's not cheap, but not excessive either.

The event was held outdoors, and despite the wind, Serena, Massimo, and their entire fantastic staff were responsive, attentive, and always ready to make us feel at ease. We ate divinely, and every dish was delicious, meticulously crafted, and served with great professionalism. Thanks to them all, our celebration was perfect, full of joy and worry-free.

01/08/2025: You can find almost everything you need. I couldn't find anyone to ask about the wines found there, I was interested in asking which ones were dry and which were sweet, but overall OK.

28/07/2025: I bought prepared food from the supermarket's deli. Delicious and affordable! 🍝🍗 Everything is calculated by weight (for example, lasagna is €0.99 per 100g!) 👍🏻 Recommended if you want to grab some food to go without spending a lot.

02/11/2025: The atmosphere seemed very nice... until a waitress started explaining things. Although the food was disappointing for me, it was even more so when the fried food arrived cold and hard to chew. Let alone the appetizers, which were overly prepared and lacked the true authenticity of the products that the province of Ragusa boasts. In short, a forced gourmet experience without art or part, removed from my list forever...

08/10/2025: Gluten-free pizzas🤩 (separate pizza oven/kitchen) Great pizzas, both gluten-free and regular, really tasty and reasonably priced with excellent service.

28/04/2025: I went to this place for an event where there was pizza... For goodness sake the pizza dough was really good. Too bad only for the combinations of toppings, in my opinion not very convincing, not to mention the fact that they brought us two similar pizzas with a white base and pistachio and the difference was that one had mortadella and one didn't, but still... Even the flambé pizza, more show than taste. In short, with such a good dough and a bit of a shame in my opinion.

18/09/2025: I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat truly excellent food, both in quality and flavor. We were invited thinking it was just a pizzeria, because of the excellent pizzas, but beyond the pizzas and the dishes on the menu, we chose one from the seasonal menu that includes several seafood appetizers (photos of which are posted), truly delicious and at a very reasonable price. I'm not sure if the photos do it justice because we had already started eating. It also includes a marinated shrimp with lime and nocepesca (which I couldn't photograph), a truly generous trio of smoked meats, a swordfish caponata, a shrimp cocktail and seafood salad, and a delicious fried calamari... A stunning location in a town that has perhaps been overlooked until now... If you go to visit the Loggia del Sinatra in the evening, I recommend eating at La Bottega. The staff is truly friendly!
