08/10/2025: Delicious pizza and you can order it at any time of the day. The staff is very friendly! The prices are good, I paid 2 pizza Diavola with 2 coke only 18 euros. I came 2 times here and I'm planing to come again. I recomend this place!

12/10/2025: Pros: - The beach was really good and clean - Room was very clean Cons: - No internet in the room (!) - Broken amenities in the room - Check-in only available in Italian - Booked a triple room and got a twin room - Extra charge for everything that was available - Poor breakfast; if something was missing, it never came back - Very poor coffee quality - Coffee machines (you can get better ones for a fee) - Spa for an additional charge - Parking always full - First row of beach seats for an additional charge in October - There's actually nothing nearby, so choosing that without a car is pointless

11/10/2025: We stayed at the Modica Beach Resort during the off-season. Since we travel a lot, we read some reviews this time, which are generally quite positive. We don't know what it's like in the high season, so we obviously can't speak for that period. First, the location: The hotel is truly in an absolutely wonderful location, right on the beach. It truly deserves 5 stars. The fact that the waves were quite high the first few days and it was almost impossible to get into the water isn't anyone's fault. The last few days, the sea was absolutely calm and it couldn't have been better. The rooms: We had a deluxe room facing the garden. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The garden was an absolute joke and the hedge was so high that you couldn't see the open space behind it. There would have been room for a larger garden with a low hedge without any problems. I would give it 3 points for cleanliness. It was more of a quick fix than clean. The TV didn't have any German channels, and the smart TV didn't work at all. No stable WiFi connection. Now, the food. If you're looking for good Italian cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. The room is really coldly lit and extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast is pretty monotonous. Canned and unpeeled fruit. There's no variety of cold cuts. Endless sweets...but those with a sweet tooth will probably still find something to their liking. The coffee shouldn't be called coffee; it's more like dishwater than coffee. You can buy "real" coffee on site if you like. The dinner is an absolute disaster...we were wondering if the chef was on vacation and that's why we've read some positive reviews about the food. Everything is more or less tasteless and completely uninspiring. A real shame, since Italy is actually one of the countries with good cuisine. All in all, we can say the location is great, the food is a flop.

07/10/2025: A wonderful restaurant with an oriental ambiance, a spacious outdoor area, beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. The food is very good, although you should ask directly if you don't want your meat cooked English-style. The service is attentive and English-speaking. The prices are very fair, despite the luxurious impression.

25/07/2025: This was my first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. I'd been obsessed for a while with trying something different and satisfying my curiosity about this type of cuisine. I can say we were very satisfied with both the quality, flavors, and the quantity. Since it was our first time, we chose the menu with 6 half portions (plus entree and small pastries) that you see in the photo. And let's just say they're not very HALF portions, because you still eat well! I think the price is absolutely right for the service and quality. We also had a tasting of 4 wines (a bit demanding for someone like me who drinks a glass with dinner) with the entire meal, and I think it's essential to fully savor the whole meal! We'd love to return, but I'd eat à la carte to try some special dishes not on this menu! Definitely worth a try!

14/09/2025: Disappointment. We ordered mixed fried food, which arrived without salt. Two piadinas, one of which was Snow White with almond flakes instead of coconut. The other was Nutellosa and arrived without Kinder cereal and white chocolate topping. The kebab was good.

06/01/2026: A certainty. I confirm my previous review. I returned shortly before Christmas and enjoyed the chef's dishes for four evenings. Given the particularly rough seas during those days, which is always a factor when craving fresh fish, I opted for meat dishes. So, ricotta ravioli with pork sauce (excellent), spaghetti with Sicilian pesto (my favorite, ordered twice), and mezze maniche alla norma. For main courses, traditional pork (lean, tender, and flavorful), black pig sausage (I specifically asked the chef to make it crispy), and rabbit Ragusa-style. For side dishes, I chose spinach, oil, and lemon, and grilled zucchini. On the last evening, at the chef's recommendation, I ordered grilled cuttlefish and was tempted by the chips (with the skin). For dessert, on two evenings, I opted for cassatina and always finished with an excellent passito. On two evenings, the chef's homemade bread was available. Regarding wines, I had the Frappato on two evenings, the Etna red once, and the last time the organic Inzolia. The average price was €65; since I was alone, the wine always determined the price. Thanks to the helpfulness of the people at the adjacent tables, I was able to have pleasant conversations, relying on Google Translate for my poor English.

12/09/2025: The location is beautiful, but it's a shame about the service and the food. You can feel the tiredness of the staff... excessive slowness, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Tables that no one cleared, and plates that came out of the kitchen one at a time... things ordered that never arrived... in short, there's work to be done. The prices are low but ultimately nothing special... pasta overcooked, meatballs that didn't hold together, bruschetta so thin that the compote on top melted the bread and you couldn't even pick them up with your hands!!! Except for the parmigiana, which was excellent!

04/11/2025: As soon as we arrived in Modica, we took a stroll through Modica Sorda, and had breakfast at this place. The products were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had the ricotta cannoli... What can I say? It was pure ecstasy.

14/04/2025: We booked by phone at the last minute, but already by phone you understand the care and attention towards the customer. I saw really interesting and well prepared dishes being served. I ate an appetizer of artichokes and roasted mushrooms which were cooked and very tasty. A 1kg steak cooked to perfection and a simple but truly tasty orange salad that complemented the tasty meat, all accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Donnafugata cellars. Excellent experience

14/04/2025: We booked by phone at the last minute, but even over the phone, you can tell the care and attention they give to their customers. I saw truly interesting and well-prepared dishes served. I had an appetizer of roasted artichokes and mushrooms, cooked to perfection and very tasty. A 1kg steak was cooked to perfection, and a simple but truly flavorful orange salad complemented the delicious meat. All accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Donnafugata cellars. An excellent experience.
