18/11/2025: If you're visiting the village of Monterosso Almo, I recommend making a reservation at this delightful trattoria. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and you can enjoy a magnificent view. You'll find traditional dishes like ricotta ravioli with pork sauce, pappardelle with mushrooms, an excellent mixed roast, and, to finish, the unmissable cannoli with local ricotta. The service is excellent; you'll be greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Parking is available in the square or on the ring road. You can also take a relaxing stroll through the village's ancient streets and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

17/10/2025: Aesthetically, the hotel is beautiful, but our experience wasn't the best. When I booked, I wasn't given any options for choosing a room. When we arrived, we were assigned a ground-floor room with a lock that wouldn't lock from the inside, leaving the room open. So, they assigned us the room next door, practically next to the reception, with all the noise you can imagine from early morning until late at night. The icing on the cake was the shower hose that wasn't in its holder because it was broken (obviously, showering with only one hand because the other has to hold the water jet isn't ideal). We reported this and were told they would fix it. What can I say? When we returned at the end of the day, the situation was the same. The next morning, when we left, we reported it again and were told that yes, they knew it was broken. Now I say, I don't think this is behavior typical of a 4-star hotel, I don't even think it's one-star.

08/10/2025: A structure that does not deserve more than 3 stars ... shower with a handheld showerhead because it is broken ... limescale and dirt on the shower edges ... sink without a plug to block the water ... disgusting toilet rim ... plus the bathroom has no window ... empty mini bar ... and on the floor a power strip ... breakfast is mediocre and poor ... we arrived after 8:15 and it was not replaced where empty ... entrance with broken and missing tiles ... staff a bit slow. I will not return.

01/10/2025: What a gem this bar in Modica is! 🌟 As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a smile and a welcoming atmosphere, meticulously maintained. The desserts are irresistible and made with fresh, quality ingredients and all the authentic flavor of Sicilian tradition. Every bite was a little surprise that won me over from the first moment. But the real star is the granita: simply exceptional! Creamy, fresh, full of flavor... one of the best I've ever had. The staff is exceptionally kind, always attentive and available to recommend the best. It's one of those places that makes you want to return again and again. If you're in Modica, stop here: you won't regret it!

26/08/2025: We've been frequenting Sakura restaurant in Modica for a good 5 years, and we've become regulars... once or twice a week, and it's never disappointed. It's a family-run business, and you can immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere: they make you feel at home every time. The sushi is always fresh and carefully prepared, in our opinion the best in the Ragusa province. At lunchtime, the selection is a bit more limited, but at dinner, the menu is much richer and more varied. A must-visit for those seeking quality, friendliness, and authenticity. Highly recommended!

27/09/2025: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the few bars in the area offering a choice of blends for a creamy or light coffee. A place where, in addition to a sweet or savory breakfast, you can also enjoy reasonably priced lunch.

11/07/2025: Apparently disorganized, but thanks to the efficient and fast bartender, it was a great experience and highly professional. The choice of blends of the same coffee was particularly appreciated. Recommended.

07/07/2025: Siamo venuti a conoscenza del ristorante tramite passaparola in spiaggia... abbiamo prenotato (consigliabile se si va di sabato/domenica). Il proprietario e il personale attenti, gentili e veramente da 100 e lode. Il giardino esterno, dove abbiamo mangiato, ben curato e meraviglioso...peraltro con una vista incredibile sul Castello di Donnafugata! Ma quello che merita veramente il nostro inchino ...è stato il loro piatto vincente... le cozze alla crosta. Un esperienza sublime! Complimenti a tutti!!!!

20/06/2025: Torniamo in questo locale, situato nel bellissimo contesto del Castello di Donnafugata, ogni volta che veniamo in vacanza nel ragusano Il piatto forte che mi sento di consigliare sono le cozze in crosta : un’ottima zuppa di cozze al sugo cotte nella crosta della pizza. Quando hai finito le cozze ti portano gli spaghetti da condire col tuo sugo. Ottima idea! Non consiglio il vino bianco della cosa, non l’ho trovato al livello degli altri vini della casa che trovi in questa zona. Bravissimi nel sevizio. Poca attesa nonostante fossimo un gruppo numeroso ed il locale fosse pieno

25/07/2025: Agriturismo in mezzo alla campagna fra ragusa e santa croce Camerina colpisce subito l’organizzazione e la disposizione, da un lato la struttura con il punto vendita e a seguire lo spazio per la degustazione, delle grandi sale che sfociano in un giardino esterno ben curato. Il personale estremamente gentile ti accompagna al tavolo. Prodotti di una bontà eccezionale, ricotta mozzarella burrata e formaggio sono veramente top non da meno il formaggio le salsicce la cotoletta e l’hamburger, provato anche lo stufato di bufalo ottimo. Chiuso con il classico cannolo buonissimo. Soddisfatto pienamente ad un prezzo ottimo. Ci tornerò

12/09/2025: The location is beautiful, but it's a shame about the service and the food. You can feel the tiredness of the staff... excessive slowness, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Tables that no one cleared, and plates that came out of the kitchen one at a time... things ordered that never arrived... in short, there's work to be done. The prices are low but ultimately nothing special... pasta overcooked, meatballs that didn't hold together, bruschetta so thin that the compote on top melted the bread and you couldn't even pick them up with your hands!!! Except for the parmigiana, which was excellent!
