We had lunch at this place after an intensive morning spent hiking in the nearby woods on a winter day. We couldn’t have made a better choice! The food was excellent (a full Italian Sunday lunch with three courses and dessert), and the service was spotless, all at a very affordable price. We will definitely be back to try the menu with local mushrooms.

11/07/2026: We fell in love with this place right from the photos, but it's even more beautiful in person! The view, both day and night, is breathtakingly beautiful. You can feel the tranquility typical of the countryside, and the structure is reminiscent of the farmhouses of the Hyblaean area. We dined outside for my son's first birthday and baptism. It was a wonderful location, with attention to detail. Mrs. Tumino and Astrid are kind people who made the most of the place and accommodated our every need. Our guests were delighted with this enchanting place.

Taverna Nicastro

03/07/2026: Nestled on a street with steps, the lighting creates a charming atmosphere with many tiny lights that resemble an illuminated roof. Friendly staff. The highlight is the food, cooked according to tradition. The rabbit Nicastro style is delicious. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
01/07/2026: A charming taverna serving homemade Sicilian food. Excellent Ragusano and Capunti cheeses.
