23/03/2025: There is no arguing about the delicacy of the products! 5 stars more than deserved... but when goodness mixes with honesty, the combination becomes perfect! We lost our wallet at the table, it fell out of our pocket and we only noticed it at home, after an hour. We returned and found the wallet with its contents intact. Thank you very much... Honesty nowadays is not something to be taken for granted. See you soon

24/06/2025: We visited Bar Gelateria Fidone several times during our week in the village – that’s how good it was! The coffee and especially the gelato were fantastic – clearly made with only natural ingredients and no artificial coloring. You could really taste the quality and freshness in every scoop. Most importantly, this is not a tourist trap. It’s the real deal – local, authentic, and genuinely welcoming. The gelato is stored properly (not displayed in bright-colored piles), which is a clear sign you’re getting the real thing. 16/05/2025: We highly recommend this very pleasant stopover: the staff were charming and efficient. The location was perfect. Exceptional breakfast in a magnificent room. Originally decorated room with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We highly recommend this hotel.

13/05/2025: Well, the hotel is in the new part of town, not in the old city, which is about a 25-minute walk downhill with lots of steps. The hallways are very dirty, and the bathroom, considering the size of the room, is uncomfortable and very small. The breakfast is very basic; it doesn't include eggs, they charge extra for them. The hotel is really far from a 5-star hotel. Good AC

20/01/2025: Availability, friendliness and professionalism are at home. You can't start your morning without a coffee or cappuccino made by these guys. Not to mention the always fresh breakfast and diner pieces.

20/05/2025: Small family-run pastry shop: croissants, graffe, cannoli all delicious and strictly filled at the moment as tradition dictates (I recommend the ricotta cream, truly remarkable). They also make pastries with almond paste and "savoiardini" - small ladyfingers handmade by them, very light and delicious

27/03/2025: Twice in a row at the last moment my reservation was cancelled, in an incorrect manner. If you go in a group you are welcome but if you are 2 adults and two children, randomly at the last moment you are contacted because there is no room, the colleague made a mistake in marking the order, despite booking in advance. I'm disappointed by the kind of attitude.

31/01/2025: This is our go to when we are around Giaratana, it's a genuine hidden gem, excellent pizza with some lovely traditional caponata and peppers on the side (when available). The staff are great and are happy to help. We will be back. The way pizza should be quality without bullshit. 💪
