I migliori ristoranti in Ragusa

29/03/2025: For me it is the top pastry shop (along with another) in Ragusa. Quality, goodness and variety in choice. Furthermore, there is also a large space with table service dedicated to breakfast, or in any case a sweet or savory snack during the day.

21/03/2025: Come and have breakfast here, incredible choice of typical Sicilian and non-Sicilian desserts. Very helpful staff and ample outdoor parking.

28/09/2024: We went last May around 8pm, me, my partner and our respective 14 year old children asked for a table, the place was almost deserted and we asked for a table outside to drink and eat (we were expecting other friends so at least 2 drinks each plus food we would have gotten). They barred us by saying that there were no seats outside and we were offered with an annoyed attitude, only the seat inside at the back, hidden. I'll start by saying that having done PR for Catania clubs for years, I immediately understood the situation... they didn't want us, adding that the empty tables were booked. That's absolutely not true because there were no placeholders. They also rudely let us sit outside because obviously, being a couple with two teenagers, we probably didn't like the mood of this place where, considering the time, the evening had yet to begin and it was still deserted. I was wondering how they behave with the tourists who invade Pozzallo in the summer, denying access to the place. They still have to learn a lot... I advise the owner to broaden his views a bit and take a tour of the major European capitals and see how they treat customers... and why not, take a trip to the nightlife venues in Catania.... he could learn a lot. P.s. I spent the summer in Pozzallo with many friends, we had the opportunity to experience something else, the quality and hospitality of the Sicilian people. Be wary!!!

12/12/2024: Excellent pizzeria with highly digestible pizza and many varieties of flavours. The crouton is absolutely worth trying... truly delicious. Super recommended.

23/01/2025: Very large bar, good breakfast and diner food, in my opinion the absent staff needs to be fixed for such a large place and what's more I paid for the service that we had to serve ourselves....

30/12/2024: Locale scelto casualmente, buona accoglienza e ottimo sevizio, location normale. Menu un po’ strano qualche piatto interessante altri meno. Ottimo il Torino di ragusano e le marmellate di ortaggi di loro produzione, la tagliata non ci ha entusiasmato mentre davvero buono il cannolo. Porzioni un po’ scarse. Tutto sommato fattibile senza grosse pretese

24/03/2025: I was here for lunch. The place was half empty, so in theory I shouldn't have waited. And instead... I arrived and the black guy at the reception was too busy with his computer to say good morning and welcome me. After a while he wakes up and welcomes me and asks me to wait a second. I start the stopwatch on my watch, 4 minutes pass, where I remain standing. I was about to leave when he asks me if I wanted to sit down (I wanted to tell him: no, I'm staying standing, I have to grow up). I sit down and, instead of giving me the menu so I can at least decide what to have and fill the time (the basics of welcoming in a restaurant) they make me wait another 5 minutes this time. Still with my watch on my wrist (I remember the place being half empty). After a while a waiter arrives who is decidedly more alert and asks him if he had asked me what I wanted to drink. From behind the counter, the usual computer-loving guy asks me out loud: still or sparkling? Just like we were at the stadium. Luckily, at least the meal was decent. The waiter who was older than the others was really good at his job. In the end, though, three waiters asked me if I wanted a dessert or a coffee. They lack a bit of organization because it is a question that should be asked once, not three times.

15/02/2025: I don't recommend this place. Terrible!!!! They can't manage the room, they lost control and, despite asking the waiters for information, in the end they left us without pizzas! Don't go there.

14/02/2025: Locale pessimo non lo consiglio, dalle 20.00 alle 24.00 aspettare le pizze ordinate, quando ci siamo alzati per andare via per stanchezza mi dicono di aspettare, che possiamo ordinare di nuovo, propria una presa in giro, non sanno gestire la confusione,. (serata Sav Valentino) troppo scarso..

16/03/2025: One Sunday for lunch I came to this restaurant, I must say I was truly speechless, first of all the full menu did not specify which dishes were listed, only appetizers... The starters were good for goodness sake but the pasta with fish... What's more it was pasta with sauce then we get the sorbet and that's it... to finish they told us that they brought the second course together with the starter and we paid almost 60 euros per person with the smell of the fish not the taste... Judge for yourself

25/03/2025: Very successful 50th anniversary evening. the service was impeccable, the location very pleasant. Too bad it was an evening event, I would have liked to see the resort as a whole. Very recommended.

15/03/2025: Nice, cute and elegant place with a nice outdoor space where you can dine outdoors (in summer) the waiters are very courteous the service is good on average for the place. I had a really, really good lunch.

17/01/2025: We discovered this place a few years back and loved it. The huge selection of often creative toppings, the options for different bases (standard, wholemeal, gluten free etc) plus its position in the piazza made it a favourite of our whole family for a couple of years. But boy has it gone downhill. Service is just appalling: yesterday evening we waited 45 minutes for a bottle of water and a lemon soda, let alone our pizzas. Last visit was the same: we languished inside for a good hour before receiving our pizzas and then one was missing. We had to chase waiters to pay our bill and almost walked out out of frustration. There aren't nearly enough staff and those who there are are surly, unhelpful and seemingly untrained. It's clear no one is in charge. There is now only one pizza base available: standard white flour. Pizza was fine but certainly nothing special. Last night was the last straw and we have given up. No groovy branding and menu is enough to make up for Pura Follia's shortcomings, especially as there are plenty of great pizzerie in Scicli and the surrounding area.

13/01/2025: A limite dell’indecenza. In data 13/01/2025, con mia moglie, abbiamo pranzato nel peggior posto provato fino ad oggi. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti che prevedevano: olive nere, caponata, una polpettina di patate, radicchio in agrodolce, parmigiana, una piccola fetta di cipolla gratinata, tutto cucinato grossolanamente e privo di gusto, un mensione particolare va al radicchio che di agrodolce aveva ben poco, si sentiva solo l’amaro fisiologico della verdura. Ad accompagnare gli antipasti c’è stato servito un cestino di pane riscaldato al microonde, molliccio e insapore. A seguire mi è stato portato un piatto di ravioli ripieni alla ricotta e conditi con del sugo di carne di maiale esageratamente annacquato, mentre mia moglie ha optato per una fettina di vitello alla griglia taglio trinca: il piatto più osceno di un pranzo che di per se fa cena pena, la fettina avrà pesato 80 grammi in totale, una vergogna mai vissuta prima. Da bere una sola bottiglia di acqua frizzante. Il servizio non è stato meraviglioso, ma non è questo che ha rovinato il pranzo. Il conto: 58€ che per quello che abbiamo mangiato è un’esagerazione (la fettina di vitello l’abbiamo pagata 12€). Non ci torneremo mai più.

31/12/2024: We went to this restaurant for lunch on December 31st with the expectation of eating fish after reading that it was the restaurant where Montalbano had lunch and attracted by the fish dishes seen on their website. Unfortunately nothing was as we expected. No fish dishes on the menu, it seems it's just a summer option. We took the arancini but they were completely tasteless (I am from Palermo and I know well what arancini should taste) and cold inside. The standard pasta with tomato sauce straight from the bottle, without any flavour, the completely raw fried aubergines, an unfortunately inedible dish. A pasta with courgettes and bacon that floated in a green liquid that should have been a cream, with a terrible taste. The roasted tomato pasta was passable, but that too was immersed in a liquid sauce. In short, at the end of the meal we were hungry and nervous. The lady understood this although she tried to find unlikely explanations and took two dishes off our bill but we still paid 22 euros each and on top of that the shame of having brought some of my friends from Mantua to spend this money to eat so badly. Perhaps the preparation of the dinner distracted the cook from that of the lunch, frankly a terrible experience.

18/03/2025: Pizza with friends in a really nice atmosphere... Top staff! My pizza with bresaola and rocket has arrived: a mini pizza with a 6 cm high and wide edge with four slices of bresaola and 20 rocket leaves... I came to eat... instead...
