26/07/2025: Such a great little find in Modica, away from all the touristy spots! Pizzeria S. Antonio is a cosy, no-frills place where you get proper Italian pizza — tasty, fresh, and super affordable (some start at just 5 or 6 euros!). The vibe is warm and welcoming, the staff are lovely and really helpful, even if you don’t speak Italian at all 😉 The pizza menu is massive, so there’s definitely something for everyone, and honestly, everything we tried was delicious. If you’re in Modica and want great pizza at a fair price, away from the crowds, this place is a must. Definitely a hidden gem!

29/09/2025: We ordered five pizzas for home delivery, including two baby pizzas. The baby pizzas were awful, the baby pizzas were super small and seemed frozen... 40 euros in total, too much, and in the end we were left hungry... You'll never see us again!

30/09/2025: The property is dated but very welcoming, with clean and spacious rooms, helpful staff, and great entertainment with a fantastic village leader. The sea is stunning and the beach is spotless, just 50 meters from the property. The food is excellent and plentiful. A small flaw is that access to the bar and theater was a bit difficult for children with strollers and wheelchair users, as there was no access ramp. I hope they fix this soon. Overall, a nice place.

08/10/2025: Delicious pizza and you can order it at any time of the day. The staff is very friendly! The prices are good, I paid 2 pizza Diavola with 2 coke only 18 euros. I came 2 times here and I'm planing to come again. I recomend this place!

25/07/2025: This was my first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. I'd been obsessed for a while with trying something different and satisfying my curiosity about this type of cuisine. I can say we were very satisfied with both the quality, flavors, and the quantity. Since it was our first time, we chose the menu with 6 half portions (plus entree and small pastries) that you see in the photo. And let's just say they're not very HALF portions, because you still eat well! I think the price is absolutely right for the service and quality. We also had a tasting of 4 wines (a bit demanding for someone like me who drinks a glass with dinner) with the entire meal, and I think it's essential to fully savor the whole meal! We'd love to return, but I'd eat à la carte to try some special dishes not on this menu! Definitely worth a try!

07/07/2025: All good. I suggest doing the savoury pieces in the morning too, because often for breakfast the customers like sandwiches or focaccias tuna tomato and mozzarella. A bit like in northern Italy where there is a wide range of sweets, but also savoury. For the rest recommended, nice environment.

18/10/2025: Two of us showed up on a Saturday evening around 11:00 PM. After asking if it was too late to order a pizza, we were told it was no problem. We ordered sausage and baked potatoes, STRESSING THE BAKED POTATOES, after the cashier asked us if we wanted them fried or baked. Given that we paid €11 for the pizza, we expected a quality pizza with decent dimensions and good ingredients. But when it arrived (to take home), the pizza was small, with half-burnt fries, and not even a hint of sausage (there was very little of it)... I'd say it was a rip-off.

03/10/2025: We were there for the first and last time. The pizza was absolutely not to my taste. When it arrived at the table, I was very happy... It tasted really orange... But with the food came the frustration: you had to search for shrimp, and you could only see one... There were a few small pieces of seafood and a few other pieces... Especially a lot of breadcrumbs and fior di latte. After a quarter of it, I gave up and just picked out the shrimp to eat... About 10 very small ones...

31/10/2025: 4 counter staff, no one to greet you, no uniforms, always empty windows, desolate bar... a bar with a beastly potential but very poorly managed... never seen a rustic in the window... what kind of bar is this? 😂😂😂 only and always 4 pastries and no breakfasts already from 10 in the morning, what a disaster, it looks like a prison bar.. 2 croissants 5 euros? Skyrocketing prices...

26/10/2025: A very nice place on the Marina di Ragusa waterfront. They make some very nice pizza-based dishes, like the rolled pizza or a kind of Pizzoli they call scaccioni. Very good. They serve beer in a bucket with ice, which is truly fantastic. Average prices for a 1-liter beer, a scaccione, and a rolled pizza, we paid €36.

18/11/2025: If you're visiting the village of Monterosso Almo, I recommend making a reservation at this delightful trattoria. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and you can enjoy a magnificent view. You'll find traditional dishes like ricotta ravioli with pork sauce, pappardelle with mushrooms, an excellent mixed roast, and, to finish, the unmissable cannoli with local ricotta. The service is excellent; you'll be greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Parking is available in the square or on the ring road. You can also take a relaxing stroll through the village's ancient streets and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
