03/11/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place, meticulously crafted and with a truly pleasant atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the aroma of the oven and understand that pizza is a serious business here. Light dough, a crispy crust yet soft on the inside, and top-quality ingredients. I tried the charcoal pizza with pumpkin cream, sausage, and smoked provola: simply spectacular! A perfect blend of flavors, balanced and surprising. Attentive and friendly service, clearly showcasing the passion behind everything. Borgo Giarracca is a place you'll want to return to, each time with the certainty of eating a truly special pizza.

02/11/2025: The place is cute and welcoming. Small rooms and/or spaces for tables of varying sizes: there were nine of us around a large, comfortable square table in a private room slightly larger than the table, just enough to allow for table service. The pizza, with its soft dough, was very good.

18/11/2025: There are not many restaurants as lovely as this one in Ragusa Ibla. Expertly crafted dishes paired exquisitely with wines by Carmelo, the somm. The tasting menu is definitely the journey you must take. Simply a wonderful evening with attentive, knowledgeable service at a relaxed pace. Sublime.

30/10/2025: There were a couple of larger groups dining at the same time as us (party of two), and service felt much more attentive to those tables — we had some long lulls waiting for attention. The food itself was just okay; the pastas were served lukewarm, which was a bit odd. I did enjoy the potato knish amuse-bouche (and appreciated that they offered me a second one). The atmosphere was a bit less relaxing than expected, as a young child nearby was screaming for much of the meal.

28/10/2025: Minimalist restaurant with limited seating but great service and hospitality. Small but good selection of wines, especially Sicilian ones, and some excellent local olive oils. The dinner served was very pleasant: 2 first courses, 2 second courses, sparkling water, 1/4 red wine, 1 dessert for the modest sum of €48. Excellent quality/price ratio, highly recommended, we will return.

13/09/2025: We had a fantastic experience here. The catch of the day was delicious and the mussels were perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations. The food by itself would be worth the 5 stars but when you add in the friendly, generous and welcoming waiter and chef it goes to 6 stars. Could not recommend this place more, my favorite part of Ispica!

19/10/2025: I had 3 course lunch. Everything was really good, what I expect from 2 star restaurant. Full of flavour, surprising, different textures. Pasta dish and small portions were the best. I'd only cook lamb a bit less.

24/10/2025: The food is plentiful and very good, homemade, and absolutely fantastic, from the excellent pizza to the traditional Ragusa-style first courses and a variety of second courses. Everything is exceptional, reasonably priced, and has a spectacular view of the castle. Tables both inside and outside in front of the castle. I highly recommend it.

21/10/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, the service is friendly and fast, and the menu features traditional dishes, all tasty and plentiful. The bill is very fair.

14/10/2025: Were there yesterday, had reserved via website 2 days in advance, no answer, then when we called it was clear they were only outside, it was ok. Service so-so, very inconsistent, the young waiter was very nice and helpful, when we asked why there was no reservation confirmation he said the email had probably ended up in the spam folder. When we ordered wine he said he only had one bottle left, but could give us a different wine, same winery, but cheaper. The food was very, very good, we only had to order the same thing each time, so one meat and one fish probably wouldn't work. But the food really was very, very fine. Unfortunately the kitchen seemed to have run out of energy at the Dolce. Once we got a tiramisu in a glass and once a cheesecake, better in every café, it was extremely unloving and very strange that everyone got something different. In conclusion: Yes, the food was very good, but nothing special, at 60 euros per menu I would have expected more, especially at the Dolce. No need to repeat it.

14/11/2025: This evening, my wife and I ate an excellent gourmet pizza, and an equally spectacular dessert called montanara, made with fried pizza dough and then oven-dried with pears, ricotta, and chocolate. I was truly amazed. The waitress who welcomed and served us was very kind and professional, and even gave us some tips on the Emaia fair in Vittoria, which is taking place right now. I'd say it's a very positive experience.
