31/10/2025: Fantastic hotel with great views and pool in good location. I loved the terrace and pool area with palms, plants and sea views. The breakfast was very varied and included fresh Sicilan blood orange juice and even had a few vegan items Inc spread and beans. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and there's a left luggage. Our room was lovely and had a balcony with beautiful sea view. The sound insulation in the room was not great but no noise late. There are lots of steps but I think there's a lift alternative at each level. Note main entrance is next to bus station not as it looks on Google maps.

30/10/2025: Hilly terrain. Many stairs and fortunately elevators. Fantastic view from the terrace. Lovely pool. Very helpful staff. Large room. Large bathroom. Nice with shelf space, cupboard space, desk and small terrace. fridge. Reading light by the bed too bright. Good breakfast buffet with a large selection. Everywhere very clean and well maintained.

25/09/2025: A great little bakery with great lunch foods and bakeries. All takeaway. We had two of the slices in the picture, two cans of coke and a bag of fresh baked sesame cookies for €13 euro. A great!!! find for Taorima. The pizza ate like a lunch with (as the picture shows) lots of veggies.We sat in the piazza next door to eat our takeaway. My strong recommendation!

06/10/2025: Just returned yesterday from a two-week holiday in Sicily, staying at the Alcantara Resort Adults Only. A hidden gem in a small town. A wonderful place to retreat after a day out. It exudes luxury and tranquility. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. A small, hardworking team, but truly attentive to the needs of the tourist. The breakfast, served at the table, is truly top-notch! A warm welcome, no walking around with your plate, just waking up relaxed while all the fresh produce is brought to the table to your liking. Previous negative comments about not bringing groceries from the supermarket are outdated. But as a common-sense holidaymaker, you can also figure out that you're not supposed to take bags full of things to your room. After all, it's a hotel, not an apartment. You can indeed order all sorts of things at the pool. Of course, not the cheapest prices, but that's understandable. You don't have to sit there all day ordering. The hotel is more designed for relaxing by the pool for two hours after a day out. Pool towels are provided. I really want to thank everyone for their kindness and service: the breakfast team, reception, cleaners, chef, etc. In short, a great location, but a rental car is a must! The same applies everywhere in the tourism industry...what you give, you usually get back. Even though you're the tourist, you can treat each other with kindness and respect. They're truly sweethearts, even after a very long season! Grazie-Mille!

07/10/2025: We stopped here by chance and bought some sweets. If you're nearby, load up your car. Everything is simply delicious.

08/12/2025: Welcoming and clean place, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, the cuisine is the icing on the cake, Mrs Silvia with her very kind welcome made us rediscover the flavors of true Sicily from breakfast to dinner an alternation of zero kilometer delicacies, the best Sicilian cannoli I have ever eaten, I can't wait to return

09/10/2025: This morning I stopped for breakfast with my wife, and we ordered two croissants, one with cream and one with jam. As I was starting to eat them, I noticed they were dry. I turned to the counter and said the croissant wasn't from today, and she told me not to eat it, so I threw it away. I got my coffee, went to pay, and the lady at the register wanted to charge me only for the croissant my wife had and the coffee. I told her that there were two croissants, even though one was thrown away. I wanted to pay for both, and I paid there and then. The lady who charged me reiterated that they throw away any croissants left over from the evening. She wouldn't let me speak, and instead rudely replied that she didn't want to argue. Dear madam, I'm writing this review because, instead of apologizing, you attacked me. You need to be polite with people before you speak. And in any case, if it's of interest to you, I'm a connoisseur of puff pastry croissants.
