24/06/2026: Always fresh, delicious, and high-quality products. The arancini are simply exceptional: incredibly plump, flavorful, and the ragù is spectacular. The focaccia is also exceptional, especially the traditional one with anchovies. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the rotisserie is ALWAYS freshly made. Congratulations!

23/06/2026: Right on the beach. The fries and the salsiccia sandwich were very good. The value for money is excellent. If you want a snack on the beach, this is the place to go. There are a few tables for sitting.

10/09/2025: Historic bakery in Torre Faro, a charming village and hamlet of Messina. During the summer, many locals and vacationers enjoy the aromas produced by Panificio Arena. Seeing is believing! Just take a number and after a short wait you can order from the menu. From the various types of bread, to the pastries and rustic pastries that can be made to order. The summer season is almost over, but I plan on returning, drawn by that smell of freshly baked bread. The staff, managed by the owners, are very attentive and are happy to offer advice on possible purchases. I repeat: Seeing is believing!

16/08/2025: Bar Centrale deserves to be studied not as a place, but as an experiment in how low quality can fall. I ordered a pistachio granita (in Sicily! The home of pistachios!): what arrived in my glass wasn't a granita, but a semi-solid insult. The taste? A lethal mix of sun-forgotten nigiri, expired sushi, and a delicate aftertaste of abandoned basement mold. I suspected they'd blended together nori seaweed, detergent, and dust from under the rugs. Honestly, I would have preferred a shovelful of dirt: at least that would have had a more sincere and dignified flavor. Calling this "granita" a Sicilian product is a sacrilege, an offense to tradition, a gastronomic blasphemy. It's as if someone had decided to declare war on good taste. Bar Centrale is not a bar; it's a disgrace to Sicily. If you love your taste buds, stay away.
