21/05/2025: We had lunch with a large school group [104 people] in this splendid restaurant located in front of the Norman Ursino Castle. It was a satisfying experience. Pasta alla Norma worthy of the great composer Bellini and a good second course of white meat, side dish and a Sicilian citrus sorbet at the end. I would also add an interesting selection of wines from the wonderful terroir of Etna. Very friendly lady/owner and staff, Recommended!

Fixed menu consisting of a large excellent appetizer (we could have gotten up and left), two exquisite first courses (fusilli with fennel and gnocchi with broccoli). The second courses (grilled bacon and a roll composed of sausage and vegetables rolled in bacon) very tasty. Hot and tasty fritters. They should only speed up the service but for the rest nothing to say. PS: kind and professional staff from start to finish. Definitely highly recommended

04/05/2025: Among the best pastry shops in Catania, excellent quality raw materials, clean premises, kind and polite staff. They also do breakfast, diner, ice cream, granitas and cakes. Advised.

25/05/2025: We ordered 4 tiramisu and 1 cannoli - it was dry and old, completely uneatable unfortunately. The worst dessert I ever tried. Good thing that when we told it was so bad they did not charge us for it. We also ordered 4 coffees, and got only 3 of them (after reminding about the 4th coffee we still did not get it) - but we were charged for 4 coffees. Overall I don’t recommend this place.

23/05/2025: This used to be a nice hotel in a nice tourist area. Unfortunately it is now dilapidated and old. They are trying to keep it up to standard but more is needed. There is nothing to do in the area, a long time ago I think. It must have been fashionable here. Personal is friendly. I had a great meal in the restaurant, my friend's choices were really bad. Undercooked pasta and tiramisu tasteless and moist as if it had been thawed quickly. I do not recommend this area. Hotel is fine for a night if you do not have high expectations.

21/05/2025: Ottimo locale sia per la pizza sia per il pesce! Ho festeggiato il battesimo di mio figlio qualche anno fa e sono rimasto esterrefatto dal menù.. e usando posso ritorno anche per una pizza e rimango sempre soddisfatto.. personale gentile e cibo ottimo in un location unica e suggestiva

29/05/2025: I was passing by chance with my family, and looking inside the place something was shining on the left,,,, it was the fish display case that was shining with freshness, the eyes of the fish were talking to me and I couldn't resist, I had to stop and eat, well what can I say, I had seen very fresh fish, very good fried food, good wine, everything was top, highly recommended for those who love fish both raw and cooked, in the oysters I felt the taste of the sea, congratulations guys, keep it up, greetings from Cosenza and thanks for the hospitality

29/04/2025: Abbiamo ordinato. Ok . quello che avevamo appena ordinato era finito ! Ok va bene . Riordiniamo! Quello che riordiniamo non c è. A tal punto chiudiamo cosa fosse rimasto da mangiare, hamburger niente più alle ore 13 h. La cameriera sempre gentile dice quelle tre cose rimaste . Ma noi non le volevamo prendere, cmq .....pensiamo che dovevamo mangiare non potevamo restare a stomaco vuoto quindi ci accontentiamo di quello che era rimasto e ci ha proposto la ragazza! Non tanto contenti aspettiamo, arriva il pranzo tutto bruciato. Lascio la carne nel piatto perché non l avrei mangiata (ma non chiamo la cameriera per non disturbare) , quando sparecchia nonostante abbia visto che c era la carne non mi ha chiesto nulla, ma io ho ribadito alla fine mi è arrivato anche bruciato il pranzo. Senza esitazione risponde la ragazza: cmq lo paghi quindi la prossima volta è meglio chiamare poi nella carne di maiale è normale. Gli ho solamente risposto non ti ho voluto disturbare ma lo so che devo pagare , non ti ho chiamato apposta (avendo un po' di fretta) . Non hanno proprio capito che la cucina deve essere passione e non una forzatura di lavoro. Se si sbaglia qualcosa almeno abbiate il coraggio di dire la verità. Le critiche costruttive vanno capite e accettate per migliorare. Non avevo intenzione di non pagare la carne che non avevo mangiato. Era per farla vedere al cuoco e al servizio!!!!! Mi dispiace ma non ci torneremo più.
