10/02/2025: The location in front of the castle is excellent, in the main square of the town, if you go in the summer you can see the castle and the sea. Typical location with excellent local products. The raw appetizers are very good and of high quality. The spaghetti with squid ink is excellent, but the spaghetti with clams is equally good. In the right period you can also find sea urchins and with its seasoning you can eat an excellent first course. The swordfish cooked in various ways or the catch of the day are very good. Advised

12/11/2024: Fantastic location, especially in the spring summer period where you can enjoy a wonderful view in Piazza Castello. Very fresh fish and cooked to perfection. You have the possibility to personally choose the fish you want to eat from the catch of the day. Salt cooking is highly recommended.

01/01/2025: Nice pitch (with electricity) with a view of Mount Etna! Unfortunately, our navigation system described the route incorrectly, which made getting there a little more difficult. After various phone calls, we received a very friendly welcome (in English). We would come back, absolutely recommended!

19/11/2024: The winery itself is very beautiful and has a great pool. The welcome was warm, and some of the staff speak English. Cons: The pitches are located next to the restaurant parking lot. It was quite busy on weekends, and the music in the restaurant itself was very loud. We found that a bit annoying. Pros: There are plenty of electrical hookups. Clean restrooms and a great view of Mount Etna. We would still recommend it.

05/01/2025: Caldo ed accogliente questo ristorante resta sempre il top dell’Asia food a Catania. Vorresti non andartene più… Il cibo è semplicemente divino e l’atmosfera che si respira è quella delle serate speciali. È la seconda volta che torno e spero di tornarci una terza ed una quarta.

17/09/2024: Terrible experience. As for the pizzas, it was a real disaster. They were practically inedible: the dough was raw, the acidic sauce spiked with sugar, and the ingredients were of poor quality. Cooked ham that smelled, incredible. We ordered several types, but every single pizza was worse than the previous one. I feel cheated and robbed. The staff were incredibly rude, it felt like we were a nuisance to them. But above all the owner treated us with arrogance and in an absolutely disrespectful manner. Not only will I never return, but I will strongly advise against anyone from setting foot in this place. An absolute shame.

17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.
