28/04/2026: The best takeaway we have had in Catania so far! I would say even better food than some restaurants. The chef lady and her son have done a fantastic job with the place. Her son speaks English and has been helping us with what to choose. The pizzas are delicious , good size and also good price. They are on JustEat too so highly recommend them. We will go back again! 10/04/2026: We ordered pizza from pronto, and the pizzas arrived right on time. They recommended trying the off-menu pizzas, and they were delicious, especially the "Esagerata," which is the one with horse meatballs. The ricotta and zucchini flower pizza clearly shows the top-quality ingredients used. The dough was top-notch, thanks as always.

31/03/2026: Special place for Potterheads 😍😘🥰 Amazing decor, attention to detail, with tons of rooms dedicated to the various houses. Simple menu but excellent sandwiches 👍🏻 A little out of the way for us, but definitely worth it.

30/03/2026: The best Harry Potter-themed pub I've ever seen. The themed rooms, divided by house, are truly exclusive and finished down to the smallest detail with fine materials. The staff is dressed in Harry Potter themed attire, and we had a magical and wonderful evening. 💕 The sandwiches are high-quality, the bread is crispy, meeting the highest standards of London pubs. Butterbeer is currently the name of a dessert, but I suggest finding a way to make real Butterbeer like in the studios in England in the future.

01/05/2026: One of the best properties in Lido degli Estensi, both for its location and for everything else, featuring two elevators, indoor and outdoor parking, a pool, a gym, and more. Our stay between April 25th and May 1st, 2026, was perfect in every way. The tireless and extremely professional management of Mr. Alessandro, assisted by Ms. Janet, demonstrated in every aspect their excellent experience, gained over decades of hard work, with excellent results, from welcome to departure, with truly superior courtesy and customer service. A special thanks to Chiara, Maria, Silvia, Andrea, and Giuseppe, a team of young professionals with excellent hotel management training, for their highly appreciated and impeccable service in the dining room and bar, and to the Housekeeping department, which ensured we always enjoyed extremely clean and meticulously maintained rooms.

26/04/2026: Unfortunately, after a great night, breakfast was a disaster. The staff apologized, saying the instructions given in the dining room hadn't been heeded. So, the wait was very long. Everything was cold. The rooms were comfortable with a sea view, but the bathroom was a little small for a 4-star hotel. Excellent location, just steps from the sea and a few meters from the promenade. Hoping it was just a one-off incident.

14/06/2025: I recommend the rusticheria or, better, tavola calda. I ate an Oscar-worthy onion. Then in front of the sea... 90s location, Catania sea and good quality takeaway food. Why not?

07/03/2026: A homey atmosphere reminiscent of old trattorias. The cuisine is simple but incredibly tasty, just like grandma's. Service is friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: They've been riding the crest of a wave for over forty years. I remember the day they opened, and I knew immediately by tasting their gelato that something good had happened. Artigiana started out as a gelato shop, and over the years they've grown into a cafeteria, then a pastry shop, and now a pizzeria, and of course, always a bar. I invite you to try their gelato. In the summer, the granita with cream and brioche with a tuppo (a kind of brioche) are delicious. You won't regret it, and you'll definitely be back. Furthermore, the owners, the Distefano brothers, are friendly, kind, and professionally trained. Don't miss them during the Christmas and Easter periods to try their cream-filled colomba and panettone cakes in various flavors, all handmade. So, what are you waiting for? 07/11/2025: Bar Pasticceria Dalli became our go-to spot while staying in Mascali, just a short 5-minute drive from our agriturismo. This is a quintessential Sicilian cafe experience. Authentic Atmosphere: The place is typically Sicilian, filled with local people sitting, chatting, and warmly greeting newcomers. It immediately made us feel welcomed into the local community. Top-Tier Coffee: Most importantly, they serve excellent espresso. My husband was so impressed by the quality that he made it his mission to go there twice a day to grab his essential daily input of espresso! The service is fast and friendly, and it's the perfect place to start your morning or pop in for a midday recharge. If you are staying in the Mascali area, skip the tourist spots and grab your coffee here for a genuine local experience
