06/08/2026: My compliments once again to all the staff. It was a unique experience, the food was delicious. For the entire dinner, we were no longer in Italy, but rather guests in the home of a delightful Indian family.
We left the table satisfied, but with an irresistible desire to return and try what we hadn't been able to order.

18/07/2026: We arrived in Catania on July 6th for vacation, and unfortunately, the bar was closed until July 14th. We waited all day to get there, and we weren't disappointed!
This place feels like home! You're welcomed and enveloped in a love of beer!
Owner Fabio has a fantastic approach to this business.
Unfortunately, the beer selection was very limited, but that didn't spoil the experience.

The atmosphere is incredible: beautiful background music and the owner singing and making everyone smile.

22/06/2026: Dinner at Sapio is an incredible experience worth having at least once in your life.
The service was impeccable, and the kindness of Maitre Gianluca was unforgettable. He even showed us around the estate and told us the history of Catania.
It was truly a wonderful experience, and Chef Alessandro was kind and friendly when he introduced himself to us at our table.
To conclude, it was simply sublime. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience and live a love affair with food.

The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and always with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, ideal for a quiet dinner. An authentic restaurant, far from the usual tourist traps. If you're passing through Catania, it's definitely worth a visit!

17/08/2026: The place is nice, the food is good, a good selection of appetizers, and the prices are normal, like in other restaurants... Everything is expensive everywhere these days... The only downside is the service; we would have liked to eat together, but some appetizers arrived quite a bit apart from each other. Something went wrong. Definitely room for improvement.
17/08/2026: As the waiter poured wine, I noticed the glass was stained with lipstick.
Lifting the napkin from the plate, I noticed a hair on the plate.
The risotto was extremely salty and inedible, the paccheri seemed drained and over-seasoned, and to top it off, the fish was fresh 🤔 I saw it was cooked and brought to the table. As soon as the fish arrived, so did the smell of fish being kept outside its ideal temperature. I won't add anything else.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately, at night, the guests in the neighboring rooms were incredibly noisy.
We only ate one evening at the restaurant; the menu has limited choices... The dishes, however, were delicious.
The price certainly wasn't the cheapest...
For breakfast, however, the waiter was really kind and patient.

01/08/2026: If I could, I'd give it six stars! The restaurant has such a lovely ambiance with its charming little terrace and soft jazzy background music. We were greeted with a special appetizer, followed by bruschetta, and the highlight was the cheese and charcuterie platter with homemade focaccia! Before that, we received a warm and expert wine recommendation, perfectly paired with our meal. All in all, the best spot you can find in Catania.
