09/01/2026: Unfortunately, I had to eat at this place for Epiphany. Needless to say, they'll never see me again. I paid €83 for two dishes, one of which was a crudité, BLACK PRAWNS, probably starved to death, and two small scampi, also of very questionable appearance. The fried food was neither praise nor infamy, but you know, fried food is fine even at a table. They even told me, seeing that I was photographing the PRAWNS, that I was "overdoing it." They didn't take the dish off the bill, and instead, to top it off, a small glass of Amaro Averna cost €10, something you wouldn't even find in a Milanese gallery. What can I say? If you want to spend a lot of money senselessly, probably eat some who knows how processed prawns, and end up with something unpleasant, this is the place to be! My heartfelt congratulations.

05/01/2026: We chose Akropolis Restaurant for our baby's baptism, and everything was perfect, from the masterfully managed organization by the very kind Cristina, to the menu preparation by the chef and his team, to the professional service of the head waiter and his team. The outdoor area is also wonderful, offering a breathtaking view of the Valley of the Temples. Thank you so much again!

18/11/2025: A small, simple self-service restaurant with everything you need for a pleasant meal. A few tables on the terrace and inside. The focaccias were generously portioned and delicious. Excellent value for money, friendly atmosphere.

22/11/2025: Had dinner for two this evening. Excellent value for money. The fish is incredibly fresh and expertly cooked. The sardines alla beccafico are delicious, as are the mixed fried fish and the raw ham from Mazara del Vallo. The caponata is the best. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: One of the best pizzas between the provinces of Agrigento and Palermo. The atmosphere isn't sophisticated, but the quality of the pizza truly exceeds any expectations. After visiting many renowned pizzerias, this one offers a product that surpasses many standards. Highly recommended.

29/01/2026: Always the jewel in the crown of the historic center. The place is suitable for any occasion, from breakfast to afternoon tea. A small seating area is ideal for a break during a stroll, to cool off in the summer with a granita, or warm up in the winter with a tea or hot chocolate. The wonder of wonders: the ricotta desserts (cannoli, cassata...), I believe the best in Agrigento.

We had a chance to try the best tiramisu we have experienced and pistaccio cuscus, which is super local dessert and the best thing i have tried in years. Visit them, they are a family restaurant that trully deserves visitors

28/01/2026: High quality staff, I was welcomed at the entrance by the owner in a special way... with a glass of Firriato Brut... I chose... pasta as a first course with very fresh red prawns and burrata etc.. exquisite, fried calamari for the second course.. Wine and amaro!! I recommend this place to anyone who really wants to eat fresh fish!!

26/12/2025: The staff is very friendly, the menu is clear, and the wine selection is small but reasonably priced. I just found the bun on my burger a little dry, but it was still good (the vegan, Pink Floyd).
