The restaurant is well-kept and clean inside.
It's run by a young family, whose staff are polite and always smiling.
The food is excellent: fresh fish cooked simply, but with flavors that will remain among the fond memories of this holiday.
Highly recommended.
5 stars are nothing for the Taverna del Duca.

Tasty drinks with good snacks and food.
Edit 11.09.25: After last years experience, I had to visit this place again. This time we hade some really good panini con panelle (traditional Sicilian sandwich with chickpea fritters). The virgin caipirinhas were also tasty 😋. In the end Christian - the owner - made us try his own new Carub bitter as a special treat. Very aromatic 🤤

I love the Saturday Karaoke, which encourages you to sing your favorite songs. It definitely has a unique atmosphere for an unforgettable time.

28/08/2025: After visiting the Greek temples in Agrigento, I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance.
A truly luxurious restaurant in the middle of the countryside.
It was possibly the best meal of my entire stay in Sicily. A true delight; everything we ordered was delicious. Without a doubt, I had one of the best pastas with tomato sauce I've ever eaten here—a spectacle.
The waiters were professionals who treated us like royalty (shout out to my Venezuelan friend, he's outstanding).
A must-see.
27/08/2025: Wow! What can I say about this magnificent place... first of all it definitely deserves the 5⭐️ We stumbled upon it by chance and what a discovery! The food pairings are perfectly chosen, the waiters are extraordinary, from the welcome to the departure. And of course the view is just magnificent. We will be back!

19/10/2025: It was hard to raise the bar, and after days of excellent pasta, we decided on sirloin with green peppercorn sauce and tuna with pistachio sauce. Spectacular. I expected something better with the tiramisu, but I'd come back to try more dishes. The dishes took a little longer than usual... But the result was worth the wait.
