16/10/2025: Food was excellent with generous portions, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. Proprietor was welcoming and very friendly and took the time to explain the dishes and translate menu items into English. We had the eggplant Mille-feuille as an appetizer, beef ragu with bigoli pasta and veal filet with porcini mushrooms. For dessert, their tiramisu with chocolate- thick and creamy and delicious.

26/10/2025: We planned an evening at this location, which has a truly remarkable view of the Valley of the Temples (it must be wonderful to eat outside in summer or late spring). The fish was top-notch, beautifully presented, and everything was truly delicious; the staff was excellent and very helpful. The only downside was the interior, which was too '70s-inspired, which wasn't really my taste. Compared to all the other positive aspects of the place, it's out of place, but only up to a point, so many positives are there.
A beautiful, well-kept garden. Definitely worth trying in a different season to enjoy the magnificent view.

Edit 11.09.25: After last years experience, I had to visit this place again. This time we hade some really good panini con panelle (traditional Sicilian sandwich with chickpea fritters). The virgin caipirinhas were also tasty 😋. In the end Christian - the owner - made us try his own new Carub bitter as a special treat. Very aromatic 🤤

29/11/2025: It's not my habit to leave reviews, but today I felt robbed because, together with friends, we had two slices of panettone for dessert. When the bill arrived, it was a real rip-off because the price for just two slices was €20, that is, €10 per slice... I won't add anything else... But so much bitterness...

All of the ingredients are home grown. You will also enjoy the company of Stefano and his family. You cannot go wrong. Just make sure you go hungry.

28/11/2025: This was our first tasting experience and probably my favorite meal I’ve ever had. This one is for the adventurous eaters who don’t mind raw seafood. Every single dish was incredible and so delicious. The service was unmatched. I will be thinking about this meal for a very long time.
