27/07/2025: A niche restaurant in the truest sense of the word! We dined in a small late-19th-century sailor's warehouse, converted into a restaurant, yet comfortable and renovated down to the last detail. The welcome was worthy of respect and the staff were qualified, especially the young Sommelier, a skilled figure determined to leave the customer satisfied. We regret to admit that the dishes did not showcase the raw materials they were made from: they were sparse, the table setting was reductive, and the flavors did not enhance the dishes we ordered. Those familiar with gourmet restaurants expect a different treatment and, above all, want to savor the excellence of the area (Sciacca, I remind you, is a tourist destination), reflected in an entrée that is nonexistent at the osteria in the alley! We're sorry, because the restaurant looks promising. However, we thank the Sommelier for recommending the house specialty, "Ove Murina," accompanied by a postcard that told the story of the dessert. Five stars to our Sommelier! P.S.: The bill was a bit high for the food served.

05/06/2025: English: A place found at the last minute, even if Sciacca is a seaside town, we opted for meat, we were welcomed very well by the host, we asked for mixed grill meat platters, with delicious sheep skewers, everything excellent, tasty and cooked to perfection, we added very dry French fries and grilled vegetables appreciated by everyone, given the rushed transit, we did not order alcoholic drinks but only water and a bottle of coke, the place is very clean with adequate spaces, a single bathroom also for disabled people very clean, there is no smell of food at all as often happens in other places, the place is provided by an outdoor space where there are tables and chairs for lunch outside, we really appreciated the hospitality offered to us by the owner and the staff, punctual service without long waits, we did not order premium cuts of meat of various ages, but normal platters, adequate price per couple, once again an infinite thank you for the service offered by the host and the room attendant, well done everyone 👏👏👏👏👏👏

01/06/2025: Definitely worth a visit if you like meat. I had the 500g Angus steak. It was perfect, just the way I wanted it. In the end, it was "almost" too much of a good thing! The two young men who ran the place were really friendly, occasionally asked questions without being intrusive, and had time for a little chat. If I'm ever back in Sicily, I'll go back. By the way, €25 for this piece of meat with a side dish was more than reasonable.

21/07/2025: I've never been there in person but every year at Easter and Christmas I order panettone and colombe, recently I also tried the ricci, delicious, especially the pistachio ones, speaking of panettone and colombe I have to say that they are the best I've ever tried, they have a unique consistency, in my family we always compare them to cotton wool, the fragrance is unique and I can't imagine what it feels like to taste it fresh, the prices are a bit expensive but online somehow they always offer discounts or don't charge shipping so I've never really paid that much.

04/08/2025: Our favourite meal in Sicily so far, loved it so much we went both nights we were in Agrigento!! Staff were lovely and very tolerant of our basic Italian. Over 2 nights we tried arancini, blue cheese and walnut risotto, tomato and seafood gnocchi, squid ink tagliolini with red prawn, veal with green pepper sauce, tiramisu and cannoli- all of which were incredible. Wines were very good, we particularly liked the Sicilian sparkling rosé. Beautiful setting in a courtyard just off the main street Via Atenea. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Grazie Mille, we will be back!

03/08/2025: Do you see the pistachio? Me neither, even though I ordered pistachio pasta. The setting is pleasant, but the pasta is overcooked, flavorless, and overpriced. Regarding the service, we asked for olive oil, which we never received (even though the restaurant was empty, it's not like the server was overwhelmed). The POS terminal is prehistoric, so I had to pay in cash, and the lady forgot to give me €5 back, so I had to remind her. In short, avoid it!

18/07/2025: A great place. We were received with great care and kindness. The food is delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is very pleasant with the music, photos, and vintage-style furnishings.

09/07/2025: Absolutely perfect experience! The food was outstanding — every dish was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The wine selection was excellent and paired wonderfully with our meal. Everything from the service to the ambiance was spot on. Highly recommended — we couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

06/08/2025: We went to Senzafunnu with a group of friends and had a spectacular dinner. The meat was exceptional: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The portions were generous, with well-balanced flavors and seasonings, without overpowering the meat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and always available; they immediately put us at ease. A top-notch experience, definitely worth repeating!

14/08/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever tried, faultless (food, service and atmosphere). Even if the approach behind a gas station can be daunting at first, you discover a magnificent place below, the former garden of a beautiful house I think, away from the road and the noise. The dishes were all very excellent, we went there twice in a row to explore the menu.

The place is unique, well-maintained and clean... the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive... excellent value for money... ideal for dinners with friends and others... recommended.

21/06/2025: C’ero stato anni fa e ne serbavo un buon ricordo. Abbiamo preso antipasti primi e secondi, nulla di eccezionale, a parte la pasta al sugo di triglie che consiglio.

14/06/2025: Ristorante accogliente e sobrio, servizio veloce, cucina non evoluta. Abbiamo cenato al Kalos con una coppia di amici. Come antipasto abbiamo assaggiato lo sformatino di melanzane, tuma e gamberi: piatto "piatto", melanzane scomparse sotto una quantità esagerata di mollica, gamberi messi nel piatto senza senso! Come primo abbiamo ordinato le linguine all'aragosta: buoni di gusto e generose le porzioni. Per finire abbiamo diviso in quattro un pesce San Pietro: buono il gusto del pesce, un po' meno le patate con olive, capperi e pomodorino che lo accompagnavano. Abbiamo lasciato il ristorante con la sensazione di non aver mangiato male, ma di aver gustato piatti troppo casalinghi, con gli impiattamenti sbagliati: l'aragosta nascosta dalle linguine, il San Pietro sotterrato dalle patate! Servirebbe una maggiore innovazione!
