29/03/2024: The quality of the products is great. As you can see if you order the raw seafood appetizer. But when they try to cook it, then is when things start to go bad. It’s sad to see such beautiful seafood cooked as poorly as I saw today. I had a 1.200kg lobster with pasta, and it was chewy and bland. The pasta was good as expected in Italy, but the lobster died for no reason. The waitress was not very helpful and sure she didn’t want to be there. Didn’t try to help us at all. When she was weighting our lobster there was a cigarette package next to the scale. Maybe I’m being too critical, but in my opinion this is unacceptable. You see, the raw seafood platter showed us what to expect: the razor clams, such beautiful animal, seamed to had been opened with a machete, the flesh was completely destroyed. That’s a good preview of what the rest of the dinner was going to be like. Tourists like myself should be more prepared to eat bad food in Italy. We come here with such great expectations, but actually most of the restaurantes are terrible like this one. The only difference is that this one was specially expensive, something like 80 euros per capta. With this kind of money you expect something at least a little less amateur. This restaurant is an great example of what to avoid when in Sicily

It is located in Porto Empedocle, and is known primarily for its truly good lobster spaghettone. Various appetizers, served well. We did not have the opportunity to meet the owner as he was not present at the time But we were still served well by the waitress Anna Maria, who also gave us good advice, was very kind and available until the end. 16/01/2024: Nella nostra unica sera a Porto Empedocle, inebriati dalle precedenti recensioni, prenotiamo in questo bel ristorante di livello medio alto, decisi ad abbuffarci di ottimo pesce e, ovviamente, gamberi crudi, pronti a spendere quel che sia necessario.. Al tavolo scopriamo che nel locale c'è una festa di laurea ed il menù è lo stesso per tutti i convenuti, turisti compresi.. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, ma certo non quello che avremmo voluto.. Ed è stato un gran peccato.. E non informarci della cosa quando abbiamo prenotato telefonicamente il pomeriggio stesso, lo ritengo un errore imperdonabile.. Per questo do 3 pallini ad un ristorante che di sicuro ne merita 5

06/04/2024: Very friendly place with a good atmosphere. The service is warm and pleasant. The pasta was excellent, the fries too, however I found the meat of the burger to be of rather average quality. Very good time all the same.

05/04/2024: Well furnished place with historical artefacts on the walls. The men's bathroom is very particular with a sink that is decidedly out of the ordinary, the women's bathroom is all too normal, even if the floor is covered with photos and magazine clippings. The burgers and chips that accompany them are good. The red draft beer was good, we had a lot of fun playing "name, things and city" all evening. Compliments

Nulla da eccepire, servizio ottimo, aperitivo accompagnato da molti stuzzichini, prezzo onesto e, cosa che non guasta mai, proprietari e personale estremamente gentili. Bravi !!!

17/03/2024: Really welcoming place! Very elegant with a family atmosphere! Impeccable staff for friendliness, education, availability and professionalism. Paolo, Giuseppe, Nico, Melania and Stefania are truly the best! The pizza Paolo made for me? To be framed because it was so beautiful! As beautiful as it is exquisite! Memorable dough! Spectacular pizza for the dough and quality of the ingredients! Excellent venue! Highly recommended!

19/02/2024: The room inside is spartan. In summer, tables outside in the square next to the statue of Inspector Montalbano by Andrea Camilleri. The pizza is decent, the prices even better. The cover charge is just €1. Low prices for drinks and very abundant side dishes/starters. Normal service although there was no confusion. We paid little and ate well. We'll be back.

01/03/2024: We decided, on the advice of a friend, to celebrate an important event at this lovely venue. It was a good choice!!! Fortunato, the owner, is a person from another era, a person who takes care of the customer and carefully chooses the raw materials, advises you on the menu and, despite the quality and goodness of the products, keeps the prices very competitive . We ate with 20 people, the service was fast, courteous and excellent, the menu was delicious, tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended

28/03/2024: A pleasant surprise! I didn't know this tavern and I was pleasantly surprised. Very rustic location, friendly and helpful staff. Super fresh fish! The grilled sea bass and the trio of pasta are super recommended, as well as the homemade gazzosa🤩🤩 Fair price. I will definitely be back!
