08/12/2025: A place every Italian city should have. Atmospheric, affordable, and delicious. The pizza is not large, priced at €2.00, but very tasty. Good beer is also not expensive at €2.50. I highly recommend it.

26/03/2026: I can't review the rooms as I didn't stay, but if they're like everything else, they're definitely 5-star. The pizza is excellent, the location is superb, the dining room is spotless, the outdoor garden is truly beautiful, and last but not least, the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, a gentleman from another era—it's rare to find someone so helpful. This will definitely be a stop on my next trip. Highly recommended.

20/03/2026: Excellent place, both as a restaurant/trattoria and for pizza. It has an outdoor area with several tables right in the pedestrian area.
Excellent food, tasty and generous portions.
The staff is very polite and helpful, the dining room is well-kept.
Clean and tidy, even the bathroom, though a bit small.
In the summer it fills up with tourists, so reservations are required.
Average prices. Money well spent.

16/11/2025: Perhaps the best croissant with cooked cream I've ever had... so I often have breakfast here on weekends to see if it's the best. Alternatively, the puff pastry with apple is delicious. You can also choose from a variety of sweet treats, as well as savory focaccias. The cappuccino is also good, served in a large cup, as if it were at home, with a generous, fluffy froth. Recommended.

16/03/2026: We arrived in Porto Empedocle on a rainy Monday in March at 3 pm. We were short on time and ended up at Giò Bar, a welcoming place with a very friendly owner who pampered us, offering us three sandwiches with dried tomatoes, tuna, cheese, and salad. The bread was warm and crunchy. Then, since we were in the mood, we also wanted to try his freshly cooked meat arancini. Everything was delicious and appetizing, we thoroughly enjoyed it! We then stayed to chat, and he explained some tips for visiting the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi. Thank you for your welcome and explanations. We hope for good weather the next day to put your advice into practice! Thank you for your kindness!

08/12/2025: During my trip to Sicily, I stopped at this bar/pastry shop and was literally blown away. The food was divine: the tavola calda, fresh from the oven, just as the staff had told me, and the cannoli, filled on the spot, were simply fantastic, incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The service was attentive, and the place was incredibly clean and tidy. You can see the passion behind this work. Well done!

08/04/2026: Exceptional place, you eat like at home and it's cheap!!! The fish and meat are top! The first courses are the house specialty! My favorite. Spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and swordfish, and rigori with breadcrumbs!!!
