10/04/2026: Great food as everyone here says. We sat outdoors in a quiet corner just off the street next to the church. Benvenuto tasting pieces before the meal. We had the lamb cutlets and pork shin for lunch. All perfecto!

08/04/2026: Sicilian hospitality at its finest: Cucina & Vino While searching for authentic Sicilian cuisine, I came across the restaurant Cucina & Vino. My conclusion: The food and wine selection, as well as the service and ambiance, are absolutely first-class. The family-run charm of this establishment is particularly noteworthy: While the father attentively and courteously serves the guests, his wife and son ensure excellent culinary delights in the kitchen. A visit that impressed in every respect – we are already looking forward to our next time at Cucina & Vino.

19/04/2026: An experience to repeat and I recommend it to everyone. The owner is affable and easy-going, even in his way of doing things, he puts the customer at ease, making him the protagonist of his dishes characterized by very tasty flavors in their simplicity and authenticity.

04/04/2026: I eat here often and have always had a wonderful time! The food was all excellent, from appetizers to dessert: every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Today the service was simply perfect: the staff were professional, attentive to the customer's needs, and super kind. The owners were also welcoming and helpful; you could really feel the passion they put into what they do. The quality is excellent, but a special mention goes to the pasta with mixed legumes... it made me feel like I was at my grandmother's house ❤️ Highly recommended!

20/04/2026: sad to say, but by far our worst meal here. Fish was cold and not good, even the stray cats didn’t want to eat the leftovers. Fried artichoke was cold and inedible, impossible to eat. The owners kids ran around kicking a soccer ball in and out of the restaurant the whole time and threw these spark things on the ground that made loud bangs. We didn’t have silverware or napkins and kept having to ask for basic things like that or grab them from neighboring tables. Very overpriced too. The staff is nice but would pass on the food sadly. :(

19/12/2025: It's always a pleasure to review places that put the raw ingredients at the center of everything, and stopping at Dolce Vista was a remarkable gastronomic experience, despite a few minor acoustic issues. The location immediately strikes a good picture, very well-kept and pleasant, but unfortunately it suffers from an extreme cacophony that makes conversation difficult when crowded. It's a shame, because the welcome is truly worth it: the young owner is a gracious and attentive figure, capable of gracious hospitality that makes the guest feel truly at the center of the experience, supported by an excellent wine cellar. We opted for the full tasting menu, and let me say right away, you eat "too much" here. Don't get me wrong, we're not in a food factory: every dish is of such quality that you can't leave even a single piece on your plate, despite the portions being decidedly generous. We were already full after the appetizers, but everything was so good that stopping would have been a crime. Their cured meats are magnificent, as are the battuta di carne and caponata, but it's the marinated artichokes that are truly sublime. The pasta is excellent, and I applaud the honesty of the staff, who suggested we order just two portions for three, allowing us to enjoy the pinnacle of flavor: the meats. The comparison between the Frisona beef tagliata and the local Modicana was a triumph of flavor and technique. To finish, in addition to the dessert on the menu, we were kindly offered a creative dessert with a biscuit base and cream, both honey-based. The flavor is delightful, but if I may offer a technical tip as a customer devoted to quality, I would reduce the height of the biscuit base: currently, it's too high and tends to squash the cream, which should be the star of the show. A small touch to make an already excellent meal memorable. In short, a highly recommended place for those seeking substance, excellence, and service that truly understands hospitality.

07/04/2026: We found this place near to our hotel and it was wonderful. They were fully booked for later on in the evening, but squeezed us in. We had the best food of our holiday! Can recommend the veal chop and the steak, and the sharing platter for starters.

27/02/2026: A very welcoming atmosphere and extremely friendly staff, a wide selection of wines, pizza with excellent dough (the cuddiruni is highly recommended 🔝), and the burger is also delicious. Attention to detail is a hallmark of the place. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: Poor customer service from the owners and staff. We booked for Easter lunch, arrived at 1:30 PM, and were told the kitchen would close at 2:30 PM (which wasn't communicated to us when we booked). The table was uncomfortable (small and narrow, not suitable for five adults). We asked the owner for a better table since there were empty tables, but he wouldn't grant it because he said there wasn't availability. After about ten minutes, a table with about ten seats was separated to create two smaller tables (so it must not have been booked). The food was poor. Really poor value for money. To top it all off, we were asked if we could pay in cash...obviously not!

07/11/2025: Therasia will always be one of those places closest to my heart. After three summers, it still feels as special as the first — it truly feels like home. The views are serene, calm, tranquil, and breathtaking, and the sunsets here just hit differently — they’re something else. Pierpaolo is truly exceptional — attentive, genuine, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything feels perfect. Thank you also to Marta, Maria, Lorenzo and the rest of the team for your warmth and kindness; you make every stay unforgettable. Truly one of my favorite hotels in the world.

02/11/2025: For me, there are no more beautiful places on earth. Here you are in paradise. The beauty and wild character of the island of Vulcano complement the sophisticated allure of the resort, with that dominant white typical of Aeolian architecture and those massive cubic shapes with flat roofs and terraces. The infinity pool seems to dive into the sea in a double play of blues of different yet equal hues. Divine cuisine, the freshest fish, and breakfast with endless choices. A dream. Because perhaps such beauty can also be found in the Caribbean, but the goodness of Italian cuisine and the charm left on this land by all the history that passed through it through the Arabs, Normans, and Bourbons can only be found here. I love it.

Delicious and traditional cuisine, excellent, varied and traditional appetizers; two delicious first courses (the orecchiette with pork ragù was insane!!), a mix of top-quality meats, and a superb dessert! The peach with ricotta and amaretto ended the meal exceptionally well. An intimate and welcoming place, with courteous and attentive service! Highly recommended!!

09/04/2026: As a Neapolitan, I can say I had excellent coffee as well as a selection of top-quality desserts. Cocktails with a sea view are not to be missed. The courtesy and kindness of the owners and staff were top-notch.

29/03/2026: Simply absurd. An aperitif costs €10 Rotisserie and fries are paid separately. First of all, they don't even bring you a menu, so it's all a matter of discovery! And what a discovery! Perhaps a heart attack! I can understand if it were a tourist spot, but it can't even be called that. I can also understand the price for the rotisserie, but you have to tell me how much it costs per piece! But the most absurd thing is paying for regular fries! Not even where I live, living in a tourist town, do I pay such outrageous prices!
