Despite the frenetic chaos generated by the Pistachio Festival, the staff managed to maintain an atmosphere of great professionalism and friendliness. The Dish: Pistachio Fried Pasta The idea of ​​fried pasta (stuffed bucatini, in this case inspired by carbonara and enriched with Bronte pistachios) is a brilliant street food experience. I immediately noticed the use of fresh, quality ingredients, which make all the difference in such a rich dish. 29/06/2025: ⭐ 1 estrella — Experiencia horrible, sin responsabilidad Tuvimos una experiencia terrible en La Pedro's en Mondello, Sicilia. Mientras cenaba con mi prima de 15 años, un transeúnte que pasaba en coche le arrojó una botella de agua que le salpicó toda la cara. Ella estaba empapada, asustada y muy molesta: arruinó completamente nuestra noche. Cuando se lo dijimos al camarero y luego al gerente, no parecieron importarles en absoluto. Dijeron que “mirarían las cámaras” y “lo reportarían a la policía”, pero no había ningún sentido de urgencia o preocupación genuina. No ofrecieron ninguna disculpa, ningún tipo de apoyo, ni siquiera un pequeño gesto como hacerse cargo de nuestra cuenta. Mi prima ni siquiera pudo terminar su comida porque estaba muy conmocionada. Después tuvimos que acudir nosotros mismos a la policía para hacer una denuncia, porque al restaurante claramente no le importaba. Es sorprendente que un lugar tan popular tenga tan poco respeto por el bienestar y la seguridad de sus huéspedes. Advierto encarecidamente a cualquiera que esté pensando en cenar aquí: si algo sale mal, no esperen que les importe. Están demasiado ocupados aprovechando su popularidad como para tratar a sus clientes con respeto y decencia básicos.

28/09/2025: I went to Common Ground for After Hours Night and it was truly wonderful, the best I've ever attended, both in terms of selection and target audience. The venue pleasantly surprised me: impeccable organization, polite and professional bouncers, not rude. You could dance, jump, and have fun freely; something that makes all the difference in a nightclub, especially compared to many venues that tend to hold back the crowd. The drinks were excellent and reasonably priced, especially considering the evening was well-targeted. We need more venues like this around!
