Primo Scivolo In Pozzallo

Nice big plates but too much oil everywhere...

This restaurant is on a lovely, quiet stretch of beach . It is an unassuming establishment from the outside with rentable sun loungers and parasolled drinking spots. If you venture inside you find many tables under a marquee type cover with clear plastic sides to allow for views. The tables were all laid up with white cotton tablecloths and cutlery. The lady serving and probably cooking seemed a little unwelcoming at first but after I made attempts at Italian to try to order she softened, especially after praise for the meal which was well deserved as it was delicious! We both ordered the pasta with mixed seafood which tasted beautifully fresh and shared a nice bottle of wine with it. It seemed like a family run place as she appeared to be looking after a toddler and teenageer during our visit.

A really cool pizza maker. The pizza tastes delicious. They also have great Sicilian beer.
