05/04/2025: A wonderful place, warm environment, kind staff, I fully recommend

29/03/2025: The six of us paid €50 each (€300 total) for a basic meal of average quality, with less than stellar service. We even included a burger in our bill, which we neither ordered nor ate (which, of course, was removed from the bill after our observation). This is definitely not a place that could afford such a high price. I'll never dine here again.

10/06/2025: I say €4 for a medium cup of ice cream, I am told here the raw material is paid for, and the addition of cream 0.50 cents. Not even if we were in the Center or Taormina, all consumed not even at the table. It is a slap in the face and a shame to the true artisans of ice cream. There are much better ice cream shops that cost less in much better places

23/08/2025: I'm so sorry, terrible. They didn't give us a menu, they served spaghetti in bianco with three clams in a row, pretending it was spaghetti with clams, pre-cooked pasta. We found hair in the octopus salad, and the fish was frozen. We won't be returning.

L’offerta dei vini è adeguata (spicca il vino prodotto dal calciatore Barzagli) e la simpatia impareggiabile della proprietaria completa la riuscita della serata dopo teatro. 12/07/2025: To forget. I booked a banquet for 50 people well in advance, choosing it specifically for the beauty of the exterior. Three days before the event, I was moved to another area of the villa due to the addition of other guests to another event on the same day. I accepted, understanding the situation. The very morning of my event, I received a call to inform me that over 100 people had been added to the other event and that I would no longer be able to use the exterior. This forced me to move entirely to a venue with no exterior and completely different from the vision I had envisioned for my event, which had been organized down to the last detail. You can imagine the stress, anger, and frustration I faced on a day that was supposed to be one of celebration and serenity. I've never seen or heard anyone tell me they had to change venues or even days (because I was even advised to change days, but the reason was my own, not theirs!), despite booking well in advance, giving priority to another event with more people, and completely ignoring the requests we had agreed upon from the start. Moral of the story: at 1:00 PM that same day, I had to completely reorganize an event elsewhere.

21/05/2025: Simply the best pizza I have ever eaten, in Sicily, in Italy and in the world. Too, too, too good. I have never left this place unsatisfied. Even when the place is full, it is not too noisy and the quality of the pizza has never dropped. I can't wait to bring my foreign friends to let them taste this delight.

05/07/2025: After attending for more than three years, I can only recommend it for the authenticity of the food, carefully chosen and well prepared by Maestro Giovanni, a first-rate Chef; as it was for me, once you know it you never leave it, the atmosphere and the area are excellent, right in the center of the two major theaters in Palermo. 09/06/2025: If they hadn't been inconsistent, with social media managers (among other things, petty companies ultra-jealous of their followers who didn't re-share the food tagged by external food bloggers) who published dishes but then you went there and, punctually, for one reason or another, they couldn't make them (for example, fried pizzas...)... If they had at least kept the non-stop hamburgers, even in the afternoon... If they hadn't changed staff continuously (with people who had to re-learn everything from scratch every time)... If they had decided once and for all what they wanted to do in the evening, whether to stay open or not. They probably would have kept a loyal following of customers (who were there, and how) and would not have fueled a vicious circle of scams and poor service that undermined trust in the place... Sigh! Great potential thrown away...

02/09/2025: Today I finally went to try the granita with brioche. Both the first one (a giant cup) and the second one (huge brioches!) were delicious. Everything was good, and the price was quite surprising! The only downside, in my opinion, was the lack of cleanliness. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

02/09/2025: I returned yesterday after exactly a year, and everything about this place has remained the same: rude staff (who ignore teenagers), dirty, long waits, and as usual, the McNuggets in my order were nonexistent and never arrived. Looking at the other reviews, I see that the same mistakes have been made by others, and I don't think you're listening.

31/08/2025: Compared to all the McDonald's, it's the dirtiest. I've never seen so much dirt on the floor and tables, and the bathrooms are inaccessible! Extremely slow service, a 45-minute wait for a salad and a Happy Meal. Not recommended.

24/07/2025: Increíble experiencia en La Tabernetta!!!! Primero tengo que mencionar el lugar, frente al mar con barcos amarrados, el sol bajando sobre el horizonte.... De película. La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!! Y la comida exquisita, con productos regionales de excelencia.Excelente relación precio calidad, y una extensa carta de vinos y postres hacen de la cena una experiencia especial. Gracias a todos!!!! 23/07/2025: Cucina buona ma non eccezionale. Locale curato e personale attento e disponibile. Pizzeria molto buona . Frequentato soprattutto da abitanti di Cefalù: quindi apprezzata in Loco e non solo x turisti
