When you cross the threshold of this place the furnishings take you back to a time when stress was unknown and the hours seemed to go more slowly. This can still happen by treating yourself to a break with friends in front of a wonderful sacher and a coffee or a very hot chocolate with a dollop of cream that seems to resemble the nearby Etna volcano with its snow-capped peak. 11/04/2025: Typical old school café, you come in, drink your coffee standing up and leave - it couldn't be more Italian. The place itself looks a bit worn out as it seems to have been around for a few years, not a fancy hipster hotspot - Sicilians drink here!! The service is simply brusque but effective, understandable given how busy it is in the morning. The coffee itself has a creamy, bitter chocolate note and the price is good. As long as we are in Palermo we will order our first cappuccino here. grace

07/05/2025: Baby Margherita plus frankfurters.. Definitely taken literally! I call to order 4 pizzas, including a baby margherita with frankfurters for my daughter, and this arrives! Literally one frankfurter, one, one euro, one frankfurter, right! Now, it's not for the euro itself, but I really don't think this can be considered a supplement. For posterity the arduous sentence!

09/11/2025: We arrived from Agrigento with high expectations for this pastry shop and café, drawn by its reputation. The experience was overall positive, although there were some areas for improvement. Positives: The reserved parking is convenient and appreciated. The coffee service was good, but the croissants had their ups and downs: the jam was delicious, but the dough seemed average—probably not homemade, or at least not convincing. The mini croissants we ordered later were very good, however. The quality-price ratio was fair: for what we consumed, we spent relatively little. Areas for improvement: The service had some issues. Upon arrival, my girlfriend took a free table with two chairs, but by the time she had time to browse the window, one chair had disappeared (probably taken by another customer). Left with only one chair, we asked if it was possible to dry one of the outside ones that had been soaked by the morning rain, but we were told it would still be damp. We decided to eat at the counter. Meanwhile, a table became available, and after asking permission, we were able to take a chair from there to complete our seating. Furthermore, since we already had croissants in hand from the counter, we sat down to enjoy them, but the coffee and latte macchiato arrived only after about 5-6 minutes, when we were almost finished with our croissants. Conclusion: Coming from Agrigento, we were perhaps expecting a little more in terms of quality, but the quality-price ratio is balanced for both the products and the service offered. A decent pastry shop, without any particular excellence, but honest overall.

30/10/2025: 🤔Average restaurant rather than a restaurant, I would say a fishmonger's restaurant, excellent product because it is a fishmonger's shop with normal prices depending on what you eat, but in compensation it can be okay.

12/10/2025: The restaurant is a bit dated, but the welcome is warm. Open for both lunch and dinner, but reservations are recommended for the latter. The dishes are generous and filling. A good place to eat near the port.

28/07/2025: I come here often. If I had to recommend it, go if you have children. Yes, since there's a playground, it's chaotic, but it's still great for us families. One flaw is the food. We had three pizzas and a hamburger. The hamburger was horrible. The bread was too thick, it looked like a brochette. The hamburger was small, a bit of salad was spit out, and a tiny slice of bacon. To be precise, it was called a bacon burger. The pizzas were nothing special, although you don't know how to make parmigiana. The waiters were very kind, nice, and very active, but the food was nothing special. We only go there to entertain the kids, but it's nothing special anyway. If this place improved, it would be better, and I'd go more often.
