22/11/2025: If I were to rate the food, my review would be positive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately assaulted by the waitress, the irritable blonde, for arriving slightly early for our reservation. Okay, we swallowed and waited patiently outside in the cold. Once seated at our table, we were served by two waitresses, one truly friendly and nice, the other decidedly rude, surly, and very annoyed. Her rudeness and impatience turned what should have been a pleasant evening into one to forget. Paying customers shouldn't be treated that way. But even worse was that, after we pointed out to the waitress her terrible attitude toward us, she pretended to be completely taken aback. This job is tiring and understandable, like all jobs, but if you completely lack empathy, perhaps it would be best to consider changing careers.

10/03/2026: Book with the automatic app. Go through the entire booking process and then send an email, which isn't accepted. If you want to do things "electronic," do it properly! You don't have to indicate availability to book if there's no space available!!! Or do it like the good old days! Answer the phone!

19/01/2026: Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. We ordered three appetizers and they served us everything inside, one plate for each type of appetizer, for completeness' sake, 6 types. Attached are photos of the mussels (9 or 10 to be shared between three) and the meatballs (5 to be shared between three). I didn't post the Venere rice cake (about 8 centimeters in diameter and maybe 4 centimeters high, also to be shared between three), skate (3 pieces), and monkfish (5 cubes, also to be shared between three) because it's not acceptable for three people (total cost 60 euros, one for 20 euros). Another clever trick was the priest-hair dishes used... Three first courses and three second courses, of which I'm only posting the fried food, which for 16 euros is truly laughable. All the portions are truly meager... I won't comment on the spaghetti with clams, which were plain spaghetti with some shells... Unfortunately, I don't feel like recommending this place. Everything is obviously as in the photo, so you can see it. Then I don't know if I was unlucky, who knows.....

06/03/2026: Very good and quality food, but €7 for a seadas (very good, yes, a bill of €25 disappoints me a lot. Too bad... I was enjoying it 😏 but they have a lot of customers, they won't notice the absence 🤷

26/12/2025: I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant with a group of friends. The experience was positive. The place is welcoming and adheres to anti-COVID regulations. The seafood appetizers were excellent, as was the seafood fregola. The roasted cuttlefish and sea bass were also well-cooked. The staff was courteous.

19/12/2025: €65 per person (30 people) to be treated with condescension and arrogance We were looking forward to a pleasant day dedicated to local flavors at Su Carduleo in Abbasanta, but we were greeted by sloppy organization and, even worse, unbelievable arrogance from the kitchen. The menu was promising, but the actual service was disappointing. Appetizers were served in miserable communal bowls, without plates or cutlery, turning the tasting into a hygienic mess. When we pointed out that four of us were literally missing meatballs, the response was a shrug: "If someone asked for seconds, it's not our problem." At €65 per person, we at least expected food to be delivered to everyone. But the climax came with the intervention of the owner and chef, Roberto Serra. Instead of apologizing or making amends, faced with a simple observation, he asked me to leave. A chef who chases away customers because they ask to taste what they paid for is unacceptable. The final straw was hearing his statement, addressed to the entire group: "I'm giving you too much for what you're paying." This isn't professionalism; it's an insult. The rest didn't make up for the situation: meatballs served later and cold inside, cured meats and vegetables in minimal portions (one slice per person, a few small bowls for 30 people), a suckling pig whose meager portion belied the promise, a dessert of questionable flavor. One ray of courtesy: the waiter, who maintained a commendable smile and helpfulness despite the tense atmosphere created by his superiors. In conclusion: this isn't just about small portions or service details. It's about a contemptuous attitude toward customers, who, paying an unpopular price (€65), were told it was already "too much." This lack of respect is worth more than any Gambero Rosso recommendation. Recommended only for those who, in addition to veal mince, also enjoy a good dose of humiliation.

16/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated, the quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. The company lunch with a very poor and minimal menu was further enhanced by the inappropriate intervention of the owner/chef, who rudely and arrogantly argued with a guest at our table over a completely legitimate comment, shared by all the diners, regarding the small quantity of food served for the agreed price.

08/02/2026: I recommend this place for many reasons: the cuisine is TOP, fresh and healthy, good food, the waitresses are courteous and kind. The owner is super professional and very available to customer requests, now half of our events and not... The wait times may be a bit longer, however, because it is a beautiful and well-established place, it gets crowded, but while you wait you can enjoy an aperitif in the green and well-kept garden, ample parking. In case of good weather, I recommend the outside, especially for those with lively children like mine... Highly recommended... Keep up the good work...

24/12/2025: There were two of us and we had a reservation for 1:15 PM. Once we arrived, we sat until 1:40 PM without anyone coming to take our orders. Around that time, six more customers arrived, and after about a 30-minute wait, the waiter took their orders first. At that point, we decided to leave. We're very sorry, because the food has always been excellent, but we hope the staff improves in their organization and customer service. Otherwise, unfortunately, you'll have lost two loyal customers.
