14/08/2025: The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, helping me find a vegan option even though it wasn't on the menu. I had an excellent Lentu bread stuffed with a wrap and a peach estate, for €9.50. The interior is minimalist but livened up by good music. They also have outdoor tables for those who prefer to sit outside on the street. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Cabras, where you can take a short stroll to enjoy the town's beauty after dinner. It looks like a really great find. 03/08/2025: We stumbled upon Thomas somewhat by chance, and this trattoria was a real surprise. The food was AMAZING!! I absolutely recommend going there. Everything was incredibly good, even the simplest things like the tomatoes: the true flavor and aroma of garden tomatoes. I recommend the stewed goat meat and the pardule. The owner is also really kind. Five well-deserved stars!

29/07/2025: Excellent food served courteously at a fair price! Typical Sardinian dishes and more, always accompanied by a charming anecdote told by Valter. By consulting the owners, you can also order game or other special dishes, unique and hard to find elsewhere.

05/08/2025: We stopped for lunch while crossing Sardinia. We savored the authentic local flavors. The food and service were spectacular. I've marked it as a point of interest on Google Maps. It will be a regular stop whenever we're in the area.

03/08/2025: A restaurant with excellent Sardinian cuisine. Everything from the starters to the dessert is delicious. The Fregola with sausage and vegetables and the suckling pig are spectacular. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommended.

06/09/2025: My wife and I were passing through Ghilarza on vacation, and we decided to stop for lunch. It was a truly excellent choice. The place was very nice and clean, the staff were extremely kind and courteous. We had trofie alla carlofotina, which was truly delicious, along with excellent sea bass sushi. Excellent! If I'm ever in the area again, it'll definitely be a stop.

15/09/2025: It was supposed to be an authentic dinner. It was a complete disappointment, considering Sardinian cuisine can be so delicious. Parpadelle al ragù di Cinghiale: indefinable pieces of meat in tomato puree, donkey, wild boar, and venison cooked to death. Tagliatta was hard and stringy, carelessly piled on the plate. Mailaletto from the day before was tough with a burnt crust. Warm white wine. Once and never again; a cheese sandwich at home is more enjoyable. Dr. U. Schnepf

12/09/2025: Absolutely authentic Sardinian cuisine. Food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is amazing and if you get a table inside only you should still take it. It’s an amazing experience. Tiramisu and the onion are out of this world. Thank you 🙏❤️

30/08/2025: The food was quality, the fish fresh, but the first course was salty—spaghetti with clams and bottarga. I didn't like the dessert, a semifreddo—it was cloying.

29/08/2025: My husband and I went there one evening to try a new place in Cabras. The atmosphere was simple but welcoming, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had two first courses, two second courses, and a seadas (a typical Sicilian dish) shared between us, along with a bottle of wine, and it was a fair price. Everything was delicious. We're used to traveling, and we were pleasantly surprised. In fact, we're going back tonight :)! A second course is well-deserved!

19/08/2025: An absolutely welcoming place in a village with typical architecture and ancient basalt walls. The village's history is linked to the construction of the dam (dismantled and rebuilt identically to prevent it from being submerged by the waters and disappearing). The owner welcomes you in Italian and English and offers a double menu. The local products are divine, a visual delight and a taste explosion. The presentation is perfect. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, and the humorous wall decor will delight you. The terrace is unique; I invite you to visit. The prices are very affordable, the plates are generous, and the glasses are well-filled with house beer or local wine.

26/08/2025: We ate very well! The charcuterie board with the cheese is generous and of good quality. The same goes for the spritzes.

21/08/2025: A pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and kitchen, offering first and second courses in addition to pizza. The thin, crispy pizza is good, although the mozzarella isn't exceptional. We tried the fresh pasta with mussels, clams, and bottarga with cherry tomatoes, which was very good. The prices are reasonable; I'd recommend it for a casual evening. Friendly staff.

19/08/2025: Delicious, light pizza. Isola beers are very good. There were two of us, and we had to wait from 9:50 PM to 10:30 PM for our pizzas, but the place was busy on a Sunday evening, so we figured we'd have to wait. It's a shame, though, that the pizzas arrived 5-10 minutes apart.

11/09/2025: It's no longer the Sestante of a few years ago. The cuisine has deteriorated significantly, and the increased prices don't match the quality of the service. It's a shame it used to be a good place to stay in this area! Now it's in line with the local tourist offerings: lacking in personality, with mediocre quality. For example, among the chef's six imaginative appetizers, there was also a potato parmentier, a mashed potato topped with bottarga. I was very disappointed by this idea, which only served to increase the restaurant's revenue.

09/09/2025: A pleasant discovery! We were passing through on our way to Belvi and decided to stop for a quick lunch. We were welcomed by a beautiful place that's halfway between modern and vintage. They immediately brought us the menu, and the selection was truly extensive. We wanted to try a little bit of everything, from traditional cured meats to beef steak. My favorite was definitely the radiolina with ricotta and lemon flavored with truffle, but everything was really good. Another fun thing was playing the board games provided by the place while waiting between courses. There were four of us, and we played snippets. The lunch was excellent and the quality/price ratio was fair. The girls were kind and very welcoming!

07/09/2025: The only restaurant we found open on Sundays in Laconi, and we couldn't have found a better one. The menu is original and extensive, the food delicious, and the staff is great too. Highly recommended.
