23/12/2023: We come to the motorhome site in Marina di Tertenia in the early and late season, so it's a good idea to go to Samola for lunch. As often as we've eaten there, it's always tasted very good, whether it's fish, meat or a variety of pasta dishes a pleasure and also very cheap. Gianni and his team are excellent hosts We are already looking forward to the next trip there

Clean place, friendly staff and owners who make you feel like part of the family. Every summer it is a pleasure to return to be their guests! Beautiful place, facing the beach, in the cool of the Ogliastra evenings. ADVISED !!

27/09/2023: Ci abbiamo cenato due volte, prenotando poche ore prima. La prenotazione è assolutamente raccomandabile. Il servizio è molto efficiente e cordiale. Il responsabile di sala è molto attento, onnipresente, efficientissimo, dai modi sempre squisiti. Abbiamo provato soprattutto le tipiche specialità della zona, rimanendo molto soddisfatti. Provenienti da Bolzano, i costi ci sono sembrati molto adeguati, corretti, forse perfino inferiori alla media rispetto ad altri più “blasonati”. Il locale è informale, abbastanza semplice ma non sempliciotto e certamente molto curato, sia nei dettagli che nella pulizia. Ci si potrebbe andare tutte le sere e si riuscirebbe a mangiare sempre qualcosa di diverso, anche la pizza (che non ho provato ma dall’aspetto e da altri commenti pare sia notevole!). Non posso che raccomandare questo ristorante, certamente molto, ma molto meglio di altri che vantano una vista migliore, ma solo quella ! L’anno prossimo spero di ritrovarvi, grazie.

29/12/2023: Quite a selection of wines, the beer selection can be greatly improved. The prices are quite high, I don't think it's worth repeating. The best thing about the place is the internal garden, very beautiful.

03/04/2024: I would like to point out that I usually refrain from giving negative reviews to various bars/restaurants in which something did not go well, but in this case I think it is my duty to warn the various users about the lack of transparency of the place. On Easter Monday, I and 9 other people went to Il Nido dell'Aquila, a restaurant that we had contacted by telephone and also booked on behalf of two other friends who unfortunately were ill in the morning and were unable to come. As soon as we entered the restaurant, practically even before being welcomed, we were told that we would also have to pay the entire sum that the two absent people would have had to pay. So, I would have understood the payment of a small fee to cover the preparation of certain dishes (which would not have been thrown away anyway, such as cured meats, olives, etc.), but paying the entire sum seemed really excessive to me, also because something of the this must necessarily be made clear first given that only cash is accepted at the time of payment "due to the fact that the POS does not take". In all this, at other tables next to ours more people were added than what had been established at the time of booking, but here no inconvenience for the staff who "had to previously prepare some courses" (obviously in this case the gentleman paid his extra share). In short, not a positive experience because we literally felt robbed and I assure you that we didn't eat the extra 100 euros we paid, that's it.

19/12/2023: The Corporation Pescatori sale has moved from the location of production near to the beach to the porto of touristico (habour - where the ferry goes to mainland). If you go to the location of production you will only find an Restaurant with typical menu you can find everywhere when going to an restaurant chioscodiponente.it/menu The reception or infopoint to get a table was a little bit unfriendly. Many tables where free at lunchtime (ca. 13:45 on tuesday) and her booking book was looking empty, but she said all tables have an reservation...So closed to 80 tables with ca. 15 tables with people on it. Maybe they where waiting for the big tourist tour buses? She also did not answer that the room to choose the dishes and delicious fishsalads by your own has moved to another place. She offers us the menu to take away! I had the feeling of catching the tourists there and only mainstream... But if you go to the new place you will find fantastic food on simple plastic dishes, tables and chairs. From loobster, gambas, clamari, sardina, red snapper, and and and...also to take away !!! It's really a pitty that the location of production is only the mainstream restaurant anymore, because there is a touristic path through the fish farm you can take. But if you like you can go there to take the tour and eat normal sea food dishes like everywhere or go to the new place at the harbour. At the end it was ok from the reception at the restaurant at the location of production to send us away...so we found the new place with the fantastic sea food we knew from the past time...
