03/01/2026: We stopped for an aperitif, 1 glass, a very poor watered-down Spritz. We bought a packet of crisps because the owner, uncommunicative and almost annoyed, didn't bring anything. Tourists are probably not welcome.

16/11/2025: Ordered takeaway pizzas twice, delicious. Also had a gluten free pizza base available!

26/10/2025: I have very mixed feelings about this place. The service was very nice, friendly, helpful, and patient, even with those who didn't speak the language. One thing we weren't impressed with was the food. We ordered fish and unfortunately, it was very dry. Perhaps it's a regional difference; in Poland, we're used to fried fish being juicy, and that's the only reason we didn't like it very much.

11/10/2025: Utmost respect for the ingredients and tradition while creating a creative and fresh experience. Highly recommended for an excellent dinner in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, thanks also to the welcoming and courteous staff.

02/10/2025: We stayed here for two nights. The room was super clean, and the bathroom had everything you need. Only the mattress was past its best. The Italian breakfast was more than adequate. There were plain and stuffed croissants, various cakes, sponge fingers, yogurt, and muesli. Drinks included various coffee specialties, tea, orange juice, and water. So, nothing stands in the way of a good start to the day. We like the "isolation" and the proximity to nature.

22/09/2025: Private parking. Quiet location. Garden with olives and lime trees. Good mattresses. Very good air conditioning. Clean room. Small terrace. Breakfast is a Sardinian sweet, savory option for an additional charge. Unfortunately, no dinner is served. Restaurants are nearby, but due to the lack of street lighting and the busy road, you have to drive to get to them. The sandy beach is a 10-minute walk along a bamboo-lined path.

26/11/2025: Oysters are the jewel in the crown, the sea on your plate and on your palate. We travel many miles every summer to savor them, but it's truly worth it. See you next summer.

14/11/2025: I went for lunch two weeks ago. The appetizer and main course were good. I had to wait unreasonably long for a grilled fish dish, which, after asking for it, arrived cold. I reported it and they took it away only to reheat it; obviously, it was inedible when it was brought back. The cost isn't worth the food consumed.

03/12/2025: After ten years, we've rediscovered the same beauty and skill. A marvel.

26/11/2025: A lovely place to spend the night at a reasonable price; the only downside in our case was the mattress, which could use replacing. The breakfast included in the room was amazing. The surroundings, atmosphere, and service were all very good.

01/02/2026: A wonderful experience surrounded by nature, everything was delicious 😋 A special shout out to Alessandra, our guide for the excursion. The places were truly unique. The food was tasty and varied, with many courses, all excellent. We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much! ♡

11/01/2026: We chose Niala as a farm for lunch, as it's well-publicized and serves local dishes. As for the food, we weren't particularly pleased: the appetizers were good and generously portioned; the problem came with the first courses: the pasta lacked salt and the sauce was nothing special. The second courses, on the other hand, while good, were very salty. As for the desserts, there's nothing to complain about; they're delicious Sardinian pastries. The location, however, is very beautiful, as the farm is surrounded by greenery and close to the river. The service was good; we were welcomed by the staff who seated us near the fireplace. In conclusion, while it's not a terrible farm, the experience we had wasn't commensurate with the price we paid.

21/01/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch, fast and on time. Very nice place, excellent food, and extremely friendly staff.

26/12/2025: Upon arrival, we were presented with a menu that was as thick as a volume from the Treccani encyclopedia. We ordered a fish appetizer for two, which was decent in flavor but was served cold. The menu included two pages of pizzas. Since it's a pizzeria, I asked for a pizza, but they told me that pizza was only available for dinner. We ordered spaghetti with clams and asked if it was possible to also have spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper. I was told that because it was very busy, it was impossible to accommodate my off-menu request. The question arose spontaneously: "To make spaghetti with clams, the base is usually not garlic and oil. Should I refrain from adding clams and add chili pepper? Is it really that complicated?" Certainly less so than adding cream to tagliolini with squid ink. In conclusion, I won't be returning. Disappointing experience.

01/11/2025: Fantastic location, breathtaking views of the Santa Maria Navarrese marina. The table setting is well-designed and appropriate for the type of restaurant. It's a shame about the constant and annoying presence of bees, but that's not the restaurant's fault; in fact, they've used natural remedies to try to limit their presence (a gesture much appreciated). For appetizers, we had BBQ octopus with potato and turmeric cream and cuttlefish fillet with pea cream. Both dishes were spectacular, perhaps this raised our expectations, which were then dashed by the first courses. Pink sea bream tortello with truffle. The truffle flavor was nonexistent. I doubt the tortello was made with fresh pasta, and the filling was absolutely tasteless. Served with a broth that contained only the oil floating on the surface. The most expensive dish on the menu (€24), I was deeply disappointed by it—a shame, because I had very high expectations. Gnocchi with clams and bottarga was a complete failure, perhaps a bad night for a first course. The gnocchi were cooked beyond the allotted time and were completely tasteless. I don't know how that's possible, given that bottarga is supposed to dominate a dish like this. They were served very watery and so disjointed from the rest that my companion didn't finish her plate. A real shame. Apart from the ice cream for dessert, it's unthinkable to have only one option for people who can't eat nuts. The sorbet and cheesecake, however, were very good!

27/10/2025: What a wonderful view, service, kindness! I was delighted with everything even though we came during siesta and only the bar was open. We had a glass of excellent wine and they brought us wonderful bruschetta! We will come again for dinner!

04/10/2025: Very welcoming place, the staff is attentive to the customer's needs... the pizza is super super authentic, I can finally digest it thanks to Marco the pizza chef who is very good 👏🏻👏🏻.... I recommend this restaurant 😊

18/10/2025: Nice place, very friendly and fast service. Beautiful charming interior (part of the train station), delicious strong coffee (soy milk available) and pistachio cream croissants, and a perfect place to watch local morning busy life.

03/10/2025: A true point of reference, and a meeting place... Their kindness stems from years of experience and service... For a good breakfast, a quick meal, or a simple coffee (always excellent), this is a must-visit. Marcello's experience, combined with that of Mauro and Marco, makes "Bar Sa Caffettera" the ideal place to feel at home.

18/10/2025: Our son was here with his girlfriend in 2018. He recommended the restaurant to us with roughly these words: "It looks pretty run-down. Downstairs, a long counter where the village men with their faces are hanging around. Upstairs, a surprisingly nice terrace. But the food is really good and the people are really nice. We were truly spoiled. If you pass by, go for it." Well, we passed by yesterday, October 17, 2025. I wrote to our son: "They must have invested heavily. The restaurant is top-notch. The village men have also changed or are hanging around somewhere else. But two things have remained the same: The food is among the best we've had in Sardinia. Gnocchi with goat ragu and polpette, also made with goat, on a bean purée. Sensational. And the owner and his son were great. Thanks for the recommendation." We recommend this restaurant. For the hearty cuisine. Because of the warmth of the owner family. Grazie mille.
