27/02/2026: For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount.
This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️

Typical Sardinian dishes on the menu.
Arrived almost at closing time and outside of the tourist season, but still received a warm welcome.

23/04/2026: Traditional cuisine, prepared as it should be, truly delicious. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy to move around. I'd like to highlight the bathroom: large, comfortable, and designed for ease of use. A restaurant that deserves recognition for its quality and attention to detail.
18/04/2026: Tourist trap!
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the restaurant. We got served rotten food and suffered from a severe food poisoning afterwards. Once we complained that it tasted off the owner just yelled at us infront of the other guests. It is very unfortunate because the ambience ans position is nice but due to the rude owner and lack of good quality food, I would suggest to give it a big pass!
