18/10/2025: Nice place, very friendly and fast service. Beautiful charming interior (part of the train station), delicious strong coffee (soy milk available) and pistachio cream croissants, and a perfect place to watch local morning busy life.

For a good breakfast, a quick meal, or a simple coffee (always excellent), this is a must-visit. Marcello's experience, combined with that of Mauro and Marco, makes "Bar Sa Caffettera" the ideal place to feel at home.

09/10/2025: I had dinner this evening with my wife at this unique location in the seaside village of Arbatax. We enjoyed seafood appetizers, unique in their combination of the freshness of the Ogliastra sea and local fruit. The quality of the raw fish is excellent, and the seafood flavor is very pronounced, evoking ancient seafood flavors that are now hard to find. The staff is friendly and professional, always attentive to the customer's needs. I recommend it to anyone who wants to rediscover authentic flavors and unique pairings.

01/11/2025: Fantastic location, breathtaking views of the Santa Maria Navarrese marina. The table setting is well-designed and appropriate for the type of restaurant. It's a shame about the constant and annoying presence of bees, but that's not the restaurant's fault; in fact, they've used natural remedies to try to limit their presence (a gesture much appreciated). For appetizers, we had BBQ octopus with potato and turmeric cream and cuttlefish fillet with pea cream. Both dishes were spectacular, perhaps this raised our expectations, which were then dashed by the first courses. Pink sea bream tortello with truffle. The truffle flavor was nonexistent. I doubt the tortello was made with fresh pasta, and the filling was absolutely tasteless. Served with a broth that contained only the oil floating on the surface. The most expensive dish on the menu (€24), I was deeply disappointed by it—a shame, because I had very high expectations. Gnocchi with clams and bottarga was a complete failure, perhaps a bad night for a first course. The gnocchi were cooked beyond the allotted time and were completely tasteless. I don't know how that's possible, given that bottarga is supposed to dominate a dish like this. They were served very watery and so disjointed from the rest that my companion didn't finish her plate. A real shame. Apart from the ice cream for dessert, it's unthinkable to have only one option for people who can't eat nuts. The sorbet and cheesecake, however, were very good!

27/10/2025: What a wonderful view, service, kindness! I was delighted with everything even though we came during siesta and only the bar was open. We had a glass of excellent wine and they brought us wonderful bruschetta! We will come again for dinner!

Downstairs, a long counter where the village men with their faces are hanging around. Upstairs, a surprisingly nice terrace. But the food is really good and the people are really nice. We were truly spoiled. If you pass by, go for it." Well, we passed by yesterday, October 17, 2025. I wrote to our son: "They must have invested heavily. The restaurant is top-notch. The village men have also changed or are hanging around somewhere else. But two things have remained the same: The food is among the best we've had in Sardinia. Gnocchi with goat ragu and polpette, also made with goat, on a bean purée. Sensational. And the owner and his son were great. Thanks for the recommendation." We recommend this restaurant. For the hearty cuisine. Because of the warmth of the owner family. Grazie mille.

03/11/2025: Sardinian menu but with commercial products, starters with ham and bacon from the supermarket, coccio prenas and house peppers, good culurgiones but seasoned with garlic, good malloreddus, I was expecting the suckling pig but the porchetta arrived, not bad, good cacciatore meat but a little too salty, paid 50 euros, I was expecting more typical products, too bad.

02/11/2025: We were at this enchanting place today. The scenery was beautiful, the hike was lovely, and the lunch was excellent, featuring fresh ingredients. A special thank you because they made my celiac son the same dishes, from appetizer to dessert, just like us (he was absolutely delighted). Congratulations! 😉

15/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant right on the beach. Truly well-designed and a feast for the eyes. The food was excellent on several days. They even cooked me a special vegetarian meal because the menu didn't offer anything. The service is very friendly and speaks good English! We highly recommend this restaurant, especially the pasta with lamb ragù.

11/10/2025: Gorgeous place on the beach. Excellent pizza made with high-quality ingredients. Mixed fried fish with fresh local fish. Excellent wine. What more could you ask for? Not to mention the hospitality of the owners, wonderful people with a wealth of experience.

05/10/2025: We got pizza here two nights in a row! As a vegetarian, I had a huge selection (at least half of it), and the potato one was especially delicious! We had a truly wonderful meal. My only tip for the owner is that Google said they opened at 5:30 PM, but they didn't open until 6:00 PM 😊

07/09/2025: Super delicious pizza with a crispy base and very friendly service. There was a large selection of pizza slices, and the prices (€2.80 for a salami slice) were really reasonable. We highly recommend it.

Definitely worth returning (we drove 80 km to return two nights later 😄). 2025 update: New management, renovated restaurant. We're delighted to return; the 4 Mori pizza is still very good. Prices have obviously gone up, but that's normal with inflation.
