26/10/2025: Best ice cream ever. Highly recommended. Chocolate with rum – sensational, goat's ricotta with honey, or salted caramel – every ice cream flavor we tried was incredibly delicious. Three scoops for €4.50. If you're in the area, this is the best gelateria I know.

22/10/2025: This is truly the best ice cream I've ever had in Sardinia. Incredibly delicious! You really shouldn't miss it. And don't worry about the goat flavor. You'll barely notice it's goat's milk. Definitely try it!

20/10/2025: Timasù is a gem in the center of Baunei: an artisanal gelato shop with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. A refined atmosphere and friendly staff. Each flavor expresses Sardinia with simplicity and passion. Definitely worth a try.

12/10/2025: A restaurant where a rustic ambiance meets traditional Sardinian cuisine. An absolute insider tip where authentic, delicious Sardinian dishes are served. There's no menu; instead, various dishes are served in several courses. A highlight is the roof terrace, narrow and winding but utterly charming. The staff are all very friendly. But be careful! You won't be allowed in without a reservation. The staircase offers a nice sense of tradition; it's like walking through a small museum.

24/11/2025: We went to this home-restaurant for my husband's birthday. I couldn't have made a better choice! I was curious to try something different from the usual Agriturismo menu, but without straying too far from traditional cuisine. After much research, I decided to book at Itala, who immediately took care to fully accommodate our tastes and needs! Their restaurant feels like home, but it's not something you'll immediately realize! The table they had for us was beautifully set, even with a beautiful vase of flowers. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Itala's husband, Daniele, served and accompanied us throughout the meal, proving himself to be an excellent chef and a very gracious host. Every dish we ate was a discovery of flavors, tradition, and innovation. Itala is a special person whom I was immensely pleased to meet! They truly know how to pamper their guests, conveying a sense of "family dining" that I've never found anywhere else. This home restaurant's menu is always changing, adapting to the guests' needs, seasonality, and Itala's creativity. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers, each more delicious than the last. Locally sourced cold cuts, fried eggplant, olives, avocado hummus, crostoni with Philadelphia, cherry tomatoes, and avocado, fava beans with exceptional peas, grilled polenta with gorgonzola and mushrooms, casascedu... For starters, Itala's handmade culurgiones, and a fregola with zucchini, saffron, and sausage that was out of this world! The main course was equally delicious: meatloaf with cheese and peppers, baked potatoes. The dessert was incredible: handmade seadas, with cow's cheese (a lighter version) and eucalyptus honey. And that's not all, because we also received some amazing pastries and a wide selection of liqueurs and amari. I can't recommend this place highly enough, because I can't wait to return! I left my heart here. Thank you!!

08/12/2025: Excellent restaurant in Ilbono, Ogliastra. Exquisite food, intimate atmosphere, and Salvatore, the owner, is truly talented and professional. To start, he brought us warm bread drizzled with olive oil, which, despite being very simple, was truly delicious! He suggested a rich meat-based appetizer and truly excellent culurgiones with tomato sauce. To finish, we enjoyed excellent artisanal gelato with orange and nougat. The red wine and grappa are also excellent. What can I say? If you're passing through, definitely stop by and indulge in these, and so many other, excellent dishes and flavors!

14/12/2025: We went to Ristorante S'Antica in Tortolì and had a wonderful experience. We started with an aperitif and immediately had a great time: warm welcome, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. Given the good start, we decided to stay for dinner, and we made the right choice: the first courses were truly delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful, and were enjoyed by my wife, me, and even our son. The location is beautiful, original, and well-maintained, perfect for both an aperitif and a relaxed lunch like ours. The service was friendly and professional; you could feel their passion for what they do. They were truly excellent, and my compliments to the entire staff. Highly recommended.

Her passion and talent are reflected in every single dish. ​The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere where I immediately felt at ease. You can sense great attention to detail. ​The Dishes: A Perfect Trio ​The dishes are not only excellent in flavor, but also beautifully presented and, of course, delicious! Each course was a true feast for the eyes and the palate. ​An experience worth repeating and recommending to everyone!

06/12/2025: This restaurant serves Sardinian meat-based cuisine (they no longer serve fish, contrary to what some older online reviews suggest), refined yet simple—a very pleasant combination. The service is attentive and unobtrusive. A decent selection of quality wines. The restaurant occupies a small room with limited seating. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, thanks to the tasteful music played at just the right volume. The bill is fair, considering the excellent quality of the food. I highly recommend it.

13/11/2025: I don't know what to say: it was an experience. Absolutely delicious and something completely different. The menu changes every week. In my opinion, it's on the pricier side, but definitely worth a visit. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean.

12/10/2025: The pizzas are exceptional in terms of flavor and toppings. Exceptional calamari, fabulous Culurgiones d'Ogliastra, never tasted anything so good, and I'm Sardinian! Superb semifreddo with walnuts, figs, and honey. Excellent value. Everything was served promptly, with professionalism and a friendly smile by Cinzia. Kudos to the manager of Pappa e Fui for the organization and for the unique and delicious dishes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tortolì and the surrounding area... but I'd also pop over from the regional capital Cagliari for a tasty weekend!
