Three weeks back in 2009, my wife and I were pregnant. It wasn't very busy back then, the owners (I don't know if they're the same ones) were fantastic, lots of conversation and attention to my wife. The food was fantastic. Now my son is almost 14, and sooner or later I'll stop by Janas again to show him where he spent his first holiday in Sardinia...

We were at the restaurant, 8.10.25. Absolutely top service, delicious food, my wife had the Janas special pasta with mint and tomatoes, I had pizza. A hit for us. Thanks and we will look forward to next time.

We booked with certain expectations after reading the reviews, the hotel description, and analyzing the photos and price. Our expectations were clearly met. We don't want to dwell on the technical details, but we would like to emphasize that we were impressed by the genuine friendliness of all the staff. Rebecca has a friendliness that is not just professional but comes from the heart. Alex and Federica and their colleagues from the restaurant made our experience in the restaurant very comfortable. Even the ladies responsible for cleaning were infectiously cheerful and friendly, so we felt very comfortable overall. We were torn between 3-star and 4-star hotels and chose this one because of its location. A perfect match, because we somehow believe that 3 stars guarantee authenticity and naturalness. About the restaurant: The food is truly delicious, and the staff is super friendly. You may have to wait a bit sometimes, and the dishes don't always arrive at the table at the same time, but the quality and ambiance almost make up for it. We'd be happy to go back!

We only used the restaurant, as we had a vacation rental nearby. From the very first visit, we were impressed by the incredibly attentive staff. The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We highly recommend it! Warm regards to the gentlemen and women who served on the two evenings we were there.

27/02/2026: For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount. This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️
