03/01/2026: We had dinner on January 2nd. Tuna tartare, baby octopus alla diavola, and braised polenta. Everything was excellent. The welcome was what you'd expect in places like this. Delicious desserts, and a friendly, attentive atmosphere. I'll be back.

10/06/2026: As has been described many times before... Cool, alternative bar/bistro. Fair prices, especially considering the fairly central location. Service is good and very friendly. English is spoken. Some people here overrate the square; in my opinion, it's nothing special for Italy. But it's still nice. Overall, a rather quiet spot in Cagliari.

03/06/2026: Nice cocktails and friendly service (not too good at English). I didn't like the Dark side of the moon cocktail, but the pisco sour was nice (with some local mirto). Sadly they didnt have the ingredients for a white russian.

17/07/2026: A cozy dining room with a very peaceful atmosphere, very friendly service…the food is delicious, some of the best I've had in Cagliari, without a doubt it's a must-visit restaurant that you can't miss when visiting the city.

16/07/2026: Compliments to the chef! We ordered the fried polenta, parmigiano reggiano ice cream, tagliolini with black truffle and ricotta gnocchi. Every dish was exceptional beautifully prepared and full of flavor. It was truly the best dinner we have ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant :)

13/06/2026: We stayed at this hotel for one night because we were leaving the next day. The rooms are simply furnished and could be cleaned better, but both the staff and breakfast were good. We also dined at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed a very good meal. The dishes were well-prepared, and the restaurant staff was very efficient and courteous.

19/07/2026: Disappointing place. The google photos of the menu apparently belong to the previous administration (according to the waitress) and are no longer served. Why keep them, then? The breakfast/brunch offering was poor and the service was slow. One croissant i tried was good though!

10/08/2026: We had dinner on Saturday evening, three adults and a child, and we ate very well. The staff was super friendly, even during the reservation process because we requested a vegan menu, and they were always ready and attentive to everything during dinner. A typical Sardinian menu for three, plus a vegan one for me. Generous portions for everyone, and excellent variety and quality. Lots of appetizers, two first courses, two second courses with sides, and finally fruit and dessert with coffee and myrtle (wine and water included). The price was also very fair: €40 per person for two adults, €15 for me (vegan) (and I ate plenty) and €20 for the child (who still ate the adult menu). Congratulations to everyone, I recommend it.

03/07/2026: After trying so many pizzerias in Cagliari, I can say without hesitation that this one is on another level. Everything here is crafted to perfection: the dough is extraordinary, incredibly light and easy to digest, the ingredients are incredibly fresh and top-quality, and the pizzas, both classic and gourmet, are truly exceptional. Other pizzerias I've tried simply can't match the same quality and attention to detail. Here, you can feel the passion in every pizza served. A special shout-out also goes to the waitresses, always smiling, professional, and extremely kind, especially Titti, whose friendliness makes the experience even more enjoyable. Finally, the desserts are spectacular: fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. It's one of those places where you leave wanting to return. Kudos to the entire staff: for me, it's the best pizzeria in Cagliari, without a doubt.

09/08/2026: Good food, on the pricey side compared to other restaurants we have eaten at. But certainly still reasonable. Somehow, we weren't completely moved by Bacchixeddu. I'm not entirely sure what that was. The staff were super friendly and the fish was cleaned nicely at the table.

20/07/2026: I happened upon this restaurant because I was staying at the nearby Hotel Regina Margherita. For a moment, I was shocked to see the chef in the dining room, a striking resemblance to Massimo Bottura, whom I'm a regular at at all his Modena restaurants: Francescana, Cavallino, and Gatto Verde. With all due respect to Chef Pomata, the resemblance is limited to physical appearance; it would be unfair to compare his cuisine.... However, I would suggest that Chef Pomata be less daring with his blends of flavors. The ingredients are certainly excellent, but they lose their freshness when paired with questionable and overpowering flavors. In short, "to much"...as if to say, a fresh ingredient is like a beautiful woman, it doesn't need excessive makeup to improve... quite the opposite. Chef Massimo, forgive me for mentioning him, and Luigi, he has so much potential to express... he's certainly passionate about catering!
