04/05/2026: A very nice restaurant with beautiful presentation. The food is good and the service is pleasant.
The only downside: the teppanyaki lamb chops are completely uninteresting. They are tiny and very expensive. Stick to the sushi specialties.
01/05/2026: Today for lunch I decided to try this restaurant in Quartu Sant'Elena. Quality sushi with the freshest fish and unique dishes with sophisticated pairings. The service is fast and the staff is very kind and attentive. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back.

06/01/2026: We found pieces of glass or ceramic inside the uramaki (white piece in the photo).
We immediately alerted the waitress, but received no apology or anything else. We complained at the cashier, only to be told "there's nothing we can do about it," claiming we still had to pay for everything.
Never again, terrible.
03/01/2026: The place wasn't very clean. The tuna was taken away. I can't even begin to describe the smell and color. It wasn't at all fresh! The all-you-can-eat menu had very little choice.

12/04/2026: Great experience at Sushi Tao. Everything was very good, with well-prepared dishes, enjoyable flavors, and an overall satisfying quality. You can tell there is real attention to the preparation, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The only aspect that could be improved is the cooking smell being a bit noticeable in the dining room, which takes away slightly from the overall experience. Other than that, absolutely recommended.

03/05/2026: I had lunch here with family for my graduation party (5 adults and 2 children). Without a reservation, they found me a seat right away. Everything was very good, from the sushi to the fries. Only the meat was a little rare. I'll be back.

20/04/2026: The best sushi ever! I've been coming here regularly for years now, and there's never been a time when I haven't had a divine meal. Fresh, quality ingredients, perfect combinations of food, with surprising flavors that blend seamlessly with the vibrant colors of the dishes. Speed, friendliness, and courtesy are the hallmarks. Kudos to all the staff and the truly friendly and approachable owner!! Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: Tried it this evening for a quick business dinner. The place is well-decorated, and the service seemed attentive and friendly. I had a plate of Catalan-style shrimp and a plate of spaghetti with clams and bottarga, both good, I must say. A word of warning: the sliced bread and the carasau bread didn't seem particularly fresh. With water and house wine, it was €37. Fairly reasonable, I'd say.

10/05/2026: I can now write this review after years of trust and dinner after dinner. In my opinion, it's the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in Cagliari. I'll start with the negatives: the place isn't anything special, not enough to take a photo of, but not enough to make you feel uncomfortable either; I'd say it's average.
The best is the sushi and sashimi (especially shrimp and scampi), which, although limited, show off their quality.
A safe choice when I want to eat sushi 🍣

11/01/2026: I've lived in the area for a while, but paradoxically, I only tried this place today.
What can I say: an incredible discovery!
I ordered takeout, and the service was prompt and excellent.
But the real surprise was the quality of the food: incredibly fresh fish and exceptional flavors, well above average.
Knowing I have such good sushi so close to home will be my downfall... highly recommended!
05/01/2026: Truly exceptional sushi! Every dish we've tried has been delicious. We often order takeout and have always been very satisfied. Today we tried the all-you-can-eat option and the value for money is simply unbeatable. The staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

01/07/2025: Elegante, confortevole, intimo. Perfetto per una cena di coppia, il cibo e oa cucina si differenza nettamente dai soliti all you can eat, e infatti non lo è. Spendendo qualche euro in più (ma anche lo stesso tanto) che si paga in un all you can eat, si ha la possibilità di mangiare a un' altro livello. Tra i migliori in assoluto a Cagliari.

11/05/2026: Terrible experience. After a two-hour wait, not even a quarter of our order arrived. The food was poor quality. Every dish tasted like frozen, skimpy food. We decided to pay and leave. At the cashier, I pointed out the missing dishes, but the lady replied, "They'll arrive." I told her I couldn't wait another hour, and she presented me with an €80 bill for three of us. No apology, and she didn't even bother to make us coffee, which they said was included in the price. In conclusion, the food was poor, and the staff was disorganized and absent.
An experience not to be repeated.
