El Burrito in Cagliari is okay. The burrito tasted okay, nothing special, but it was well made. A nice change of pace when you want something different from pizza or pasta.
16/09/2025: Went with my gf for dinner tonight. Had 2 dos equis', a quesadilla, chimichanga and an empanada. Felt like it I was back in Mexico. Everything from the decorations on the wall to the cutlery we ate with felt authentic as. There were other latino patrons as I could hear Spanish, so when the people of the cuisine are eating here, you know it is a good sign. Staff is Mexican family who are very kind. We will be back before we leave our holiday.

The carbonara is simply incredible – creamy, authentic, and bursting with flavor. The calzone is also a delight: crispy, perfectly filled, and typically Italian. You can immediately tell that real Italians cook with passion here.
The atmosphere is warm and authentic; you feel like you're visiting friends. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Sardinia, this is the place to be.

30/09/2025: I didn't want to believe it, a Roman tavern in Selargius, not only is it like being in Rome tasting typical Roman dishes, everything is excellent, I had supplì, courgette flowers, cod fillets and a sublime oxtail stew, compliments to the chef and all the staff

21/09/2025: A very good dinner in a rustic setting with outdoor seating. The menu is set, the food authentic and tasty, especially the roast suckling pig that you can watch rotating on the rotisserie. The owner is a former butcher, and the ingredients are sourced locally.
The appetizers and first courses were also good.
I've read in other reviews that the portions seemed insufficient: for us, they were excellent portions, and even then, the owner came over to ask if we wanted seconds.
Highly recommended.

08/09/2025: Definitely an exorbitant price for a gin and tonic (€13). The quality wasn't stellar enough to justify the price. The service wasn't the best. The staff were constantly on standby at 10:00 PM on a Sunday night, suggesting that customers should leave so they could close. Sure, there are times to respect, I understand, but don't bring me drinks if you already have a certain closing time in mind. I strongly advise against it. Don't set foot in there.

19/09/2025: Delicious local and authentic dishes. We reserved place in advance and were satisfied with this place. It felt authentic, not touristic at all. Be prerared to spend quite a bit of time to get your dishes as they have lots of tables and orders. That is a sign of good and quality food ;)
18/09/2025: Excellent service, prices commensurate with the quality, and even though it was busy, the food didn't take long to arrive. Make a reservation!

The freshest fish counter was visible as soon as we walked in.
We had a mix of appetizers and a first course.
The dishes would have been good if it weren't for the excessive salt in practically everything 😔 we didn't finish the first course because it was too salty.
The lemon/tangerine sorbet was excellent!!!!

Small but perfectly formed.
A fish restaurant in the heart of the city. They offer freshly caught seafood prepared in a variety of ways.
We had the octopus salad with tomatoes and celery, tuna tartar, and fried calamari.
Everything was delicious!
Excellent value for money.
