27/04/2025: We looked forward to eating here last Thursday but the restaurant was closed, even though Google said it should have been open, very disappointed

26/03/2025: Since the owner questions the quality of the review (stating that it would not be constructive because only one star was left) and the truthfulness (insinuating that he did not dine in the restaurant) I am also writing a summary comment. The food is excellent, the service and helpfulness of the staff are not. After having booked by phone at 8pm (this is not possible before) and having gone to the restaurant, I was asked twice in the space of a few seconds by two different waitresses for my name to sit at the table, even though the second waitress had understood that the first had already granted authorization to enter (being literally one meter away). After ordering (I repeat, excellent food) and starting to eat, the empty plates were taken away very quickly (appreciable) but without asking permission. Subsequently when it was asked (to my partner who had finished the main course) despite having received a "yes" as an answer (not being Italian) the waitress asked again abruptly and with an altered voice "can I?" (referring to the empty plate), to which it was repeated again yes (note that the tables are very close and several customers have caught the scene). A very rude behavior, which we preferred not to follow up by pointing out. When paying, the bill was asked at the table from the same waitress who, after a good fifteen minutes, still hadn't brought it. Asking another again we paid and left (I read a similar problem in another review to which the owner replied that most people pay at the counter: I reply that if you are asked for the bill at the table and the waiter replies in the affirmative you pay at the table without much fuss to justify the possible forgetfulness). 28/10/2024: Personal amable y atento, restaurante ocupado pero sin largas esperas. Buena comida, porciones muy grandes. Tenía la milanesa de ternera, que era excelente, y mi marido tenía un filete costillar ojo que era delicioso. Hicimos todo lo posible para comer el plato de queso, pero fallamos. Local a donde nos alojamos. Muchacha encantadora, de Argentina, en recepción con la que charlamos.

21/04/2025: Easter Monday 2025. Incorrectness in respecting the reservation made. We arrived on time but the table had already been assigned to others... No justification but only awareness of the unfairness received.

29/10/2024: Terribile: cibo di qualià bassa, nessuno stuzzichino per accompagnare un drink nemmeno a richiesta (a parte un paio di olive che abbiamo lasciato). L'unica cosa che lo salva è la location nel centro storico.

09/05/2025: Hidden gem, we were here with the family and we really enjoyed everything, a good welcome and efficient service, food fresh and excellent cooked and honestly with the prices around now ( for defrosted food) and absolute bargain. SOL Chicken deluxe a must to try and be ready to get dirty (delicious). Most importantly for a father that my wee little girl really felt welcome and staff was super engaging with her as well. Thank you Sol Cafe team.

28/11/2024: Excellent food, a very interesting and varied menu with seafood first courses that are truly worth it and sandwiches that are simply fantastic. For those who aren't interested in carbohydrates they have meat and fish main courses that will surely satisfy even the most refined palates. We ate an abundant and tasty lobster first course and a super cutlet sandwich accompanied by chips, super satisfied!

19/10/2024: Consigliato da gente del posto. Ottimo prezzo (35 euro). Abbiamo mangiato dignitosamente ma nulla di più. Purtroppo la struttura non è ben tenuta (quasi fatiscente). Onestamente non ci tornerò

19/08/2024: Cena 5 stelle. Prima di tutto voglio sottolineare la squisita cortesia di tutto il personale, dalla cucina al servizio ai tavoli. Se ci fossero più persone così cortesi, saremo tutti più felici. Cibo eccellente. Tutto veramente molto buono. Ma ciò che voglio esaltare è stato un porchetto arrosto MEMORABILE! Eravamo in 25 a cena e TUTTI, sottolineo TUTTI, siamo rimasti completamente soddisfatti della serata, del cibo e del personale. Tra le altre cose, l'ambiente, sulla cima di una collina, col silenzio della natura tutto intorno, ha reso l'esperienza fantastica. Grazie ragazzi e congratulazioni: siete sulla strada giusta: continuate così!

29/03/2025: Cenare da Luigi Pomata è come visitare un museo. È un viaggio culturale, un'esperienza che appaga i sensi. Qualità delle materie prime, cura, maestria, raffinatezza. Un vero maestro.

26/03/2025: Bella location, ambiente moderno e raffinato, menù ricco e variegato con ampia scelta sia di vini che altre bevande alcoliche. Personale molto formale ed efficiente. Abbiamo preso un menù lunch business ovviamente tutto a base di tonno, raviolini, gnocchi e tonno con capperi e zucchine, tutto eccellente. Prezzo per la tipologia di menù molto onesto. Bravi!!

30/12/2024: Disfrutamos de una deliciosa comida aquí una noche. El ambiente de comedor era elegante y pintoresco bajo las luces entre los olivos. Sin duda recomendaría para una buena cena.

29/10/2024: We hebben hier 3x gegeten, elke avond een feest! De eten is uitmuntend van kwaliteit, de wijnen zijn smaakvol. Zowel de vis als het vlees beviel goed. Ook een dessert gaat er hier prima in. Als je voor kwaliteit gaat moet je hier zijn. Het is ook qua prijs heel redelijk.
