A cozy local restaurant with the true spirit of Italian hospitality and a warm, homely atmosphere. The seafood was outstanding – so fresh it felt like it had just been caught. The chef is top-notch, knows his craft, and brings plenty of good humor to the kitchen. A place with real soul – one you’ll definitely want to come back to.

A small, local restaurant with an authentic, welcoming atmosphere, just like home. The seafood was excellent, incredibly fresh—it seemed to have been caught just minutes before. The chef is first-rate, knows what he's doing, and cooks with passion and joy. A place with soul, where you'll gladly return.

We found ourselves by chance while walking around old Taranto and finally found what we were looking for, a simple place... the very kind chef seated us... we ate very well, I had the mixed antipasto to try some of their dishes... the mussels au gratin were really delicious... my husband and my son had the first course, Sardinian gnocchetti with mussels and clams, delicious and finally a grilled and a fried dish, all excellent... a simple place where you eat well at honest prices... what more could you ask for??

The guys are very kind and friendly, the place is clean, welcoming, and the fish is delicious... delicious appetizers, an amazing first course, and delicious fried fish. We'll definitely be back... and last but not least, fast service... and reasonable prices! From Salento to Taranto is just a stone's throw away 😂😂😂

MADONNA DEL CARMELO… It's wonderful! The pasta is delicious and the sauce is perfectly cooked. The menu is rich and everything is fresh!! Everything is very cheap and we had a truly wonderful evening. Compliments to the owner and the staff.

A modern, welcoming place with attention to every detail. 💯 The endless variety on display captivates every time you enter, always varied and original with so many tempting new creations. 😋 The entire staff is very professional, honest, and friendly, always assisting customers with kindness and, above all, clarity! I've personally had the opportunity to taste several of their products over time and I think they're truly the best. 🔝 The icing on the cake is Gaetano & Marika, who, in my opinion, positively characterize the business, making it unique through their evident passion and dedication. 👏🏼 I'm sharing a photo of what I picked up for takeout this morning, as always, wonderful... Recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

30/03/2026: A certainty regarding great pastry making in Taranto
09/12/2025: I can't wait to return to this bakery to buy more artisanal panettone. Last Christmas, for a dinner at a friend's house, I gave them a panettone made by them. It was filled with the freshest candied fruit and had an incredible aroma. I've tasted so many artisanal panettone, but theirs is truly recommended. I hope to find the same quality again this year.
