16/07/2025: Recommended by our friends, when we tried the pan pizza made at Charlie's Way, we were amazed to rediscover forgotten flavors. Unavailable anywhere else, at least in the city. They use high-quality ingredients even in their fried foods. I recommend the parmigiana pan pizza... bliss!

04/08/2025: We tried the classic tomato and mozzarella panzerotto, the classic plus spicy, and the mortadella and pistachio. Delicious, crunchy, not heavy, and not fried! The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. A must!

03/01/2025: As soon as I left this place, unfortunately I went thanks to the reviews of 4.6, but unfortunately I don't see these truthful reviews, they ask you to have dinner but there is nothing to eat only two or three types of pucce, and three types of piadina , never seen a pub where they don't make burgers or fries, they bring the chips to you packaged in a bag, cold and old place, Not to mention the waitress, she wanted to take away my glass with the beer still in it... €15, 50 for 2 beers 04, and a trio, a place to forget..

12/08/2025: A small pub with tables in the alleys behind the castle. The service is truly friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. We chose the pinsas, and they were truly delicious, both the classic ones and the more unusual ones, perfect for pairing with beer. Recommended.

16/06/2025: I only got to know this pub last summer when, while exploring the alleys of the historic center of Avetrana on foot, we came across this fantastic place and we immediately fell in love with it so much that now after work it has become a regular stop to go and get a beer or a cocktail from Mario who is always kind and helpful. A truly down-to-earth person who makes you feel at home right away and not a foreigner who is just passing through. I only give 5 stars because it is not allowed to give more. But as a Google local guide I can't help but recommend this place. Compliments also to all his staff

15/07/2025: Locale trovato per caso perché in 7 amici non avevamo prenotato da nessuna parte. Bella location...raffinata all'interno e all'esterno. Il menù è per la maggiore di pesce, ma chiedendo alla titolare, si possono avere anche piatti di terra. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimi. Io ho mangiato un piatto di crudo eccellente. L'unico neo, se proprio devo trovare un difetto alla sera, è stata la Festa di battesimo di una bellissima bimba, che a mio avviso, andava fatta in una saletta a loro riservata. La musica ad alto volume e l'animazione del dj, ha tolto atmosfera al posto, impedendo anche una piacevole conversazione. Detto questo, ci ritornerei per assaggiare altro.

01/08/2025: I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I feel it's right to share my experience in a constructive way. I ordered a Margherita pizza for €8, but unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations: the dough was undercooked and rubbery, with an unpleasant flavor. Shortly after eating it, I developed stomach pain that persisted for several hours. I understand that a bad day can happen, but a restaurant in our beautiful Taranto should be more attentive, especially when it comes to a dish that is a symbol of our culinary tradition. Places like this, if they don't focus on quality and hygiene, risk damaging the city's image in the eyes of tourists and residents alike. I hope this report will be taken as an incentive to improve. Taranto deserves to be represented by passionate and attentive restaurateurs.

30/03/2025: Simply an institution, pleasant environment and excellent food, like having a barbecue with friends.

07/08/2025: I was with friends and we sat at tables with table service. We asked for crepes, ice cream, and coffee, and they told us they couldn't order them. We went to get a receipt and lined up at the counter, but after more than half an hour, we were still there; the line had stopped. The kids before us had been there for over an hour, and in the meantime, the crepes were made exclusively for the restaurant. Furthermore, it's impossible to have only two burners under these circumstances. In the end, we got our money back. I'm only disappointed because I've been going to that place for years, and things are only getting worse.

01/07/2025: The Caffelatte was delicious. The Latte macchiato was delicious. I was at the bar for breakfast and I went straight to the cashier to get the receipt (as it should be done). I ordered a caffè latte and a croissant. The lady at the cashier, very kind, gave me the receipt and I went to the counter to have breakfast. Instead, I asked the barista for a latte macchiato and not a caffè latte, and he served me very kindly. While I was having breakfast, I noticed that many of those people were there for a coffee or for breakfast and they were almost all workers who were having breakfast in a relaxed way before facing the day at work. After breakfast, I left. Difference between caffè latte (1) and latte macchiato (2): 1. Prepare an espresso in your favorite cup. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso. 2. Prepare the coffee that is poured into the hot frothed milk. In conclusion, I would like to say that if you had an argument with someone in the morning or woke up on the wrong foot, stay home and don't go around bothering people who work for a caffe latte/latte macchiato when the only difference between the two is one element being poured before the other.
