L'oasi del riccio

19/06/2025: Attratti dalla location ci siamo fermati ma che delusione:
Antipasto di cozze neanche male ma le alici marinate sapevano solo di aceto e assomigliavano molto a quelle di un supermercato.
Spaghetti alle vongole che non sapevano di niente e spaghetti allo scoglio che sembravano in brodo.

11/06/2025: Siamo stati qui il 2 giugno, premesso che fosse un giorno festivo e anche caldo, il ristorante era affollato infatti abbiamo dovuto attendere circa un’oretta prima di poterci accomodare. Al momento dell’ordine, il cameriere ci comunica che alcuni dei primi piatti presenti sul menù non erano disponibili, quindi la scelta si riduceva a soli quattro piatti. Dopodiché ordiniamo un piatto di ricci, un’insalata di polipi, spaghetti con gli scampi e spaghetti ai frutti di mare, più una porzione di frittura di pesce mista. Il cameriere ci comunica che il costo dei ricci è di 1,50 € a pezzo, ma se volevamo quelli più grandi e pieni avevano un costo di 2,50 € a pezzo, il che mi sembrava abbastanza esagerato e ovviamente abbiamo optato per quelli da 1,50 €. In effetti non erano un granché, stessa cosa per l’insalata di polipo pagata circa 7/8 €, per una porzione davvero misera. Almeno i primi erano abbastanza abbondanti e la qualità dei prodotti era tutto sommato buona. Il locale è carino, in quanto si trova fronte mare, ma il servizio è fatto con tovaglia e piatti usa e getta. Il conto finale era di 63 €, con quello elencato prima e una bottiglietta d’acqua più un quartino di vino bianco, per la quantità dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato, ci aspettavamo qualcosa in meno o che comunque venisse arrotondato il totale a 60 € (trattandosi di uno sconto di appena €3), cosa che non è stata fatta e non ci è neanche stato rilasciato lo scontrino fiscale. Sicuramente non è un posto che non consiglierei, in quanto anche i camerieri sono stati tutti gentili, ma si potrebbe fare di meglio!

26/09/2025: Excellent experience, with excellent parking possibilities... in the complete tranquility of Selva di Fasano, excellent bar, market and everything you need including various types of products... we made magnificent stuffed sandwiches, soft and warm sandwiches filled by a very good and polite boy, thanks from Tropea, we hope to see you again... anyway for Fasano, super bar market... congratulations
26/09/2025: It's so nice to have breakfast and immediately immerse yourself in Italian life. Everyone in this part of town seems to stop by for a cup of coffee. Lovely people.

22/09/2025: We went to this place for a crepe. What can I say... it was disgusting. Raw dough, not enough filling. Plus, the water was incredibly hot, beyond words. Use the refrigerators 😅
22/09/2025: Located near the city center, it's very nice, and the owners are incredibly kind and, above all, friendly. I recommend the beer spritz, which is delicious, unique, and truly fantastic. I recommend this place to everyone.

21/02/2025: We bought the fish and sea urchin pulp from Nautilus, well known in Ostuni for its quality and knowing that there was the possibility of cooking it. Then they took us to a place next door which appears to have been a pizza restaurant before. €20 for cooking!!! 😮 €16 for cooking pasta (2 ounces)!!! 😮😮€3 each for the service (Paper placemat, chipped plate - non-existent fish cutlery) You clean the fish yourself!!!. 1/2 bottle of wine and water. Total €57😩 to add to the fish €64 = €122!!! 😰 (For 2) 🙃obviously without side dish or dessert or coffee!!! Dear gentlemen of Nautilus, if you want to lose customers, you are on the right track!

29/10/2025: Small portions, high prices, and overall a very uninspired experience. Paying €6 in Brindisi for a microwaved dessert with ready-made sauce from a tube is incomprehensible. And to top it all off, they said they didn't accept card payments.
30/08/2025: Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the welcome was cold, probably due to a grumpy waitress. Later, I ordered fish and ended up with sand in my mouth. When I pointed out the problem, the waiter seemed completely indifferent... As for the location, the terrace is very beautiful, but nothing more.

We ordered two appetizer platters and were pleasantly surprised by the quantity of excellent products we received.
We loved it.
They deserved more than their 3.8 rating.
17/09/2025: We stopped for lunch to eat flea market. The flea market is good, very generously stocked. The coppa is delicious. The prices are slightly high, but justified by the touristy location.

17/08/2025: It's a beach club. Permanent cabins have been built along the rocks. Seasonal cabins for locals. There's a small beach. But there are also several stairs to go down into the water. A beautiful, pleasant, and timeless place. Next door is the beach canteen. With its service. The prices remain cheap. A popular spot. They let foreigners in, with free parking.
10/08/2025: We visited this restaurant last night with friends and family. We placed our order just before 10:00 PM, but the wait for our pizzas was very long. Throughout the evening, incorrect orders were received several times, and in an attempt to resolve the issue, we were offered pizzas we hadn't requested.
A significant issue was the lack of attention to menu changes due to food allergies, despite these being clearly communicated when ordering. Furthermore, the staff was not very friendly in handling the situation.
One positive aspect was the live music, which made the wait more bearable. However, overall, the experience was not positive and did not meet expectations.

03/10/2025: What can I say! We rushed to this place to escape the rain. We ordered two plain coffees, two espressos, and two cups of hot tea (which arrived without sugar). We went to the bathroom (dirty and without toilet paper). After consuming our order, we paid. What a shock! 33 euros, including 12 for a cover charge. What a cover charge?! Six of us sat at a table for two, not even a napkin left.
Terrible experience, don't go there. It's the typical attitude of those who want to rip off tourists.

The Piazzetta Spritz cafe bar

04/10/2025: The location is superb and the outside is stunning, so we wanted to have a cocktail here after lunch.
After standing in line like idiots for a quarter of an hour at the bar (and it was otherwise quiet), the waiter bumped into us several times but otherwise paid no attention to us, and we eventually left.
24/07/2025: Not sure how to rate this establishment. The guy that barely speaks Italian or English literally pulls you in. We took a seat and were told to go to another building and order drinks ourselves as it is a self service. Quite puzzling, as 3 yrs ago it used to be a normal bar with normal table service.

21/08/2025: We ordered takeout tonight: a portion of mixed fried fish cost €23, and the same price for fried squid alone. The portion wasn't large, and the shrimp hadn't been gutted. The quality-price ratio wasn't satisfactory.
We won't be returning...
30/07/2025: The quality of the food, especially the fish and shrimp, was clearly disappointing! Nothing tasted good; it was like eating food from a supermarket. The service was good, though!

The location is very nice and very quiet. Fresh food and excellent service. We went late last night, and despite everything, they seated us and served us. The staff were incredibly kind and polite.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet evening.

The Angus ribeye was watery, small, and tasteless. It was just thrown onto the plate with a bit of cheap bagged salad (not even dressed). The pizza wasn't cooked properly. And we were served at different times: the meat first, and the children, who had ordered pizzas, much later. So, we faced a dilemma: do we eat it hot and alone, or cold together? That said, we had to wait five minutes for the meat to cool down before we could get salt and olive oil. Unfortunately, we didn't read the reviews beforehand, otherwise we wouldn't have gone. We were fooled by the facade and the decor. So, avoid this place!

29/07/2025: Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla mia esperienza all’Albachiara: qualità del pesce elevatissima e un ambiente che, pur essendo rustico e informale, regala momenti davvero piacevoli grazie alla splendida vista sul mare. I piatti di mare – dai crudi come i ricci alle paste fresche – sono saporiti, genuini e ben eseguiti; ho particolarmente apprezzato le trofie ai ricci e il polpo grigliato.
Il personale è cortese e veloce: anche quando il locale è affollato, il servizio resta efficiente e amichevole. La selezione di vini è ampia e ben curata, con abbinamenti azzeccati ai piatti di pesce.
Perché quattro stelle e non cinque? L’ambiente è piuttosto semplice: tavoli di plastica, tovagliato di carta e una gestione della sala che nelle ore di punta può risultare un po’ caotica, con tavoli molto ravvicinati. Inoltre, il coperto con tovagliette di carta può sembrare un po’ alto in rapporto al livello del locale.
