30/05/2026: Real dark chocolate has disappeared, replaced by Nutella served in every conceivable way. A quick reminder: Nutella isn't chocolate; it's mostly sugar and palm oil with a little cocoa. Clearly, opening a jar is easier than offering real, quality chocolate. Behind the "young and trendy" image, there's very little choice and little appeal for customers. Avoid it until real chocolate makes a comeback.

16/04/2026: We left our suitcase here for safekeeping – not cheap at €5. When we went to pick it up at 4 pm, the place was locked and no one answered the phone. The man in the barber shop called the owners privately – we waited 45 minutes and missed our train. To top it all off: we didn't get our money back. Absolutely outrageous! 😤

21/08/2025: "LIKE FAMILY"—there's no other way to describe our "feeling" when we went to eat at La Ruota pizzeria at Z-Zomb! Fantastic home cooking, just like my grandmother's in Puglia, with authentic dishes and excellent value! The owner was incredibly friendly and kind, making our evening even more enjoyable! We'll be back often! Highly recommended!

04/06/2026: We got married on June 1st at Palme Beach and can say with absolute certainty that we had a dream wedding. There were truly no negatives: everything was organized impeccably, exceeding our every expectation. A special thanks goes to Giacomo Angelini, an extraordinary person, always available, full of ideas, and above all extremely professional. He accompanied us through every stage of the planning, always providing the best advice and helping us make our event simply perfect. A huge thank you also goes to all the staff at Palme Beach and to the restaurant manager Sergio, who was extremely helpful from the first meeting, starting with the menu selection, guiding us on the most suitable pairings, even with regard to the wines. The service was impeccable: we received countless compliments from our guests, who were impressed by the attention to detail. The staff was always present and attentive: the glasses were refilled as soon as they emptied. Even during an unexpected moment, when the wind picked up, the staff intervened immediately, finding a quick and effective solution to avoid any inconvenience, managing to cover the venue and manage everything perfectly. We chose the all-buffet option, and despite some initial hesitations, it was a complete success: no lines and perfect organization. The food was excellent, everything was incredibly fresh, including the seafood. Another detail we greatly appreciated was the impeccable cleanliness, even the bathrooms, which were always spotless throughout the day. Many of our guests described our wedding as "just like in the movies," and we believe there's no higher compliment. We're truly delighted with our choice and recommend Giacomo e le Palme Beach to anyone looking for an extraordinary wedding—elegant, original, and with the highest level of quality and professionalism.

07/02/2026: My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner this evening. The reservation service was very quick and efficient. The location is one of the most beautiful we've ever experienced: there's a truly pleasant "Puglian" atmosphere. Despite the lack of background music, we were able to chat comfortably without feeling excessively silent. We were served by a very sweet, kind, efficient, and never intrusive young woman. The small welcome appetizer of taralli was much appreciated. The timing between courses was well-timed. Finally, a place that serves sauces in special bowls and not in the inconvenient sachets, which are often annoying to open (not to mention polluting). The pizza, in our opinion, is a cross between a Bari-style pizza and a Neapolitan pizza. It's very tasty and light, more crunchy than soft. You can immediately tell the ingredients are high-quality. Their attention to celiac disease is commendable. The bill is slightly higher than average, but overall it's worth the experience. It's definitely highly recommended in Monopoli!

07/08/2026: We had dinner at the Loggia di Pilato, choosing the house appetizers, and for the first course, I chose a risotto. Everything was excellent: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and truly exquisite flavors. The service was also excellent: courteous, attentive, and professional staff. The only small complaint was the wait time, which was a bit long, but absolutely acceptable and more than made up for by the quality of the dishes. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll gladly return.

07/08/2026: A historic place, always a pleasure to see open again, but the food was awful, the service was rude, and the prices were outrageous. We had dinner during the week with a reservation, no wait (at least to be seated). We arrived half an hour later, but they came to take our order, and we waited another half an hour for the appetizer. The appetizer was horrendous, costing €36 for two people and consisting of four small plates: burnt and dry au gratin mussels, tough meatballs, and bland green beans. Next came the grilled meats that tasted like they'd been boiled, with raw, bloody, rubbery rolls. The mixed fried fish arrived dark in color, perhaps from the oil it was cooked in, and on a plate so small it was impossible to eat. We also ordered half a chicken from the menu, but we received a tiny, miserable thigh, which we paid a fortune for. The historic place has dirty, grease-filled panoramic windows. The pass where the staff leaves the dirty plates and collects the ready-made dishes is horrendous. On the left were piles of dirty dishes that the dishwasher was picking up and moving with his own hands to the plates ready to be served on the right, causing soapy water to drip everywhere. I don't know how many hands were working on those plates full of food. The waiters were few and rude, too; one even went so far as to tell us we couldn't expect anything more in the month of August... The only thing I recommend is: DO NOT EAT AT THE LOGGIA DI PILATO. Horrible food, horrendous management. We spent €200 for six people without eating anything. Horrible, miserable food.

The location was perfect for good food, excellent service, attention to detail, and fantastic entertainment during dinner, including a singer and a show. Special thanks go to the great owner, Nicola, an exceptional person in every way.

11/06/2026: We ate here twice, a group of three, for dinner. The ambiance was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly and humorous. The food was excellent; the second time, we were recommended the fresh dragonfish, and we're so glad we took their advice. Both times, we were offered a complimentary limoncello. 28/06/2026: We ordered cappuccinos, cold milk with cocoa, and croissants to go. The cappuccinos were nothing special. They had cocoa on the bottom of the cold milk, and cold milk on top, so the cocoa thickened underneath and didn't melt, but the best part were the croissants. Inedible: they crumbled and were chock-full of butter, it felt like you were biting into a stick of butter 😖🤮

While waiting, I noticed some raiders going directly into the kitchen without any sanitation. The pizza I ordered (my aunt's) turned out to be a mediocre ham pizza. Tables are sparse.
