22/08/2025: Skyrocketing prices on Peroni beers starting at 66 euros, a small plate of frozen chips for 6 euros, it's normal that you scare people away, but keep your prices down otherwise you'll face closure and you're not even in the center, I absolutely don't recommend it.

03/01/2026: I booked a table at 10pm, I arrived and it said 10.50pm for the table. I waited until 10.50pm and the table is still not available. Terrible service. I personally do not recommend going there.

13/03/2026: A attitude of the staff, high prices for the quality offered. Prices on the menu are different from those on the receipt (fraud)which is unfair commercial practices. Service charge of 3 euro per person (one of the highest in the Puglia region), but nothing in return.

06/02/2026: Excellent food, a family-run atmosphere, attentive service, and courtesy. A wonderful place to enjoy a lunch break. Located in the historic center, just steps from the sea.

It's a shame my langoustine pasta was made with frozen ingredients...👎 Carafe water is extra! 👎👎👎😢 The service from morning to breakfast was deplorable. The waitress was absent; she criticized us for not sitting where we were supposed to, even though she's never in the dining room, supposedly because she's alone, even though there are only three tables. She didn't offer us anything; we had to ask for cappuccinos... At the buffet, there was no coffee in the pot, and the hot food was empty (she didn't offer us anything...😤). The breakfast was meager for a hotel at this price...

23/10/2025: The food was very delicious and the service was good. I’m giving 1 star because during lunch today, a Senegalese street vendor came into the restaurant, and after we didn’t give him money, he started insulting us. I think the waiters could have done something about it. That’s why I’m giving only 1 star — after that, the meal didn’t even taste good anymore!

17/01/2026: We ordered pizzas through Just Eat at 5:50 PM because, being Saturday and with kids, we needed to eat early. The order was confirmed with a delivery notification at 8:30 PM. At 9 PM, still no delivery, and we called twice. Rude and arrogant, they told us over the phone that next time we could easily try another pizzeria. At 9:30 PM, still no pizza in sight. A terrible experience.

03/03/2026: Haute cuisine, locally sourced produce, and obsessive passion are the hallmarks of this place. Extra virgin olive oil from centuries-old olive trees has never tasted so good! If you want to ENJOY food, you absolutely must stop at this beautiful period farmhouse, which is also very easy to get to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! STANDING OVATION!!!!!!!!!!

26/10/2025: I went for a dinner here with my parents visiting me from abroad and the experience was just perfect. Welcoming owner and staff, highest quality of ingredients grown at the Masseria. I will definitely come back when I’m Puglia 😍

25/01/2026: As always, the eye (as well as the palate) deserves its share. Last night I ordered two pizzas from Just Eat. Unfortunately, my review is extremely negative. As you can see from the photos, the pizzas were completely burned. I wonder: when you serve burnt pizzas like this, are you actually satisfied with your work? Poor value for money. Horrible tasting pizzas (for the little there was to eat). And don't come telling me, "It was Saturday, too many deliveries, blah blah," because regardless of the day and time, pizzas like this shouldn't be served. Money taken and wasted.

08/11/2025: Terrible experience, never again... We ordered 2 and they arrived after exactly an hour... Freezing cold and wrong... if you are not able to offer a takeaway service simply don't do it

03/11/2025: The toilets were dirty, the fish was burnt, and the pasta was cooked carelessly. A real shame. The restaurant's location is a goldmine. Perhaps it was all because it was off-season. They could easily spend a day sprucing up the place so that, given the location, it would be worth stopping by for a drink or two.

27/10/2025: We stopped at this restaurant both for its location overlooking a beautiful central square and for its lower prices compared to other restaurants. We had a dish of fava beans and chicory, seafood risotto, and mixed grilled fish. The aforementioned dishes turned out to be truly delicious. The waiter was friendly, as was the owner, with whom we chatted for a moment after the meal. The bill wasn't excessive, although €6 for a glass of white wine isn't in line with the price of the dishes. We were nevertheless satisfied with the lunch.

17/11/2025: What looks like a luxury escape online is, in reality, a run-down hotel with filthy pools, black mold, and dead bugs on the blinds. The “5-star” service? More like zero-star: staff were untrained, disinterested, and couldn’t care less. For the same price, you could be lounging in a stunning water villa in the Maldives or French Polynesia. Instead, we did get grime, decay, and attitude. Avoid .

30/10/2025: DO NOT STAY HERE! For the outrageous price of over 1500€ per night, the so-called 5* luxury hotel “La Peschiera” falls drastically short of the standards one would expect from this category and price point. Instead, here’s what you can actually expect: - Filthy pools with peeling paint, black mould and dead insects floating in the water - Dead bugs stuck to the curtains in your room and a dirty A/C - Disorganised and poorly trained staff, with NO visible presence of upper management on-site - A shocking lack of attention to small details, such as drying off the dangerously slippery patio after rain (which also happens to be the only access to the rooms), not replacing wet cushions, or even mentioning of à la carte breakfast options after several days! This hotel is a complete rip-off and does not even come close to the quality of other SLH properties! Please save your money and avoid disappointment.
