07/07/2025: We had lunch on our first day in Puglia and the food was spectacular, service was 10/10, Ilaria was our waitress, really charming, she recommended places to visit, the restaurant is very charming and the views are great, we will definitely come back.

15/07/2025: The 1 star is for the location. Enjoy a drink or two on the terrace but go elsewhere for a meal. I’m surprised to read past reviews on Sottocoperta Monopoli because our experience was horrible and the food can only be described as inedible. This was the worst meal we’ve had in Italy.

16/06/2025: 5 of us sat down at 18:30 and wanted to eat 2 pizzas because the two kids were very hungry. They sent us to come back in 30 minutes. There is a QR code menu, we couldn't find the wine list or the prices of the drinks after we went back. We tried to ask the prices in English, and they completely ignored us. We paid 12.5 Euros for the drinks and food being brought to our table and they kept looking at us. Of course we all ordered drinks too. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Italian hospitality with a 30% tip for two pizzas is simply outrageous...and the treatment is below criticism. The terrace was full of winged ants...we're not talking about a fancy restaurant, but a pizza place...

16/06/2025: A terrible experience, risotto with clams and the clams were full of sand, we ordered the fish baked in the oven and when we cleaned it we could smell a stench. I pointed it out when I got the bill and they told me very annoyed that the fish was very fresh. I never went there again

21/06/2025: Per me il caffè napoli è sempre stato garanzia di qualità: mossa da un impeto di nostalgia, ci sono tornata per un aperitivo. Ho trovato simpatia e cortesia da parte di chi ci ha servito ma pessima qualità: arancini, crocchette gommosi e focaccine con farcitura basica Non eravamo in cerca di un pasto gourmet ma un aperitivo così, neanche economico, è stata un grossa delusione.

26/06/2025: On our way back from the sea we had dinner at this pizzeria and we fell in love with it. Intimate and clean place, we dined outside under the olive trees, ordered pizza salads and puccia, everything excellent. Wood-fired pizza, friendly staff, maybe the service was too fast, and maybe too many cats wandering around the tables. Affordable prices. Highly recommended

06/06/2025: DELICIOUS! Nice restaurant with atmosphere, delicious fish dishes (we ate tuna tartare, Apulian octopus dish and fried seafood). Very nice service, the waiter advised us on the choice of wine and hit the nail on the head. We are very pleased. I recommend!

05/06/2025: Don’t go. An exhausting wait for more than 2 hours, entertained by offensive jokes from one of the waiters. I suggest to fire that waiter or send him to a proper school.

22/06/2025: Excellent service, the owner is very nice, unfortunately the only flaw is that she does not use adequate hygiene measures, in this case gloves, since every time I go I noticed that she does not use them, she touches food directly with her hands and also money without using disinfectants.

18/05/2025: I would say an institution now in Monopoli. Slices, pizzas, pucce and a counter always full of New. Fast and efficient. And importantly, never missing a smile!

31/05/2025: Always excellent pizza is a regular appointment on Saturday night!! It's not Saturday without eating Titty's fantastic pizza. Fantastic staff, super pizza chef, but above all top quality products! Highly recommended.
