Tips: – Make a reservation in advance — the restaurant is very popular, especially in the evenings. – If you want to try a traditional panzerotto, come on Tuesday — it’s the only day they make it, and it’s absolutely worth it! A tip for the chef, as a restaurateur, I would have dared to try a slightly more unusual first course, while still staying within the traditional theme. (I'd leave the orecchiette with ragù only for small children.) Otherwise, everything was fine. Valentina was very friendly.

05/10/2025: Restaurant directly connected to the butcher's shop just outside Alberobello. We chose the medium-rare rib-eye steak, but as it wasn't very thick, it was a bit overcooked. Plastic dishes. The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent. I've never had such good ricotta.

12/11/2025: Very close to the B&B where we were staying, we headed here for dinner. A lively trattoria, with many paintings on the walls and a colorful, cheerful ceiling (at least where we were sitting); the wooden beams give you a glimpse of what it must have looked like before it became a restaurant, very characteristic. We were greeted by a polite and friendly young man who explained the menu and presented the buffet, if we'd liked. The place was very quiet; even after others arrived after us, we were able to chat freely without any problems. I couldn't help but try the lasagna and the homemade Linzer torte, both delicious: I would have had seconds! The other dishes served were also plentiful and equally tasty. The price was absolutely in line with what we ate, very honest. If we ever come back, we'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

12/11/2025: We visited this restaurant with my family. Excellent and fast service. Excellent quality food, especially the pumpkin cream soup, lasagna, tagliolini with ragù, and goulash. Reasonable prices. If we come to Trento again, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you, keep up the good work!

13/07/2025: La qualità del cibo e dei prodotti che utilizzano è elevatissima ed imparagonabile con qualsiasi altro ristorante-pizzeria. I tempi di attesa variano, di solito però è meglio prenotare per star sicuri di trovare un posto. La consiglio vivamente. Il luogo è pulito, ampio, si affaccia direttamente sul mare. Unica pecca, e dico unica davvero, sono i costi un po’ elevati, ma d’altronde comprensibile data la qualità di ciò che offrono.

14/10/2025: It's my favorite place in Salento. Fabio is a true master of hospitality and dining. He takes complete care, from the selection of ingredients to the suggestions for the dishes. He's always present and close to the tables, making this a unique experience thanks to his precise descriptions of the dishes. The vegetables have a flavor I haven't tasted in a long time. He's a master at preparing fish dishes, managing to bring out their flavors (we people from Bari say that in Salento they don't know how to cook fish, but Fabio is an exception!)... For me, when I'm in Salento, Fabio is a must-visit...for me, the best! P.S. The price is very fair for the quality and quantity of the dishes...I've been going there for several years and it's never disappointed. Highly recommended!!!

25/08/2025: The pizzas are good, but I think it's important to point out that ketogenic dough requires a specific phone call. We specified that we were diabetic, but that wasn't enough, and we found ourselves in an awkward situation at dinnertime. Fortunately, the staff was able to source a base. The wait is a bit long, but the dough is very good, even the keto one, which contains a total of 4 carbohydrates. Cereal-based and gluten-free bases are also available (with a dedicated oven).

18/10/2025: Although located on a small one-way side street off Viale Salandra (heading toward the nearby University Hospital) and with limited parking, the shop is spacious and welcoming, with the counter facing the entrance. The female staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The baked goods are above-average quality; the focaccia barese with whole olives is particularly good, along with other classic specialties, such as rustici, croquettes, panzerottini, small dry pastries, and more. Ultimately, this excellent bakery is within walking distance and, in my opinion, one of the few best in the area. Definitely worth a try. Recommended.
