11/05/2025: Dopo una gara sportiva, ci siamo ritrovati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la squadra. Locale direi molto accogliente e pulito. Proprietari simpatici e molto attenti, così come gli altri camerieri. Menù non molto lungo ma cmq sufficiente. Servizio rapido e precisissimo. Carne molto buona e cotta benissimo. Vino consigliato molto buono. Rapporto qualità prezzo credo buono. Io probabilmente ci ritornerei.

17/08/2025: I'm giving one star because they charged me €1.80 for a croissant. An empty croissant costs €1.30, with 50 cents for jam. Prices that aren't appropriate for the neighborhood.

12/10/2025: We went last night for the first time, and even though it was Saturday, we managed to get a table without a reservation. We ordered two pizzas: they were really good, with a light, well-cooked crust. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening. What can I say, we had a great time! I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back.

11/09/2025: This place is definitely one to avoid. We waited a long time even though it was empty. The pizza was awful, and even worse, the cold cuts on the platter were stale and not fresh. I regret not getting up and leaving. Customers need to be taken care of.

22/08/2025: A beautiful beach, with large umbrellas and plenty of space between them, a bar, and a large outdoor terrace. In the evening, there's piano music, excellent cocktails, and delicious cuisine.

20/08/2025: We spent just 2 days at this fantastic beach resort equipped with every comfort. First of all, the welcome upon our arrival by the brunette lady whose name I unfortunately don't know. The bar and restaurant with all its kind, professional staff and impeccable service and then the very attention to detail in the environment. We had a great time.

04/08/2025: After a week of work, I wanted to relax a bit by the sea. I decided to try this beach on the recommendation of friends. All day, they blasted me with loud disco music. I tried going for a walk, and I could hear it from afar. I was hoping they'd turn the volume down at least after lunch, but no luck. I came home with a migraine. I definitely won't be returning, and I don't recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing day.

24/07/2025: Very unfriendly and unmotivated at the bar, a sad Aperol mix -> 90% water. The mixing ratio is poor. Otherwise, a very nice, clean, comfortable beach area with umbrellas, music at the bar, plenty of space, and comfortable for chilling until 8:30 p.m. 😇🕶⛱️🌞🐶🐟

27/08/2025: Unfortunately, the service was poor. We ordered a mixed grill with onion rings and octopus with potatoes. The mixed grill with the rings was ready shortly afterward, while the octopus was ready, but they told us it would be a good 10 minutes for the potatoes, so the octopus remained in a tray on the counter waiting for the potatoes. We waited, and shortly after, other customers arrived asking how long it would be for the octopus with potatoes, and their answer was 5 minutes, when I was already waiting those famous 10 minutes. I continued waiting and saw that the octopus, which was already ready for me in a tray, was half poured onto the grill and placed in a sandwich for someone else... then some potatoes were added and I was told it was ready. We reported that it didn't look like octopus, and they added raw octopus to my order. Sorry, but we didn't eat together because the food preparation wasn't coordinated. It was also clear that other people were treated better than us. 1 star.

02/08/2025: The food quality is significantly lower than its competitors on the coast, and the prices are significantly higher. The order was wrong. I highly recommend anyone who comes across this sandwich shop to stop a few meters before or after: you'll find kiosks with much better products and at more honest prices!

14/09/2025: We were craving an aperitif by the sea, and the location was simply stunning. The waiter, "Dino," was professional and attentive, and followed by his other colleagues. They welcomed us and offered us the evening's various menus, albeit somewhat imposed. The appetizers we ate at the aperitif were of excellent quality, accompanied by glasses of excellent wine. Finally, the music was very pleasant and easy to dance to. What can I say? Congratulations!

20/09/2025: I ordered a pizza, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The pizza arrived almost burned, with black spots visible in the photo, and the flavor suffered. I'm sorry, but the quality of the food is unacceptable. I won't order from here again.

14/08/2025: Pizzas are consistently prepared after the arrival of the person who ordered them hours in advance, causing constant and unacceptable delays, even for reservations on quieter days. Otherwise, the pizzas are good, but reservations aren't possible, and you'll have to wait at least twenty minutes each time.

02/08/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, especially when I'm disappointed. This time I felt like it, paradoxically because the owners seemed kind and passionate. I was passing by, saw some people sitting outside, and stopped to get a pizza to go. What can I say, once I got home and tasted the pizza, my smile faded: I was completely disappointed: the pizza was exaggeratedly thin, really, too much, and even more so, rubbery. I felt no pleasure in eating it, even though the ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, but just thrown away. I ate it in five minutes, both because of the inconsistency and because I was dissatisfied. I'm really disappointed because the owners really seemed very passionate, and it's not like me to leave reviews like that. The pizza I ate wasn't at all worth the price I paid, very far from it, because after all, there wasn't any pizza per se; I felt like I wasted my money. I hope it was a coincidence. Good luck.

09/06/2025: I am a Deliveroo rider and I happened to try pizza at this place by pure chance. Last night, during my working hours, I went to pick up a delivery at Carminiello and, since it wasn't ready yet and I had been fasting since 12:00, I took advantage of the opportunity to quickly eat half a pizza from those on display: a margherita with buffalo mozzarella. I was literally amazed by the strong and excellent flavor and the consistency of the dough, digestible, filling and quality. I can say that this is the best pizza I have eaten here in Lecce. It definitely deserves a five-star rating. It should be noted that it is a small place, with few seats, so it is ideal for a quick meal or for takeaway. The most critical reviews are definitely exaggerated compared to the quality of the pizza prepared in this place and the service provided and lower the average rating too much, which (although very good) does not do justice to the excellence of Carminiello. 11/10/2025: The food was okay, but the foccacia was hard. It was in a nice location, and the prices were quite reasonable. Be careful when paying by card, though. We paid and the lady asked us to pay again without a receipt. We were only surprised when the manager canceled the payment on his payment terminal. It was probably a fraud attempt.

27/09/2025: Perfect place for an aperitivo after wandering the streets of Alberobello. It's pricier here, given the location. Sitting right in front of some trulli and people watching. Service is fine, with the bar serving some strong Aperol spritz. Grabbed some mini panzerotti to pick at. Overall, an enjoyable stop in the historic part of Alberobello.
