24/08/2025: I've dined here many times, even in years past! The food has always been excellent, and the staff is very friendly! I recommend it.

23/08/2025: I ate with my family. A platter, two pizzas, and a sandwich. The platter was described as "rich platter." It was lacking in both quantity and selection for the €19 price. Furthermore, we had ordered it for three people, and they only brought one dish... Obviously, we asked for two more. The pizza dough wasn't great. Unfortunately, given its prime location, they should have taken more care with what they offer.

20/08/2025: The dishes weren't exceptional. We ordered soupy paccheri with lobster and tagliolini with seafood, which I didn't find excellent, despite it being a simple dish. I didn't like the service at all: no plate to put the shellfish on, no bread to accompany the appetizer (which was requested and brought, however), and we asked for hand wipes to clean our hands as we went straight to the table because the waiters weren't there. I also work in the restaurant business, and working for quantity but with little quality isn't my style.

25/08/2025: Having to leave a review about a bar just for a beer should be rare, but Faros Café deserves it. I went with three friends, we sat for about 20 minutes, each having a beer, and on top of the beers, they charged us a €1.50 cover charge each.

16/08/2025: Service miserable ways zero scouts I am very sorry that I wanted to choose Greek shop because I am from Greece and tell me without even having to book the table to raise us and not even apologize because they probably wanted just to persecute us so I felt! I hope the gentleman who owns the shop understands that he must choose people with respect for his shop!

15/06/2025: Huge disappointment. I chose this pastry shop to order my birthday cake, providing clear instructions on how it should be decorated and asking to avoid changes or additions. When I went to pick it up, the cake was completely different from what I had asked for. Unwanted decorations were added, more expensive, without any warning or consent. The worst thing was the total lack of discussion on the part of the owner: no response, no explanation, no respect for those who buy. This behavior is unserious and unprofessional. I do not recommend this pastry shop to anyone who wants a reliable and transparent service.

15/06/2025: Don't trust them. I agreed with the owner on a cake that they deliberately got wrong. The flowers were supposed to be fake but they were sugar, a high base was agreed but it was low, the writing was supposed to be brown but it was lilac (?). If you don't know how to satisfy the customer's requests, leave room for someone who is more competent than you. In addition to having increased the price from €60 to €80. After this charity I will definitely not go back. Furthermore, the owner was kind enough to disappear when I wanted clarification. You don't work like that, leave room for someone who wants and knows how to do it.

03/09/2025: We went to a pizzeria in the center of Ostuni by chance and clearly don't understand the positive reviews. While the welcome is professional, the products are of poor quality; we didn't finish any of our dishes. Even the buschettas were made with flavorless tomatoes. Too bad.

22/06/2025: We waited 2 hours to eat 2 appetizers, very slow service, really small table near the kitchen where they were coming out in front and behind, highly not recommended

The "appetizers" consisted of undrained pickled vegetables straight from the industrial jar, the eggplant and zucchini were mushy, the "cured meats" were purple, almost black, for the cheeses; let's forget about them. The pizzas were completely burned and left on the table. The bill was unspeakable, considering what was served. Unlucky evening?

19/07/2025: I bought a tub of mussels yesterday morning at the price of €7.80. It seems too much for such a small portion from Greece but it can be done.

19/07/2025: Selling two trays of mussels with 10 mussels in each tray for 9 euros is crazy.

03/08/2025: We had dinner last night and ordered fries and bruschetta as appetizers. The fries were good, but most of the bruschetta was completely burned on the bottom. We mentioned this to the waitress, asking her to replace them, but all she said was "sorry." They also took away our fries before we'd even finished them, without asking if we wanted more. One guest ordered half a focaccia, and it was truly TERRIBLE: you know cork? That's what it is! Then we ordered pizzas, and luckily they were good, even if they arrived a little late. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the place 😅

05/01/2025: Inedible crepes. Chocolate passed off as Nutella and horrible consistency. Tasteless. We ordered 5 but as soon as we tasted the first one, we opted to get ice cream instead, which was equally disgusting. Not to mention the cost, €4 of "soggy egg omelette". How are they still open with zero quality? Not recommended.

16/08/2025: This place was recommended to me by locals as the best traditional restaurant in Vinci. We went for lunch today. Besides the typical Tuscan atmosphere, the kindness and hospitality typical of this area, we had a divine meal; the tagliata was excellent. The recommendation was spot on.

15/07/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time it felt necessary. At Ristorante La Torretta, near the Conti Guidi castle in Vinci, the experience was disastrous. Despite clarifying that we had two vegetarians, we were served platters of prosciutto and chicken liver pâté, along with pizza strips, bread, and focaccia. The first courses didn't improve the situation: raw pappardelle with wild boar and ricotta and spinach ravioli with a bitter aftertaste. The pork steak, served practically charred, made one of the guests feel ill, and he vomited shortly thereafter. As if that weren't enough, at a certain point the room filled with smoke from the kitchen, making it unbreathable. Finally, a hefty bill capped off this awful experience. Truly unpleasant, and I strongly advise against it.

02/09/2025: My husband, I, and my 11-year-old daughter just stopped for lunch at this little place overlooking the sea. We're from the north. We ate simple but delicious dishes. The service was quick, the staff were all young and friendly, and I found the place simple but very, very welcoming. Our table was in the shade, just a stone's throw from the cliff. We recommend it to anyone who loves nature, wants to enjoy the scenery, doesn't need anything fancy, and appreciates good, simple food.
