10/08/2025: If you want to eat excellent fish or freshly cooked first courses, Pronto Mare is the best choice with Piero Gelao who serves you with a smile and his expertise and his mother ready to satisfy every request!!!!!

15/09/2025: 0 stars. We arrived at 9:00 PM with a reservation. After an hour, no one came to our table to take our order, despite several reminders. Other tables arrived after us. An hour and a quarter later, after an exchange inside the restaurant with a rude and surly waitress, we got up and left. This is not the kind of behavior you should have toward customers.

10/09/2025: This small place at the beginning of the Santa Maria di Leuca seafront can easily go unnoticed; even the first impression is rather simple. However, if you want to satisfy your hunger at a truly affordable price, it's definitely worth stepping in and ordering a slice of crispy pizza or a deliciously stuffed homemade puccia salentina (similar to a stuffed pizza-like bread pocket). The two young men are very kind and even accommodate special requests, such as vegetarian toppings. Also noteworthy was the young man's thoroughness in washing his hands before preparing our puccia and, very kindly, sharing it between my wife and me. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts: we enjoyed this delicacy on the return trip to Otranto! Best regards from us Austrians!

26/10/2025: It's hard to find a restaurant in Salento where you can eat badly, but I found one. Two things: poor quality and high prices.

26/09/2025: There's no escaping it: fresh, homemade products are worth buying...good, genuine, simple; pre-processed, industrial ones, especially if poorly reheated in the microwave, are almost inedible. It's a shame to find this gap. You have to know how to choose. Otherwise, they're down-to-earth, in a place that's not exactly aesthetically pleasing, but certainly does a lot of business. With a little more research, it could be even more enjoyable to return. Even when it comes to prices, some are out of line, while others are fair, if only for the quality.

22/08/2025: Forno Ruspante. If you're looking for Ruspini, you'll find it. You'll sell your soul to get a piece at 5:30 in the morning. The sign is the North Star of the direction. You walk in with a Ruspini smell that kills you inside.

12/10/2025: Friendly welcome, presentation of the day's catch. Very fresh. Good value for money. The swordfish was a delight. It's worth noting that in Puglia, the meal is charged at €3/person, and that side dishes, like our fries, are also charged at €5. The wines aren't excessive, and this one is very good. Sea view and a beautiful, clean interior.

The service was quick and efficient. The location also deserves a mention: both the interior and exterior are welcoming and well-maintained, making the experience even more enjoyable. 07/10/2025: Prices are high for the quality of the pizzas. Drinks are also expensive. A Paulaner Weiss costs €6 when it costs €1.20 at the supermarket: a full five times more! Disposable tablecloths and paper napkins. Service was slow despite the restaurant being empty.

02/07/2025: This is where we tried rusticos for the first time. Having eaten them elsewhere since, I can say they know how to prepare them well. But my 5 ⭐️ stars aren't just for the novelty, or for how much we enjoyed the snack, but also because this place was a true oasis on an extremely hot day. The place is spacious and quiet. The staff is attentive and efficient. They definitely saved the day.

18/09/2025: Pleasant enough. Pizzas were very good. Not much choice for casual diners. Linked to local camping village who get a wider choice on the menu. Wine was also good.
