14/09/2025: The location, the service, and the food were all fine. However, I'd like to share two incidents we experienced. The first is that I think, considering that pilgrims from all over the world come to San Giovanni Rotondo, it would be a good thing if the staff were more interested and willing to help us and make themselves understood. In the group, two people ordered two plates of breaded steaks, as the maitre d' understood us and said "impanato." When the dishes were brought, they weren't breaded steaks, but in sauce. The situation got a little awkward when we mentioned it, and the maitre d' didn't acknowledge having said that to us. He also got annoyed and asked, "What are we doing with that food?" They ended up eating the steaks, and after a while, the maitre d' came and offered to bring us the breaded steaks, but they had already eaten almost everything. The worst part of this dinner was when we asked for the bill and were sent back to the entrance. Another man wanted to charge us €120.50. As a courtesy to our group of six, he took the extra cents off our bill, leaving us with €20 each. Since the bill didn't add up (our total order was around €15 per person, including service and drinks), we asked for the receipt, which he refused to give us, claiming he wouldn't give it to us until we paid. If we had been in Spain, we would have filed a complaint or called the police to defend our rights. A friend of our group tried to explain to him that it was our right to review the bill before paying, but he became very rude, saying our friend was a very bad person. Thanks to our persistence, he corrected his "mistake" and took €20 off our bill the first time and another €4 the second time when we realized he had charged us for other, more expensive dishes. In addition to trying to trick us, he was very rude, teasing our colleague, playing the victim, and saying it was a three-generation business and that this was the first time this had happened to him. Later, thanks to local people, we learned they'd had more problems with other customers. Be careful and check your bill when you leave.

14/09/2025: Restaurant with terrible service, unpleasant treatment, and rude staff. As for the bill, they charge whatever they want and it doesn't match the prices offered on the menu.

05/06/2025: The food was not at all to my liking. Most of the things were totally covered in oil. Some things were raw. Others were salty honestly what I paid even if little was not deserved at all.

05/05/2025: Helt fantastisk restaurant vi besökte den 3 kvällar i rad perfekta fiskrätter och underbara viner dessutom hade vi nöjet att bli serverade av Tamara som gav oss dom perfekta vin tipsen

04/05/2025: Un disastro totale:unica nota positiva la gentilezza delle cameriere. Per mettere in fila il disastro cominciamo con la richiesta fatta su thefork di essere sistemati fuori: ovviamente non garantita. Poi abbiamo ordinato dei primi tutti diversi e dopo mezz'ora la povera cameriere è stata costretta a chiederci di cambiare l'ordinazione dopo avercela inizialmente presa, e l'abbiamo fatto. Ma il vero disastro è stato la qualità del cibo: risotto salatissimo quasi immangiabile, pasta con le cozze in cui non si sentiva incredibilmente il sapore delle cozze, orecchiette con le cime di rapa che raggiungevano appena il livello di mediocrità. E come ciliegina sulla torta ci sono un prezzo sproporzionato per la qualità del cibo offerto ed un allestimento/arredamento diffusamente dorato del ristorante che definirlo kitch è un eufemismo. Viene il fortissimo sospetto che le buone recensioni su Tripadvisor siano comprate e chiederei al sito di verificare. In conclusione una trappola per turisti assolutamente da evitare!!!!

05/06/2025: Posto molto accogliente. Banco della macelleria dove si sceglie la carne strepitoso. Ottimi lgi antipasti e buonissime le patate cotte sotto la cenere. Carne tutta di buona qualità la bavetta assai saporita. Prezzi in linea con quanto mangiato e servizio cordiale e puntuale.

28/01/2025: Scortesia dei proprietari che su nostra gentile richiesta di ricontrollare se avessero trovato un portafoglio dopo la nostra visita, si sono dimostrati scocciati e poco disponibili. Qualità del servizio e dei piatti mediocre. Purtroppo una brutta esperienza, a volte l’ ospitalità migliorerebbe l’ esperienza complessiva del cliente, ma in questo posto non esiste.

22/08/2025: I had a sandwich with smoked burrata, and it was very stringy. The bread was dry. The hot dog was also very dry, and the sausage was too small for the bread. The price was a bit too high. €10 for a hot dog leaves you hungry. The wine we chose wasn't great either. Since there wasn't much to choose from on the menu, I would have left it out.

12/08/2025: Excellent pucce and delicious pizzas. The owners are very kind and helpful. Definitely worth considering if you want great food at reasonable prices.

12/06/2025: Terrible experience, I will never set foot there again!!!! 7 pizzas ordered for home delivery, sour mozzarella, we called and the owner very calmly said it can happen!!! Pizzas thrown away🤢 inedible

09/06/2025: tourist trap. at 9 in the morning there was no choice. a handful of empty croissants and ONE (of number) of apricot croissants. the choice of desserts was almost finished, maybe a couple of pasticciotti still, then there was a TERRIBLE choice of savoury dishes, such as dry and practically unseasoned pizzas. the prices displayed were not consistent with those reported on the receipt, written exactly the croissants, €1.50. on the receipt, €1.80. I imagine the same thing for the coffee shop, since the cappuccino, reported on the price list as €1.80, on the receipt was €2.30. cappuccinos made badly, coffee base, and up to this point ok, with hot milk THROWN IN, without foam. 3/3 (I say this as a former barista), would have been taken back. absolutely not recommended place, close to the historic center, they do not care about customers nor the reputation of the place.

11/09/2025: Why don't you remove it from Google Maps? It's such a nuisance to tourists and people who don't know you're closed! There's a gym now. I don't know if the pizzeria has been moved, but there aren't any pizzerias at this address. I just wanted to get something to eat outside and close to home, but they just wasted my time.

29/07/2025: We got the best focaccia here we have ever had in Italy: crunchy outside, but super soft inside - it was a magic ... indeed. Greetings from Hungary! :)

31/03/2025: I placed an order and the pizza arrived completely unmade and stuck to the cardboard as if it had fallen to the ground... French fries were hard and really inedible. I had asked assistance for a refund as I couldn't have dinner but they refused compliments..

30/08/2025: Very good and beautiful restaurant. We arrived at 9 p.m. without a reservation and got a table for two. I recommend coming earlier with a reservation to see the sunset over the sea.

27/08/2025: What a beautiful restaurant, the view is unmatched, watching the sunset from this place is very romantic. I recommend ravioli di burrata con battuto di gambero rosso crudo. Spectacular, bocatto di cardinale.

23/08/2025: Back to the nursery. Improvised dinner with a friend on a late summer Friday: ample parking and only a few tables occupied. Quality food, carefully selected ingredients, expert cooking. Table service lacking even a hint of professionalism, except for one of the two very kind, helpful, and polite waitresses. The other one bursts into the table with little tact or delicacy, clears everything away hastily as if there were a line of customers waiting (the place is half-empty, but not closing time), and reaches the climax by crumpling up my placemat with my cell phone and sunglasses on it, which I quickly retrieve to prevent her from dragging them away. She doesn't apologize. At the checkout, the usual pleasantries take place, where the person I assume is the owner or a business partner asks me how the dinner went: I compliment the food but point out the poor service, recounting the unpleasant incident I had with the waitress who was there at the time. She smiles as if nothing had happened and says to her boss, "But that's not true!" The boss is very embarrassed. I grab the receipt and leave, without hearing anyone's apology. I didn't think I'd ever go back to daycare at 38. I'll be happy to never set foot in there again.

19/07/2025: A pub with a modern and refined atmosphere, large spaces and comfortable seating, for spending time with friends in complete serenity.

05/07/2025: Excellent beach with all the comforts, for those looking for a quiet holiday without stress it is ideal, with a tennis court and swimming pool and also with rooms in the b&b for those who want to stay. Excellent cuisine and also very close to the water park. Excellent value for money, staff always available and friendly

06/07/2025: Terrible home delivery service, if I order pizza with mozzarella that's what I expect to eat and not with scamorza cheese that makes me vomit 🤮, disgusting. ok, one less customer, you can also answer for me it stays like this
