17/07/2025: Un repas typique, savoureux et généreux dans une ambiance conviviale. L’osteria propose une cuisine des Pouilles authentique, avec des produits du terroir simples mais savoureux. Les orecchiette alla cime di rapa étaient excellentes, tout comme les antipasti variés et copieux. Le vin local complète parfaitement l’ensemble. Le service est attentionné. Ici, on mange bien, on se sent bien, et on repart avec le sourire. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour découvrir l'âme culinaire des Pouilles !

03/07/2025: Es ist eine familiäre und authentische Osteria mit entsprechenden pugliesischen Spezialitäten. Was wir als sehr schön empfunden haben, ist die kleine Karte mir den typischen traditionellen Gerichten sowie einem Tagesgericht (welches sich tatsächlich als zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte darstellte). In der Seitengasse gibt es einige Tische ansonsten sitzt man gemütlich im Kellergewölbe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und gaben sehr gute Erinnerungen an unseren Abend!

We always find the same impeccable quality: always fresh dishes, carefully selected ingredients, and authentic flavors that speak for themselves. The owner is a wonderful person, always attentive and helpful, capable of making every customer feel special. The attention to detail is evident in everything—from the welcome to the service, to the presentation of the dishes. And, the icing on the cake, the prices are truly fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic cuisine and a family atmosphere where they'll always be happy to return!

04/09/2025: First of all, we have to thank Mirco the tobacconist for recommending this place to us, even calling to ask if they had room for two people and our four-legged friend. Kindness is disappearing everywhere these days, but not in San Michele. Fortunato is the host—I say "host" because as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're at home. The seafood menu is impeccably prepared, the extensive menu makes you smile with every course, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is incredibly kind. I thank Fortunato again, and as I told him, we were the lucky ones. A heartfelt thank you to him and all the staff for a wonderful and enjoyable evening. Thank you, and see you next time.

27/08/2025: We had a fish-based dinner with a house menu that included 5 or 6 starters plus fried food to finish, all of which were of good quality.

17/08/2025: Their focaccia was by far among the best in Bari. Ditto the classic fried panzerotti. But for about a couple of years now, we've noticed a marked change in quality: the focaccia is no longer thin and no longer well-topped; the fried panzerotto is enormous, but the filling is paltry, despite its price having since risen to €2. On the other hand, the onion pizza, along with the ricotta and spinach one, continue to stand out for their simple goodness. The owners' total lack of kindness is as usual: never a smile, never a "thank you." And the turnover of the girls at the counter makes everything clear. At least they're always friendly and attentive. It's a real shame for a historic and renowned bakery.

11/08/2025: I stayed three nights with my partner at the property and would highly recommend it for your stay in Mattinata. The hotel is five minutes from the sea (both the free beach and the campsite's private beach on the same road), surrounded by olive trees. The private beach and stunning sea are just as beautiful as the more famous Mattinatella. The furnishings are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is impeccable, and the room is spacious, with a small balcony where you can enjoy a nice cool breeze despite the August heat. Plus, there's ample free parking and several restaurants nearby. But what really makes the difference, in my opinion, is the staff's courtesy and attention to detail: they provided us with a free guide to the area, allowed us into our room even before check-in, and were always kind and helpful, offering directions and recommendations. We ate pizza at the hotel restaurant twice, and it was truly delicious! And here too, the courtesy of the wait staff stood out: one evening, we had to wait a bit for the pizza (really nothing special, just a few minutes), and to "apologize," they offered us two tomato bruschettas while we waited. Small details that mark quality service! The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, mostly sweet, with a limited selection of savory options.

06/08/2025: The pizza was very good, it was a shame about the supplì we ordered... we opened the first one and it was literally frozen inside... the second one was the same, also with ice inside... we pointed it out when we did the bill and it was put on the receipt... it's a shame we didn't check immediately, otherwise I would have pointed it out a third time... I don't know if I'll go back... I'd only go back for the pizza

20/07/2025: As for the location, it's nice. The bathroom is terrible. The wait times are incredibly long and orders are forgotten. The pizza is served cold, probably because they have a small oven. The seafood spaghetti should be avoided due to its shelf life. Conclusion: Aside from the affordable price, don't expect to enjoy a night of good food.

12/09/2025: Hotel with a spacious garden, pool, bar, and access to the beach via stairs. Beautiful location and sea views, helpful and friendly staff. I recommend it.

11/09/2025: A decent hotel with a nice size rooms. They do need some updates on the rooms since they are old. The shower is very small and the towels are very thin. The pool is great but you will need a bathing cap to swim in the pool. You have easy access by stairs to the beach with pebbles. In the evening they often have weddings and depending on your room location this will bring some noise.

28/03/2025: Poor service to say the least: women's party in chaos, seats all next to each other; pizza below expectations: cold chips on top, an hour and a half of waiting, fried chips, also cold for the modest sum of €7. Never again.

28/08/2025: We were camping. Excellent access to the beach, convenient pool, but the town is a bit far; you'll have to get there by bike or other means, but it's very doable. The market isn't always well-stocked, especially during the Ferragosto holiday, when many people shopped there.

12/08/2025: It took ages. We had to ask twice for our drinks. First, there was no chicken, then there was. The girls were completely distracted. My husband's meat was good. The chicken was just okay. Nothing special. We won't be going back anytime soon.

10/08/2025: As a Roman on vacation in Puglia, I didn't expect to find a pizzeria in Francavilla Fontana that could surprise me so much. As soon as I walked in, the warm welcome and smiling staff made me feel at home. The waiters are attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer passionate advice. The pizzas? An explosion of authentic flavors. Excellent and light dough, even for those who don't usually digest pizza, generous toppings with top-quality ingredients. Each bite contains intense flavors that reflect this wonderful region. An experience that combines tradition and customer service: the perfect place for a special evening or a simple dinner with friends, but with the warmth and goodness that make you say, "I'll definitely be back here."

22/08/2025: Passing through for a rural visit, we entered the restaurant a little hesitant due to the low prices displayed outside. The three of us ordered 2 grilled lamb, good and plentiful, 1 veal chop good and plentiful and 2 mixed salads... we were very satisfied with both the dishes and the price, really fair considering it is a tourist place... if we happen to be in these parts again we will definitely come back to eat here.

02/07/2025: We returned after 5 years and found the place changed and enlarged, we thought! How beautiful!... Too bad the bombette are no longer like those of years ago, they are less delicate. But the worst thing was the wine that was starting to taste like vinegar. I hope it was just a coincidence.

08/05/2025: Local meat joint. Meat shop. Mostly visited by locals. They speak mostly Italian. There is no menu to read. They don't give you the opportunity to order what you want because they don't speak English well. They served us whatever they thought. We were offered local lamb specialties, but not everyone in the company eats lamb. Nice local beer. A delicious platter of delicacies - pictured. Very tasty meatballs - they didn't stay for a photo. Delicious baked potatoes. If you like lamb, I would recommend this place. There were steaks on display but we couldn't try them because they didn't let us choose from the display. Rather, we are disappointed. On leaving, we saw at the other tables that they also offer salad. Serves us for dessert homemade cantocini.

22/08/2025: Really good kebab and very reasonable prices. I recommend both the pitas and the Panini kebabs. I don't recommend the fried foods, even though they're always freshly made, because you can always taste the old oil. You can eat in or take out. A tip for friends from the north: absolutely try it, because this is a truly tasty kebab (trust me, someone who travels around Italy for work). For the truly adventurous, try the half-meter version, a 1.5kg kebab you can devour, at a truly amazing price. 😁

11/06/2025: Ho ordinato su just eat, l'app dice che nel panino a 5€ sono incluse sia le patatine che la bibita. Chiamo per chiedere informazioni e non capiscono nulla poi iniziano ad alzarmi il prezzo del panino prima a 6,50 poi a 7 e 50 all'arrivo (dopo 2 ore tra l'altro e di altre chiamate incomprensibili con ridposte qrroganti). Ridato l'ordine al rider e rimasto a digiuno poiché era tutto chiuso all'1 di notte.
